“Hani, no,” Lisa tried to pull me away from what I just initiated, wrapping her slim fingers around my wrist and trying to pull me back. I tensed, especially with the menacing look crossing the triplets faces. The students have already scattered around to create a giant circle, where the triplets and I were standing at the center of it. Lisa kept tugging on my wrist, but after knowing what she had done to me, to Jongdae, I couldn't stare at her in the eye.

I looked backwards at my warriors, and they were all having this intense, battle-like stare in their eyes, like the real warriors they are. It annoyed me at first, seeing this look on their faces, because it reminded me of their purpose, of the reason of their creation, to only be of use to fighting battles, entertaining the humans. It bothered me that their value was equal to entertainment only, and how their feelings and emotions were neglected by both them and the humans.

“We will give you a chance to pick three of your warriors against three of ours, each of us will only pull one because we are generous like that,” Mia smirked, twirling her colored lock between her fingers and I didn't bother to turn and look at her.

“Hani, no, don't do this, you don't know how strong they can be,” Lisa tried to persuade again, but I shook her hands entirely from mine and turned to face her, a tight smile on my face.

“Listen,” I started, “This would have happened sooner or later, they’ve been hinting in wanting to fight me ever since they knew I’m a fifth ranked Wielder. There has been this silent battle between us and I think it’ll be good to settle it right now.”

“Besides,” I continued to speak before she could say anything to change my mind, this time my eyes wandering to Jongdae who stiffened immediately when my eyes landed on him. There was clear horror in his eyes because he didn't expect I would include him in the conversation, but the fear faded into a small, nervous smile when I grinned at him excitedly. “There's no way I’m going to let them go with what they’ve done to Jongdae.”

“Be careful..,” Lisa finally relented, letting out a small sigh through her nose and taking a few steps backwards so she could give me space to discuss strategies with my warriors and actually get going with the battle. I gave her a curt nod, even when she was already several steps away. I turned to my warriors, taking a peek at the triplets who were talking between themselves, deciding whom they should choose to fight against me.

“Alright, who would like to fight?” at my question, Chanyeol immediately shot his hands forward, both of them, while tucking his sketchbook under his left armpit. I shook my head at the clear enthusiasm in his eyes, and how I would never get used to the sheer excitement that spreads in his eyes and whole demeanor at the mention of a fight.

“Okay, Chanyeol. You can fight, but, are you sure you’ll be fine? I need you to be absolutely trusting in your abilities,” I gave him a strong stare, one which he mimicked with an intense smile and an equally, strong stare.

“You don't look so trusting,” Kyungsoo scoffed at me, crossing his arms. I turned to shoot him a glare, and a smirk lightened up his face. Kyungsoo liked to tease me in a completely rude way, and although it had bothered me the first several times, I already knew he was harmless, and was doing this for a reaction from my part. “How can he?”

“HANI IS JUST WORRIED!” Chanyeol scribbled with full capslock and furiously tried to shove it in Kyungsoo’s face with a determined expression. Kyungsoo waved his fingers annoyingly and I showed him a smug look. At least Chanyeol knows I mean well.

“I’ll participate too,” surprisingly, Baekhyun stepped forward, lifting a hand up. I gave him a wide-eyed look, because this was the first time he had volunteered to engross himself with battles. Before I could voice out my shock, Xiumin also stepped forward.

“And I, too. That makes three of us.”

“Are you all positive?” Joonmyeon asked before me, and I gulped and waited for their answers as well. It's not like I don't trust them (Xiumin had kickass powers and was strong physically as well, and Baekhyun looked cocky enough to seem strong) but I was worried these three girls would play dirty tricks on us, especially with Lisa’s warnings. The three nodded, two of them looking stiff while Chanyeol was dying with excitement.

“Okay,” I softly agreed, and they all shifted their attention from Joonmyeon to me, their expression softening immediately, even Baekhyun, albeit a little. “Have faith in yourselves, and you’ll be fine.”

“Lives in a pink world, this girl..,” I heard Kyungsoo murmur behind me but I blatantly ignored him, earning a scoff from him followed by a sigh.

The triplets turned to face us all of a sudden, each of them having giant smirks up on their faces that really made me worried. They are definitely hiding something, I just wish whatever it is won't harm my boys.

“We are ready, are you too?” Maia announced loudly, placing her arms on her hips, standing a little arrogantly with a dangerous gleam in her eyes. I nodded a little and then heard a loud ‘be careful, Hani!’ from behind me, the voice belonging to Lisa for sure. I blew out a breath and prayed the boys and I would be alright.

The triplets kissed their chosen cards and two girls with a guy materialized from thin air, a moss sort of color shifting around them as well. One of the girls lifted her hair into an extremely tight bun, making her eyes look more cat-like. She waved her hand around and a sword made of a thick tree trunk formed, and she wrapped her hands around it. The other girl had pink hair, with the ends of her hair dipped in flame red. She had crimson eyes, for some reason, and she looked like a magical fairy instead of a past human. The guy looked the most normal, with dark black hair and dull brown eyes. The tips of his hair was dripping with water, and I had a thought on what exactly his element was.

Before I can say anything, my boys moved accordingly and each one of them stood in front of one of the warriors, as if already knowing what their plan should be. Chanyeol stood in front of the pink-haired girl, whom her element was similar to Chanyeol’s. He cracked his fingers with a crazed smile, and flames twirled around his hands almost immediately. Baekhyun stood in front of the earth girl, the one with the sword, and a small, mocking smirk curled around his lips menacingly. Xiumin was the last to line, and he easily fell in his position in front of the water guy, and I gulped.

“Shall we start?” Mae announced loudly, crossing her arms cockily. A student stepped forward, and he happened to have a whistle hanging around his neck. He slipped the whistle inside his mouth and blew it loudly, starting the game.

In seconds, the whole garden had exploded into kicks and punches, magic streaks of colorful lights intertwined. The girl with the tree sword created a bigger, and sharper sword, the end of it wrapping around her wrist all the way to her shoulder, so she could keep it tightly in her hold and it would not slip, with how fast she was lunging forward, the peak of it gleaming from the light reflecting on its wooden blade. I’m not even sure wood could sparkle. She was lunging at Baekhyun, it seems, and Baekhyun raised his eyebrows and suddenly, there were five Baekhyun's surrounding the girl. I blinked my eyes, and there were still five Baekhyun's around.

“Baekhyun’s an illusionist,” Joonmyeon was at my side and mumbling his words in my ears. I snapped my head to him with wide eyes, and he shot me a small smile before ruffling my hair fatherly-like. “His abilities to manipulate light give him access to fracture and manipulate the images everyone can see. By now, these images are all just an illusion being pressed upon our brain, they don't really exist.”
