“CLASS IS OVER LET’S GO SEE KIM TAEHYUNG!!!!” Hoseok yelled as he barged into the classroom after his class was done. Suga, Namjoon and Jimin were close behind.

Yujin looked up from packing her bag but said nothing.

“Where’s Jeon Jungkook?” Namjoon asked.

Yujin shrugged.

“Did he skip the whole day?” Suga asked. Jungkook wasn’t there at lunch and neither one of them questioned Yujin at the lunch table, partly because the older ones saw the blog posts on the JYP website while Namjoon and Jimin just didn’t really want to keep prying about Jungkook’s whereabouts, knowing well that the week long trial was ongoing. Jungkook had to make his own decisions.

Yujin shrugged again.

“Have you become mute like him?” Hoseok laughed.

Yujin stared at him for a while before shrugging for the fun of it.

All of them turned to Jimin, expecting him to say something to keep the ball rolling, but all he did was look away.

Namjoon smirked and tackled him. “YOU WUSS!!” he exclaimed with a loud chuckle.

Jin came in and joined them. After Yujin zipped up her bag, they left.

As they were walking out of the school compound, Suga lagged behind and fell in step with Yujin at the back of the group.

“What happened to Jungkook-ah?” he asked her.

She breathed out and slowed down her steps so that they were out of earshot from Namjoon and Jin who were in front of them. Suga followed suit and paid extra attention to her body language, sensing that she was about to talk about something serious.

“We need to do something about Jeon Jungkook’s father.”

Suga’s eyebrows creased, a little confused. “Mr Jeon? Why?”

Yujin her lips, contemplating if she should reveal the truth.

This can’t go on any more. He needs help.

“-Kang Yujin. You need to tell me what’s going on.” Suga got strict.

Yujin stopped completely. “Did you forget that Kim Taehyung is in the hospital because of Jeon Jungkook’s father?”

"Is there more to that?"

“I'm going to take that man down.”

Suga's face darkened and he grabbed onto her shoulder. "Yah, you can't just say that. I'm not going to let you do what you want just like that. This isn't someone from school where you can just swing the Min Jina card around-"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I'M JOKING?!"

Her loud volume caused the boys in front to turn back, seeing both of them a short distance away from them, staring at each other with upset expressions. Jin hurriedly jogged up to them.

“Yah.. Don’t fight. What’s wrong?”

“We’re not fighting.” Suga said under his breath. “-hyung, go ahead of me with them to the hospital. We have something important to talk about.” he said and grabbing Yujin’s wrist, he pulled her and walked ahead of the group.

Jimin glanced at Suga’s hand on Yujin’s wrist as they passed them by and bit his lips. When he looked up, he met Hoseok’s sly grin. “Wh-what??!!”

“Nothing~” Hoseok laughed and turned to Jin. “-hyung, what’s up with them both? They looked like they were about to go after someone’s head.”

Jin could only shrug. “I have no idea. Suga just asked us to head to the hospital without them.”

“Let’s.. go, then.” Namjoon urged them, as equally lost as the rest of them.

“Welcome!” Byunchan greeted. When he saw Suga and Yujin, his smile widened. “-hey!”

“Hey.” Suga spared him a smile. “-two bubble teas please.”

“Sure.” the boy keyed in their order. “-Hoseok’s not around though.”

Suga nodded. “Yeah, no problem.”

They waited for their drinks and after paying and getting them, both of them head off to find a seat. Before Yujin left, Byunchan managed to pinch her sleeve. She stopped when she felt the small tug and turned back to face him.

“Don’t.. be upset.. all the time..” Byunchan muttered. “-it’s not good for your health.”

Yujin blankly stared at him for a while because she was surprised at the sudden statement. She slowly nodded. “I’ll.. take note of that.”

Byunchan smiled stiffly before awkwardly letting go of her sleeve. “Pl-please enjoy your drink.” he grinned.

Yujin nodded again before joining Suga at the secluded corner of the shop where she always sat. Business was slow that afternoon so they had the privacy there.

“What did he say?” he asked in curiosity.

“Nothing much.”

Suga cleared his throat. “Now, getting straight to the point. What did you say just now?”

“Okay, the day we had the discipline committee, after everything was settled, I coincidentally walked pass the back of the school and I saw this man in a suit, handing over an envelop to that bastard who got Kim Taehyung beaten up.” she narrated. “-Jungkook was hiding behind the bush and when he saw me he forced me to hide as well.”

“But why?” Suga asked, not liking what he was hearing about the well dressed man handing the envelop over to the boy that beat up Taehyung.

“The man was Mr Jeon’s secretary. They were paid to beat up Kim Taehyung.” Yujin stated.

Suga’s face further darkened and his voice became deeper. “You saw it happen.” They all already knew that Taehyung was beaten up because of Jungkook's father's orders since he admitted it in the hospital but no one knew that Yujin already knew before Jungkook revealed it to them in the hospital room.

“Jeon Jungkook told me himself after that. I’m sure he’s confronted his father about it, or at least his father’s secretary.” Yujin explained. “-he’s been up and down lately.. it’s quite worrying.”

“Up and down?”

“He’s okay hanging around the guys a moment, and the next he’s avoiding them.” Yujin said. “-he came back drunk last night.”

Suga widened his eyes. “WHAT. JUNGKOOK-AH WHAT?!”

“I have no idea, he came back with me at night but I woke up in the middle of the night hearing noises from his room. I went in and smelled alcohol off his breath.”

“He’s underaged!!” Suga shouted in a whisper. “-WAYYYYYYYY bloody underaged!!”

“That’s why we have to stop whatever is going on. Before the week ends.” Yujin said. “-the one week trial he promised the others. Jungkook promised to go back to normal but so far, he hasn’t been normal at all.”

“What’s holding him back?”

Yujin sipped her bubble tea from the straw before continuing. “His father’s men are following him everywhere. That’s why he’s been holding back.”

“How long has this been going on?”

“I have no idea, but I dare assume even before the gala.” Yujin said, thinking back to the gala, the only time she had ever see
