A day passed like usual but for 1 person, a new day giving her a new happiness. Blessing of life as she always said whenever people around her asking why she were cheerful everyday. 
"Good morning everyone!!" the same cheery tone greeted the people inside the room.

"Llamaa!!" a group of people rushed toward the boyish girl and jump around with her

"Shut it people, go back to work" Victoria said while shaking her head, it was good to hear the cheery voice again after missing it for few weeks.

"It's good to see you back hyung" Sulli whispered to Amber

"It's good to see you too Sull" Amber said while ruffling Sulli hair

"Yahh! How many times did I told you to stop playing with my hair" Sulli are pouting while fixing her hair

"Aigoo, you are so cute dongseng ah" Amber pinched the girl cheek gently

"Attention people" a voice breaking the silence in the room.

We have a new worker that just been transfer from the states"

"Good morning everyone, my name is Krystal Jung. I came from San Francisco, please take care of me" 

"Wooo hyung, at last. You going to have someone that came from your hometown as well" Amber only grinned on the remarks

"We need to spread your happy pills to her Am" Luna suddenly appear beside them and tap Amber shoulder

"Yeah, let's do that on lunch break" Sulli said before returning to her desk. Amber occassionally glance on Krystal in distance "Gorgeous" the word escape . As she start doing her work, she saw Krystal furrowed her brows and drummed her finger rapidly on her table. Amber unconsiously smile and slowly went to Krystal table.

"Need help?" she is flashing her signature smile to the long haired girl. At first, Krystal look a bit hesitant but knowing herself having a difficulty with the computer she decide to break the ice.

"Erm, I didn't know how to change the table for this part." Amber nod a little before leaning to the computer, she teach krystal how to change some of the format for their works.

"That is how it goes" Amber smiled after the quick tutorial, Krystal were glad that she having a friendly co-worker. Her lips curving a smile that leave Amber awestrucked.

"Thank you" the word comeout smoothly from Krystal but a shook from Amber made her confuse

"Say your thanks during lunch, have a lunch with me? I'll introduce you to the others"  Amber said happily, Krystal smile in relief

"Sounds good"

"The name is Amber, I'll see you again on lunch time"

"How are we going to invite her for lunch? She look intimidating with that eyes" Sulli said to Amber that doesn't look bothered at all as they looking for empty table for them to eat

"Wait here" she smile before returning to their office room.

"I believe you owe me some time for lunch" Amber said dorkily

"Geez Am, you scared the hell out of me" Krystal hand are on her chest, she was too immersed with her work until she forgot about the time.

"Come, they're waiting for you" Amber grab Krystal wrist making the latter a bit shocked

"Ehem, I think it's inappropriate to recklessly touching a girl" Amber turn her attention to Krystal, looking at her confusingly.

"Ohh, sorry." She slowly release her grip on the other girl before continuing

"I hate to break the news but I'm a girl too" flashing her dorky smile that starting to amuse Krystal

"Sorry about that" the younger girl said apologetically

"No worries, you're not the first" Amber chuckled and motion for Krystal to come with her.

"Hyung! where have you been?" Sulli playfully glare on the boyish girl

"Sorry Sull, let me introduce you to someone" Krystal appear next to Amber and smile shyly

"Oh! You are awesome hyung! Hello, my name is Sulli Choi but you can call me Sulli" Krystal shook hand with her and Amber introduce her to the others as well.

"You must be happy Am, finally you got someone that came from your place as well" Krystal raised her brows on Luna remarks

"You came from US too?"

"Yup, I live in LA before transferred here"

"Finally, I could talk to you English right?" Krystal said in English making the others lost in the conversation.

"Hahaha, I know that feeling Krystal. I was having a hard time when I first got here" both of them talking comfortably before someone clear their throat to get their attention.

"ehemm, both of you do realize that someone else is sitting here right?" Amber scratched her neck and smile apologetically to her friends.

That is the start of the friendship between Amber and Krystal, they become inseparable. Their closeness did gain a lot of criticism by some of the male worker as they trying hard to get the same attention from Krystal Jung.

"Krystal, do you want to have dinner with me tonight?" 1 of the male worker called Suho asked Krystal 1 day during lunch break, Amber was nowhere to be seen as she were called by the manager.

"I'm sorry Suho, I promised to Amber that we going to have dinner together" Krystal replied apologetically

"Huh, that dyke surely get more attention" Suho mumbled but it was caught by Krystal

"Excuse me?" trying to keep her calm, Krystal always hate how people been calling Amber as dyke just because she dressed differently.

"Why do you always go out with that... dyke" Suho tone were always like whisper but it snapped Krystal patience

"That girl that you'e been calling as dyke were 100 times better than most of male population in here, why would I not spend time with her?" 

"Are you being serious Krys?"

"Don't call me that" Krystal said in annoyence, she doesn't like other people using the nickname on her, Suho raise both of his hand in disbelief

"The relationship between both of you is taboo in Korea, aren't you afraid of people judgement?" Krystal were on her icy mode, her irritation had reach the limit.

"Your opinion isn't matter and for your information Suho, I'm not afraid since we're not in any romantic relationship" Krystal left as soon as she utter the words. It is true that they were not in a relationship, but deep inside Krystal she know that she wanted more than being a friend with the boyish girl. She love the attention that Amber gave to her, her randomness, her dorkiness and most of all her presence. Both of them are foreigner in Korea but when they were together, Krystal feels like home. She try to shrugged off the feeling that she having toward the older girl but the more that she try, the more she is falling for Amber charm.

"Am" Amber were currently sitting infront of her boss.

"Yes?" 

"You being too obvious"

"I don't know what you're talking about Vic" 

"Does the ice princess manage to melt you down? are you finally ready to fall in love?" Victoria were pretty excited with the news of Amber having a romantic relationship with someone

"First of all Vic, we are merely a friends. Secondly, you know that I can't" there were a tint of sadness in Amber voice

"Am, just give it a try will you? You deserve to be happy"

"I am happy Vic, I just think it will be unfair to others" 

"How long will going to stay like this? Do you need to wait until it was too late?" Victoria said in concerned

"It is.." Victoria eyes widen hearing the revealation

"No, Am.. come on, this is not a thing that you can joke around"

"Do I even look like joking around Vic?" Victoria look at the boyish girl and sigh.

"How long?" a short but meaningful question were asked

"Enough to enjoy my life" Victoria were saddened by the answer, she slowly reach Amber hand.

"Don't be so dramatic Vic, too early for that" Amber wipe the tears that about to fall
