Chapter 5

Donghae, Heechul and Joohyun sat by an ice cream parlor and ate their ice cream silently while looking at the people walking by. They remembered that their parents would usually take them out for an ice cream if things don't go well with anything and this is where the twins decided to take Joohyun.

She sigh and somehow feels embarassed that her brothers know what she's feeling and what she is goight through “I know oppas, I know what you two are going to say and I’ll be okay. This is just a small crush thing and it will soon fade, if not I will make sure it does”

“It won’t be that easy, you can’t just shut him off of your life all of a sudden and you know that” Heechul looked at her meaningfully

“I know but I gotta try right? Atleast to save our friendship and it’s not like it’s the end of the world” reassuiring her brothers

“But it will get harder” Donghae turn to speak

True to her brothers words it did

“Joohyuna please, can you just call her and tell her I’ll be calling her and just wait by the phone?” he pleaded as if his life depends on it.

“Why can’t you just call her yourself?” Joohyun exasperatedly answered,

“Because her dad is strict”

“Why can’t you send her a message instead?”

“Because her phone got confiscated, if I have a way I won’t be asking you for this! Please Joohyun” she can hear the desperation of his voice on the other line

she blew a mouthful of air “Yonghwa the things I do for you really?”

And so she did, she will call Lizzy and tell her that Yonghwa will be calling and for her to just wait by the phone. After she calls Lizzy, she’ll call Yong right back and tell him to call her. If this happened once it sure did happened many more times . That was easier as compared to

“Joohyuna! Want to talk to Lizzy and me so you two can be friends??”

“Ah no? I have things to do”

“Please!”

“Why do we have to be friends?”

“So that she’ll see that I’m a good guy and you can tell her that”

“Seriously?!”

A fool that she already is, they will do a conference call. Most of the time when the two is already on the line, she’ll carefully just place the phone down and do whatever that she needs to do, every now and then she’ll check if both are still there and if they are, she’ll put the phone back down again. They don't even notice that she's not on the line. There are times when the talk gets a bit intimate and that's her cue to say goodbye.

“Uhm my parents are home, Yonghwa just call lizzy okay? Good night guys”

“Thanks Joohyun” Lizzy will say

“Thanks J your really the best”

But in reality her parents are already home and she’s just making an excuse. She thought many times why she had to do all these and it will bring her to one conclusion, because she’s a fool for him. She didn’t know when she lost herself in this situation but it feels like she’s in a hole that she can’t get out of.

“Joohyuna”

“What?”

“Joohyuna”

“What is your problem?!”

“Whoah bad day?” Yonghwa eyed her

She put her hand on her head as if to fake a headache. "My head feels heavy and I think I’m coming down with a flu" which is true but she knows it has something to do with too much stress that she has with Yonghwa. They are seating together during class and Yonghwa excused himself only to comeback with a medicine on hand for her. When the teacher left, she stood up and went by the trash can to throw away the medicine packet and sat there and cried silently to avoid eyes.

“What’s wrong Joohyun?!” Yonghwa asked alarmed when he saw her. She quickly wiped the tears in her eyes

“My head really hurts so bad” but in truth it was her heart. Yonghwa is sweet very sweet and she mistakenly fell for it. Why did she have to be so friendly with him in the first place? This is her fault and her fault alone so she plans to hide it in the deepest corner of her heart as not to burden other people. Her brothers are like walking in thin ice already and so is Jungshin, especially when Yonghwa is around.

“Joohyun you have to help me”

“For?”

Yonghwa took out a piece of paper and a pen

“Write a love letter for me?”

“Huh?!”

“Love letter, you can do it right?”

“Why am I the one to write it?”

“Because you’re good with words”

“But it should be coming from you and whatever it is that you feel there” pointing to his chest.

“I know but I can’t seem to think of anything”

Again the complete fool she is, wrote the effin love letter and by God she was the one who delivered it herself, her love letter her delivery what the is wrong with this cruel world she thought as she made her wayback to their room

“What did she say?!” Yonghwa welcomed her excitedly

“Nothing she just said thank you should I wait for her to read it? And wait for her reply? What am I a messenger?!” She blew up and walked away and headed for the rooftop leaving Yonghwa speechless. He walked back to his seat only to bumped to Jungshin who saw the scene

“Is it her time of the month?” Yong asked him and he just shook his head in reply. He went out and knew exactly where Joohyun was and found her sitting at the edge of building with feet dangling 5 stories high. He sat beside her

“You okay?”

“Yeah”

“No your not”

“Then why ask?”

“I don’t know either”

They sat there for minutes just looking at the distance, they can hear students from below running,
