Yet another two dragging days continued to pass, though I couldn't say they were that dragging. My mother was ecstatic. She kept on packing my clothes and all the necessities I would need in school since apparently, it was a boarding school. Honestly, when I knew I was going to a boarding school – I never experienced a boarding school before – I was starting to get worried. The school classes would only be for three months, the length of the entire summer break before I start my senior year. I was growing anxious in these two days, because I wouldn't be able to leave the school grounds except for on weekends. I wasn't used to living on my own, I have always had my parents fending for me. Though I know it would be a good experience for me since it would help me adjust quickly when I buy my apartment; I still couldn't help but grow worried.

What would happen to me there? It's a whole new thing, a whole new world. I didn't know if I would fit in, or if the students would accept me as one of them. I wasn't usually like this, I’m friendly and bubbly. Everyone in my previous school knew who I was, knew who my parents are. I was popular, I was loved, I was happy. I wasn't sure if the students in this school would be the same, I didn't know anything. My worry must have been clear on my face, as my mom stopped folding the ugly yellow t-shirt (I can not believe she wanted me to take it with me to the school when she clearly knows I hate it) and looked up at me.

“Why do you seem stressed?” she asked, her eyes peering at me with worry and her movement frozen. I couldn't help but scoff, despite the deadly glare I received, because wasn't it obvious? “I’m going to a whole new school with a whole new rules in the summer,” I gave her a hard pointed look because I was kind of sour about not spending my summer the way I had planned it. It's practically the only vacation I was free to do whatever I wanted – not quite because of mom – and now I would have to spend it in a magical school.

“Okay, I get that you want to spend your summer doing your usual crazy activities,” my mom started, continuing her clothes folding and organizing them neatly in my opened suitcase. “But it would be fun! You’ll meet a lot of new friends, you’ll gain more cards. You’ll definitely change your views about it,” she smiled tenderly at me, and I could smell the cheekiness behind it. I groaned unattractively, and stuffed a folded pair of jeans messily into the case, causing my mom to frown and fold it all over again.

“Before you go though, there is some essential information you need to know,” my mom spoke with a grin, closing the suitcase and placing it at the foot of my bed after literally packing every single pair of clothes I have. She sat down beside me and tapped her chin thoughtfully, while I was staring at her with growing interest.

“Okay first of all. There are five main categories the cards are divided into. Light, Water, Air, Earth and Fire. I assume your card is in the light element?” my mom looked down at me, and I nodded at her easily before she beamed at me like a five year old child.

“This is the case if your card is ranked between one to four stars. There are rumors that five ranked cards get to have their own unique powers that aren't classified under any of those categories,”

“But Baekhyun is classified under them,” I frowned at her in confusion, and she tapped my nose easily with a tender smile before she continues.

“It's alright. Most of the five ranked cards are classified under those five main categories, but some aren't,” she then leaned down to my ears and whispered with a mysterious smile that sent shivers along my spine. “I know they are rumors, but I’ve seen it with my own eyes,” she then beamed and straightened in her place.

“This is the information everyone in the Wielding society knows of, so you need to know it as well to not look stupid, or they would definitely take advantage of your lack of knowledge,” I frowned at her choice of words. It wasn't exactly my problem that I didn't know most of the things about the Wielding society because my parents didn't want me to be a part of it. I waved the thoughts away. What's done is done, and there is no use dwelling about it.

“There are rumors that some rare five ranked cards can shift their appearance into a monster of their own creation,” my mom said, though a little hesitant as she glanced at me. That definitely piqued my interest, as I found my ears perk like an overexcited puppy.

“Monsters?”

“Kind of, some says the monsters they shift into are mythical. It's all just rumors anyways,” she explained thoughtfully, her eyes staring at the wall of my adjoined bathroom. I didn't know if these were really just rumors or if they were true, but I knew it definitely made me excited. I might just ask the boys about it.

“What else do I need to know before I set off?” I asked this time, thinking that my mom was in daze for a long time now. She jumped slightly at my question, and looked at me with humorously big eyes.

“Oh,” she took a few seconds to collect herself, cough and say. “Well, most Wielders of a high rank, meaning you my daughter; have their own personal ability,”

“Ability?” my eyes widened at that, and found it absolutely ridiculous because I felt absolutely normal. But then again, I felt normal before all of this could start, and that hasn't stopped it from happening anyways. I stared at my mom with ridicule, still not digesting the information.

“Yes. It would be the exact ability that makes the cards submit to your high rank. Only five ranked Wielders possess those abilities.”

“You mean the cards can feel this ability, and that's how they know if the Wielder is worthy of submitting to!?” I wasn't that stupid, I could understand what my mother was hinting at, and found my jaw drop. Did Baekhyun and Sehun feel this magical ability my mom was speaking of in me that made them submit to me? How come I’m the only person who knows nothing about this power? I found my eyebrows furrow at the complexed thoughts running in my head, and I stared at my mom with the same anxiety. She gently smiled and patted my head softly, running her hands through my hair soothingly.

“Yeah,”

“But..” I was confused, utterly and helplessly confused. I didn't know what exactly I expected when my mom told me there would be things I needed to know, but I definitely did not expect this specific thing. All of my life I had been living as the girl I grew to become today, not even once would I have thought I would stumble upon this.

“Those powers ar
