As the sun began to set the golden flowers unfurled and the pastel rainbow glittered in radiance.

“How are we supposed to tell where it is?...everything is glowing around here,” You declared following behind Jungkook towards the loud and roaring waterfall.

“It glows red,” Jungkook explained and suddenly it made sense to you. That was a good point, nothing else glowed red. Jungkook pointed at the cascading waters, “There it is.”

You looked and could see the twinkling of cherry red from behind the rushing water.

“How are we supposed to get to it?” You yelled in the midst of the loud beating of water against the rocks.

“There’s a pathway,” Jungkook answered however, that sounded ludicrous. There wasn’t a single pathway that you could see. How in the world is Jungkook going to talk about a pathway when clearly between you, Jungkook and the mushrooms were nothing but raging water?

You watched Jungkook remove the sack that he had been protecting for weeks off his back. Reaching in, he pulled out a small white satchel. Pouring the ashes into his hand he threw it into the water.

“Let’s go,”

Go where?  You thought to yourself. Those ashes didn’t change anything. But without further question you followed him. Apparently, you’ve trusted him more than you realized it. Jungkook reached over your head and plucked a ripe fruit from the vine growing along the crown of the fissure. He sliced it into halves and handed you a side.

“Is it safe?” You asked taking it into your hands.

“You ate berries along the way, you haven’t died yet.” Jungkook joked. You looked at the fruit in your hand. The outside looked dull but the inside of the fruit was juicy

Chapter 40: The ending is romantic and I love it, but she still has no clue of what is going on and is certainly frightened and confused.
