Eonnie,

We got back our results today. I did average, and overall, I ranked 18th out of 38 people in class, and out of the cohort I’m 126/ 260. I tried talking to Krystal again, but she glared at me. During break, I heard from the others that she cried because she got 25th.

I asked Gary how he did. He showed me his card nonchalantly.

“You failed three subjects!?” I exclaimed. He ranked 259th, by the way.

He shrugged, so I didn’t question further.

“What’s your rank?” he asked.

“126th…” I said, hoping that he doesn’t feel bad.

“Wow… smarty…” he chuckled and poked my forehead. I was a little stunned by the skin ship, but I couldn’t help but smile.

Later, my phone buzzed. I had been added to a group ‘Run baby run’. I rolled by eyes. Seriously? That’s lame. But, I got reminded of the group chat with Seo Young and Krystal. ‘BFF’. Hah. That’s lamer. We hadn’t even lasted a fraction of forever. And then there was the chat with you, mom, and dad. We hadn’t removed you from the chat. It just… you know, it feels weird. But no one talks there anymore. My chest tightened at the memories.

But thankfully, the chat was quite funny and it lightened my mood.

Suk Jin oppa: Hah. Failed 4.

Jae Suk oppa: *Throws confetti*

Suk Jin oppa: Watch your tongue, kid. I’m older than you.

Jong Kook oppa: Yeah, but you are the same grade as me (=

Suk Jin oppa: And you got kicked out of choir, you mozzie voice

Jong Kook oppa: Last warning you.

Jae Suk oppa: Why isn’t the rest talking :/

Kwang Soo: …

Kwang Soo: 1’m 200th.

Kwang Soo: Why do you guys have to be so noisy?

Jae Suk oppa: Ji Hyo!! I’m quite sure I added you!

Jae Suk oppa: Say something!

Jae Suk oppa: Don’t be shy(=

Me: Hello

Me: My cohort ranking is 126…

Jae Suk oppa: You are with Gary right?

JS: I remember you are in the same class!

Me: yeah…

JS: Get him to say something!

JS: He never says anything :/
