Food is good.

This isn't a Korean Drama.

Once they had arrived at Dongho’s house, Dongho immediately ran up to his room and picked up the few traces of clothes he left on the floor. He sorted out the pieces of paper on the desk he had left the night before when he was studying. He took one last look at his bed, making sure he had tidied it up and right at the exact moment, Taemin had barged in and jumped on the bed.

“I’m tired…” He mumbled and grabbed a random pillow, wrapping his hands around it, completely messing up Dongho’s bed.

“Aish.” Dongho lightly kicked his friends and walked out of his room. He walked down the stairs of his house and found Jiyeon and Chunji staring at a few picture frames hanging on the wall.

“Dongho was really chubby before.” Jiyeon smiled

“You’re one to talk!” Suzy screamed from the kitchen, filled with bacon she had found on the counter top. Saeli laughed at her friend as she looked around the kitchen.

Dongho walked into the kitchen and widened his eyes when he saw Suzy stuffing her face with bacon while Saeli was admiring the set of plates that were in the drier.

“Such weird people..” Dongho muttered and opened the fridge, scanning for whatever food they could cook.

“What do you guys wanna cook?” Dongho asked.

“Cookies!” Jiyeon beamed.

“He said food, not junk food.” Saeli said matter-of-factly

“But I want cookies too!” Suzy pouted.

“Let’s just bake cookies and cook some lunch? We separate into teams?” Chunji suggested. Saeli and the other girls nodded, making Dongho roll his eyes and start pulling out the ingredients for cookies.

Jiyeon and Suzy were mixing the batter for the cookies, while Chunji was preparing the baking pan. Once Suzy had poured the floor into the bowl, the bag had slipped out of her hands, making it land on the counter with a beautiful *poof*

Saeli who was stirring the soup snapped her head back and laughed once she saw the flour filled faces of her friends. Dongho who was busily chopping vegetables turned around and yelped when he saw Chunji’s pale white face close to his.

“Boo.” Chunji chuckled as he coughed lightly.

Dongho snickered at his friend and handed him a towel to wipe his face. Jiyeon whined angrily as she wiped her face and looked at Suzy who simply had an innocent smile on her face.

“The vegetables are done.” Dongho nudged Saeli who had finally returned to her stirring. She looked at Dongho for a few seconds and nodded.

“Put them there.” She mumbled.

Dongho then peered over her shoulder and looked at the pot which contained their lunch and smiled.
“Looks good.”

Saeli turned to him and smiled “Duh, cause I cooked it.”

“I helped!” Dongho argued, making Saeli roll her eyes.

“Yeah, you chopped up a few vegetables, congratulations.”

Dongho growled and glared at the back of her head but Saeli had suddenly turned around and faced him with a smirk.
“Care to day something to my face?”

Dongho took a few steps back and widened his eyes “Bw—Bwo?”

Saeli clicked her tongue and slammed the ladle on his chest “You continue stirring it.”

“What?! Why me?” Dongho muttered

“Look at your friends.” Saeli sighed, eyeing her group of friends who hadn’t even gone far in baking the cookies. She rolled her eyes and walked towards them, grabbing the bowl from Suzy’s hands, making her smile in approval.

“You’ll help us bake Saeli-ah?” Suzy beamed “GOMAWO!”

Saeli smiled and started mixing the ingredients properly while Jiyeon, Suzy and Chunji watched her intently. Dongho couldn’t help but smile as he watched them study what Saeli was doing as if she was performing a magic trick infront of them.

Once the food had already been cooked, Saeli ordered Suzy, Jiyeon and Chunji to clean their selves up since flour was still all over their hair. Dongho had started setting the table while Saeli pulled the pan of cookies out of the oven and smiled at the scent. She placed everything on plates and started placing them on the table where Dongho was setting down glasses for everyone to use.

“The food smells good!” A newly awakened Taemin walked down the stairs with a huge grin “Let’s eat!”
He sat down on the table and stared at the food with awe as he felt his mouth water.

He was about to grab some food when Dongho had suddenly slapped his hands away. Taemin stared at his friend, a bewildered look on his face, only to make Dongho smirk.

“You didn’t help, therefore you cant eat.” Dongho said.

“BWO?!” Taemin yelled in disbelief “Bu—But that’s unfair!”

“What’s unfair is that we worked so hard for food and all you did was sleep.” Dongho shrugged “AND MESSED UP MY BED.”

Taemin pouted and blinked at his serious friend, trying to win his heart. Dongho simply smiled as he walked in the kitchen and started making juice. Taemin then turned to Saeli who couldn’t help but smile at the look on Taemin’s face.

“Will you let me eat?” He asked

“I don’t mind.” Saeli shrugged “But the grumpy owner of the house is being a prick.”

Taemin growled and stomped his foot as he stood up and barged into the kitchen, ready to scream at his friend. At the exact moment, Jiyeon had skipped down the stairs with a grin on her face. Once her eyes had landed on the table she let out a small gasp and clapped her hands.

“It looks yummy!” She beamed.

Chunji and Suzy walked down the stairs and made their way to the table, only to jump when they heard Taemin screaming as he trailed behind Dongho who set down the pitcher of juice on the table.

“I WANNA EAT!” Taemin tugged his best friend’s sleeve and pouted.

“You’re not eating Taemin-ah?” Suzy asked

Taemin snapped his head to look at her with a cold glare “I’m eating! No matter what this meanie says!”

Jiyeon blinked at what the red head said and turned her head to Saeli who sat down with a small smile on her face.
“Dongho isn’t letting Taemin eat since Taemin didn’t help cook.”

“Well if that’s your theory Dongho.” Chunji chuckled “All of us can’t eat except Saeli.”

“Bwo?!” The chubby cheeked boy looked at his friend with a confused look.

“That is true.” Jiyeon nodded “Saeli was the one who practically cooked everything.”

“NO WAY!” Dongho screamed “I chopped vegetables.”

“That isn’t called cooking.” Taemin hissed

“I still helped!” Dongho spat

“Oh would you just sit down and let everyone eat Drama boy?” Saeli said.

Dongho looked at her with another one of his famous growls, making his group of friends snicker at how easily Saeli could shut him up. Everyone took their seats and Saeli smiled happily as she watched them grab for food.

“I bet this .” Dongho mumbled enough for Saeli to hear. He placed the spoon full of food in his mouth and sighed dramatically, only to widen his eyes after a few seconds once the food had touched his taste buds.

WOAH! This tastes really good.
He found himself taking another spoonful and smiling at the taste. Saeli rolled her eyes as she saw Dongho’s cheeks puff out as he ate silently. She then turned to Taemin and Suzy who looked like they were having a competition while eating food. Taemin was placing almost every side dish in his mouth as he feed himself rice and the food Saeli had cooked. Suzy on the other hand had filled with rice as she picked some kimchi and popped it inside too.

“Slow down you two.” Chunji laughed as he pointed at Taemin with his chopsticks “You guys might choke.”

“Leave me alone.” Taemin and Suzy had said at the same time with their mouths full of food, making Jiyeon laugh and cover .

After a few minutes, Dongho had found his plate totally empty, making him smile and rub his stomach happily. He looked up and saw that Saeli hadn’t finished eating her food because of the conversation she was having with Chunji.

I guess she really is good at cooking. Dongho puffed his cheeks out and nodded I guess I can compliment her for that….

Taemin had pushed his plate away while a large grin had plastered itself on his face as he grabbed a cookie “This is the best food I’ve ever eaten.”

Jiyeon nodded and smiled at Saeli “Saeli-ah, you’re so awesome.” She gave her friend a thumbs up, making Saeli bow happily.

Once everyone was finish eating, they had somehow forced Taemin to clean everything up, making the red head growl as he washed the dishes.
Dongho had just finished showing Jiyeon how to wipe the table, making a tint of pink appear on her cheeks. Just as he walked into the living room, he found Saeli laying on the couch, her eyes closed and her body not moving an inch.

“She’s asleep again?” Dongho spat and walked towards her. He kneeled down beside her and looked at serene face. “She doesn’t look so annoying while she’s asleep.”

He studied her features, starting from her eyes then down to her nose and finally landing her lips. He bobbed his head shocked to see that she actually had such plump and pink lips.

Out the blue, the memory of him kissing her in the school halls had suddenly flashed in his head. The moment had played in slow motion, making Dongho aware at how soft her lips felt against his.
He widened his eyes when he found how close he had actually moved to her face, making him yelp and stumble backwards, hitting his back on the glass table they had.

The loud sound immediately woke Saeli up, making her shoot her eyes open, only to be greeted by Dongho who was laying on the ground trying to ease himself of the pain he felt on his back.

“Gwenchana?” Saeli sat up and bobbed her head to the side.

Dongho looked at her and suddenly felt the heat rush into his face. He stumbled to get on his feet, tripping a few times as he decided to run up the stairs.

Jiyeon and Taemin had finally walked into the living room since it was Chunji and Suzy turn to clean up. Taemin looked at Saeli’s confused expression and made his way towards her.

“You okay?” He asked, sitting down beside her.

“I’m fine.” She nodded then looked back at the stairs “But I think something’s wrong with Dongho, I heard a loud thud and saw him run away.”

“Now you care about Dongho?” Jiyeon smiled

“Yaa.” Saeli growled “I’m not that heartless.”

“I’ll go check up on him.” Taemin smiled and stood up “Don’t worry okay?”
He patted Saeli’s head as he gave her another of his genuine smiles and immediately proceeded up the stairs.

Jiyeon sat down beside Saeli and studied her friend quietly. Saeli who was feeling uncomfortable under her friends gaze, snapped her head to the side only to see Jiyeon smiling at her.

“Whats wrong with you?” Saeli arched an eyebrow.

“I think Taemin likes you.” Jiyeon beamed “Do you like him?”

“BWO?!” Saeli choked, looking at her friend wide eyed.
