Drown To Your Death
The Curse of the Phoenix BeadsIt had been a few days since you saw that firing phoenix. He never appeared again nor did you have a clue where Jungkook was. For all you knew, he may be dead…or did he turn into a phoenix??? The image of the pile of dead men haunted your mind. Maybe he was in that pile. You had spent these few days mourning of sadness but you had no clue why. You were emotional and couldn’t help yourself.
But, if Jungkook was alive at all, if he was, he was great at wielding his sword, he wouldn’t be in danger. Right? You were now alone and in the midst of fighting those demons you had also lost your sword. How were you to defend yourself now? You talked yourself out of insanity and sighed. Remembering the demand from the phoenix, you pulled loose Jungkook’s headband that held your hair in a bun.
Stripping yourself of the little bit of clothes you had left, you stepped into the still waters of the river. The cold chill caused your teeth to chatter but your body quickly adjusted. Stunned, you watched the wounds on your arms begin to heal under water. When you removed your arms from the water and looked at them your skin was flawless. You touched your side and remembered the injury but as you ran you fingers along the memory, not a single groove from the scar was left.

Demons existed and the phoenix that perished 45 years ago, you saw it, you saw him. The memory of his crimson color burning in the light reminded you of Jungkook. The recollection of Jungkook and the phoenix still confused you. They were identical and different. Was Jungkook even a human at all?
Jungkook jerked from a dream he couldn’t recall and sat up. He looked around and found himself in the same spot by the creek. What happened? Jungkook questioned himself and remembered he was looking for you. The sun was already beginning to set casting cotton candy colored skies above him. Jungkook tried to piece together what had happened but nothing made sense.
He got up and walked away from the creek wondering what day it was. Had he been sleeping for a couple of hours? How long had it been since you disappeared?
After a mile hike the sound of crushing water caught his attention. Coming out from behind thick trees he saw a massive waterfall. The view was stunning. The eternal pastel rainbow he heard about stood above the water mists. Even while the sun settled behind the trees and darkness fell upon the waterfall the rainbow stood still.
This was it. This was where the life-saving mushroom was.
Jungkook paced his way down the river and suddenly golden flowers bloomed around his feet. In a blink of an eye, they opened radiating out fr
