Saeli yawned as she made her way out of their history class, where she had simply fallen asleep.
*What type of teacher starts their lecture on the first day?! AISH!*

She stretched her arms and started making her way towards the cafeteria. She passed students who stared at her and whispered things, but she just smiled at them or shrugged.
She wasn’t in the mood to deal with them for now. She wanted food, and she wanted it fast.

“Sa—Saeli!” Someone had grabbed her hand and Saeli spun around, only to be greeted by a girl with shoulder length hair and a cute eye smile.

“Yeah?” Saeli asked, not sure what the girl wanted.

“You left your notebook.” The girl handed it to her “I wanted to return it to you because you might get worried.”

“Aw, thanks.” Saeli chuckled “I can be such an oldie sometimes, forgetting stuff easily.”

The girl shook her head and laughed “Its normal. That happens to me a lot too.”

Saeli nodded “You’re in my history class….right?”

The girl nodded “Yup, I’m Jiyeon. Park Jiyeon!”

Saeli smiled back “I’m Baek Saeli, nice to meet you!”

Jiyeon smiled back happily “Do you have anyone to sit with for lunch? Wanna sit with me and one of my friends?”

Saeli thought about it for a moment and eventually nodded, realizing she didn’t want to be alone while eating. They walked towards the cafeteria, having small talk about where Saeli was from and why she had moved back to Seoul.

Once they got their food, Jiyeon lead Saeli to a table where one girl sat silently.
“Eating alone?” Jiyeon chuckled as she sat down.

The girl looked up and revealed her chubby cheeks which were also busy chewing food. Saeli couldn’t help but smile as she sat down beside Jiyeon.

“Suzy, meet Saeli. Saeli, this is Suzy.” Jiyeon mumbled.

“He—ajhfjdfj—llo.” Suzy muttered with a mouth full of food.

“Hi.” Saeli chuckled “you remind me of me.”

“Eating like you don’t care what you look like?” Jiyeon chuckled as she poked Suzy’s cheek.

Suzy then swallowed the food stuck in and smiled “When I eat, its just my food and me.”

Saeli nodded in agreement “Amen!”

Dongho entered the cafeteria with Chunji, since Taemin had lunch with one of his senior friends in college who had came to visit him.
“Are you working at the café later?” Chunji asked

“Yeah.” Dongho nodded and rolled his eyes at the girls waving at them.

Once they got their food, they sat on their usual table with other boys who were on the sport teams. Dongho ate quietly while Chunji started talking to a basketball player who was babbling about scoring baskets and winning girls hearts.

Dongho rolled his eyes and was just about to finish eating, when Chunji shook his arm and pointed at a certain direction.
“Isnt that the new girl in our homeroom?”
Dongho followed his gaze and found Saeli walking with Jiyeon and Suzy as they threw away the remains on their trays.

Dongho scoffed as he watched her smile as she said something that instantly made Jiyeon and Suzy laugh. And without warning, she had turned to look at him, making Dongho widen his eyes as he looked away.

“Drama boy?” Saeli bobbed her head to the side as she looked at Dongho’s figure, who was trying to fake a conversation with Chunji who couldn’t keep a straight face.

“Drama what?” Suzy stood beside Saeli and followed her gaze “Are you looking at Dongho?”

“That’s his name?” Saeli looked at Suzy who nodded

“Does he interest you already?” She chuckled “Almost every girl here has a thing for him.”

“Really?” Saeli laughed and looked back at Dongho who quickly avoided her gaze “Even you guys?”

“It was just for a few months.” Jiyeon defended “Every girl has a thing for the mysterious type!”

“Mysterious?” Saeli chuckled again “He’s mysterious?”

The two girls nodded as they looked back at Dongho who decided to stand up and leave the cafeteria. Saeli shook her head and smiled “I don’t buy it. Stay here guys.”

“She’s walking towards us.” Chunji whispered into Dongho’s ear as he smiled teasingly.

“Avoid her gaze, keep walk—“

“Drama boy!” Saeli grabbed Dongho’s arm and stood infront of him “I didn’t know we were in the same year.”

Dongho pulled his arm off her and cleared his throat “Don’t call me that.”

“I heard your really are popular here.” She smiled “what the heck do they call you guys? Chinchillas? Kungkas? AHHH! Kingkas!”

“Do you like having random conversations with people?” Dongho asked while raising an eyebrow at her.
Saeli simply chuckled and shook her head.
“I see we’re still pissed off about the grand entrance.” She then turned to Chunji who widen his eyes when she looked at him.

“Another Kingka, I’m guessing.” Saeli nodded “I wont waste my time with you guys, but have fun with this ‘mysterious’ image your pulling off!”

Chunji laughed then looked at Dongho who growled silently.

Once Dongho had arrived into the café he threw his bag off into the corner and started ing his shirt as he growled silently, earning the attention of his seniors around him.

“Yaa, Maknae.” Kevin chuckled and threw Dongho his shirt “You okay?”

“Fine.” Dongho nodded and took off his inner shirt and slipped into the café uniform.

“You don’t seem fine.” Eli said as he stared at himself in the mirror, checking to see if his hair was still perfect.

“Its just this thing at school.” Dongho mumbled as he wrapped his apron around his waist and looked at himself in the mirror.

“Tell us about it.” Kiseop who was wiping tables said.

Xander walked down the stairs with Soohyun and once they caught sight of everyone staring intently at Dongho who frowned as he grabbed a box of tissues and started distributing them on the tables.

“Whats up?” Xander asked, arching an eyebrow at Kevin who shrugged.

“Dongho-ah, our managers are here. Tell us about it.” AJ poked Dongho who sighed and looked up at his older friends.

“Its about a girl…” He mumbled the last part that it ended up barely audible but Kibum perked up and looked at Dongho wide eyed.

“GIRL?!” He screeched “You’re dating someone?!”

Dongho choked, accompanied by Kiseop and Hoon who stared at him wide eyed.
“No No..its not like that.” Dongho shook his head and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

“She just…” Dongho shrugged “Annoys me.”

“Ohhhhh.” Eli teased as he threw a piece of cloth at their maknae, who skillfully caught it “Our little baby has a girlfriend.”

The other boys snickered while Dongho rolled his eyes and started wiping table.
*She would be the last person I would ever date.*

Once the café opened, it was immediately flooded with people, making the boys as busy as always. Of course the café was always filled with people, almost everyone wanted to be surrounded by handsome boys serving you coffee and snacks.

“Dongho-ah, take these cupcakes to table 12.” Kevin said passing a tray at Dongho who looked around the café, and once he found table number 12 he growled finding 5 girls from his school.
He hesitantly walked towards the table, and was instantly greeted by giggles.

“Oppa~~” One girl crooned “You really look good in your uniform.”

“Do you guys need anything else?” Dongho ignored their compliments and giggles.

“What time do you get off Oppa? I have a car—“ Before the girl could finish, Dongho raised his hand, signaling her to stop.

“I have to work.” He bowed “Thank you for your orders”

“I’m hungry.” Saeli whined as she walked home “I wanna eat something.”

She swayed her hands in the air and looked around, only to find a place filled with people gathering inside and out. She stretched her head, trying to get a better view of the place.

“A café!” She beamed “I can just buy bread there and eat it on the way home!”
She smiled happily and skipped towards the café, tugging her bag with her.

Once she entered, loud chatter greeted her. People passed her delivering orders to tables and talking to the customers.
She stuck her lower lip out and made her way towards the counter, where a short haired boy with striking features smiled at her.

“How may I help you miss?” He greeted slyly.

“Uhhh.” Saeli tapped her chin silently as she looked at the menu “I’d like—“

“Dongho-ah, tell Kiseop to help you serve this platter upstairs.” Kevin told the maknae who nodded and tugged on Kiseop’s arm.

The two boys grabbed the trays and slowly made their way up the stairs.
“DONGHO, COME BACK QUICKLY ARA?” Kibum yelled.

Saeli smiled happily once she found what she had wanted, totally oblivious to her surroundings. She even droned out all the voices around her.

She looked up, and saw the boy behind the counter smiling at her. She ended up grinning back as she read his name off of his nametag.
“Uhhh, AJ-shi.” She rubbed the back of her neck “Can I have a Belgian caramel waffle? To go.”

“Right away miss.” He chuckled “That’ll be 2 dollars.”

Saeli paid him and watched as he walked towards Kevin who nodded and started pulling out the waffle from the container.
Once it was ready, AJ handed it to Saeli who swayed happily as she took it into her hands.

“Thank you.” She bowed as she stared at the paper bag in her hands and walked away.

AJ couldn’t help but chuckle and shake his head “So damn cute.”

Dongho jogged down the stairs, holding a bill in his hands. He ran towards AJ who still had a wide smile on his face.
“Let me guess, you got a hot girls number?” Dongho chuckled

AJ shook his head as he took the bill and stuck his tongue out at Dongho “No…but this really pretty and cute girl ordered something to go. You should’ve seen her. I think you would like her.”

“I doubt it.” Dongho smiled

“I wanted to see her.” Eli came out from behind Dongho and gave AJ another bill.

“No way.” AJ laughed “I want that girl to be safe.”

“YAA!” Eli hissed “I am totally safe.”

“Yeeaahhhh.” Dongho and AJ answered sarcastically, earning a growl from Eli.
