Eonnie,

Today, Gary stayed close to me. We didn’t really talked, but at least the class didn’t dare to tease me with Gary nearby. We stayed in class during break too. Then, he walked over to my table.

“Do you have a club now?” he asked.

“No.”

He hesitated for a moment, before saying, “You could join mine.”

“Aren’t you in the boxing club?” I blurted.

He looked at me curiously. “I was… but how did you know?”

“I…I saw you practising before,” I said, a little embarrassed to admit that I looked out for him.

He nodded. “I’m no longer inside, though. I got kicked out, you know, after that incident.”

“Ahh,” I said awkwardly.

“Now I’m in a band kind of thing.”

“Band?”

“Yeah, but we don’t really do anything. It’s just something for all those without a club…” he said, a tinge of hurt in his voice.

I stayed silent, hurt too. But I’m also touched that he thought of me.

I agreed. I need to have a club anyway…

I hope they wouldn't ostracize me...
