YONGBAE POV

As we were led by the youngest inside the living room, we took our seats in front of Seungri, Chansung, and JongHoon. I knew that in this moment, Seungri is going to tell us about his past. Seungri is ready to share his past with us. One part of myself was happy that the youngest finally ready to share with us. But another part of myself doubted it. Was it because Seungri felt guilty being caught by us that he finally confessed out or it was because he’s really finally able to accept us as his family?

My world of own thought was disturbed when I heard Seungri voice occupied the room, “Hyungs, as you all know, I grew up in the countryside orphanage; both JongHoon and I were dumped in front of the orphanage around the same age. Both of us grew up together. Ever since we were kids, we were always teased and bullied by other kids, mainly because we’re orphan kids. We have no parents.”

Hearing Seungri words really hurts my heart. Seungri must have been through so much. If only we know about his existence earlier... 

“At first, we would be sad and blamed God for this unfair treatment. However, through the time, we got through it together. JongHoon and I will always be there for each other.” Seungri turned to look JongHoon with understanding look in the eyes. Seeing that, I was happy to know that Seungri has JongHoon by his side, but at the same time I felt jealous at their close relationship.

“When we were about 10 years old, we met Chansung by accident. At that time, Chansung was beaten by some kids around. Both JongHoon and I saved him from those kids. Ever since that day, the three of us became close friends, and we even quote ourselves as brothers forever.” Seungri paused as he turned to look Chansung.

JongHoon sighed as he was to speak next, “The three of us were inseparable. Since Chansung has bigger body than kids of our ages, he slowly became our protectors that none dared to mess up with both Seungri and I. The three of us were really the best friends everyone envied of.”

“But through the years, Chansung started to walk away from us as he gathered with the wrong kids. Both JongHoon and I tried to pull him back to us but those bad kids influence was too strong for him that he couldn’t help but to push us away. JongHoon and I were really sad to know that we’re slowly losing our brother that we did everything to bring him back.” It was Seungri who was now speaking. “It was until that incident day happened.”

SEUNGRI POV

“Incident...?” I heard Jiyong hyung voice spoke out.

I nodded my head. “Yes, the incident in which I was sentenced for 2 years.” I admitted out. By my words, I can sense my hyungs became tensed. I know they must have been wondering all this time but they didn’t ask me. I was touched that they respect my privacy and didn’t force me for it.

“Chansungie...” Seungri approached his best friend, in hoping still be able to save his friend from the bad crowds.
