As far as wedding speeches go, it couldbe worse. Probably.

“Heechul,” Leeteuk hisses, right before Heechul gets up to speak, “do not tell everyone the Kim Kangin Sob Story, okay? I - I know I wasn’t supposed to read your speech, but...”

“You got Kyuhyun to hack into my computer?” Heechul slaps Leeteuk’s shoulder companionably. “Don’t worry, your . I’ve edited out all the, uh, angst. Sungmin helped with that - ”

“So did I,” Hankyung points out, sweetly.

“Yeah.” gulps. “Um.”

“First of all, your password is still ‘heebum’, so I didn’t exactly need Kyuhyun to hack anything, all right? And secondly, I’m not sure I trust Sungmin’s definition of ‘angst’ - ”

Kangin’s hand finds its way onto Leeteuk’s thigh. “Relax,” he murmurs, which is a funny thing for him to say, given that his eyes are a particularly glaring at Heechul .

What’s the opposite of cold feet? Hot feet? God, Leeteuk is totally committed to being Kangin’s hot-water bottle for life, but at this rate, the members will be in hot water. Or possibly just a pool of blood. “You relax,” he whispers back, and Kangin grits his teeth.

“Focus,” Kangin squeezes his thigh, lightly, and - fine, he’s focusing.

He’s focusing on his crotch, but still, that’s… focus, isn’t it? It counts.

Leeteuk watches Heechul.get up and clear his throat into the microphone, which squeaks, too loudly for every one, they jump as though they just got electrocuted.

“Uh,” says Heechul, and rubs his ears before unfolding the sheet of paper in his hands and staring at it. “I had a whole thing, here, about how Kangin and Leeteuk first met, and how - ” Heechul tosses the paper away. “You know what? I’ve got a better story.”

"It starts when I heard weird voices in Leeteuk's room....."

Leeteuk’s heart sinks.
