I never expected this... *Teary eyed* 

I'll be doing my best to give you guys better chapters each time. 

“Excuse me, but my wife is experiencing stomach aches since 30 minutes ago and it’s the first time she had this and – hey! Where are you going to take her!”

The nurse in front of her raised both of her hands to calm her, she ran a while ago when she can’t find any available cab outside add to the current cold weather that worsen Krystal’s condition in her arms.

“Please calm down, she’ll be in good condition in a minute. I just need some information to help for her diagnosis”

“Uh, yes. She’s pregnant with our first. We walked nonstop earlier in the morning and she ate tons of mangoes right after we got home, then she slept on her room and then sadako came crawling to me –“ The nurse raising a brow made Amber stop and sigh, she’s tired. Her brain doesn’t function too well since Krystal told her she’s not fine and then she ran miles until a kind – hearted man offered them a lift. Her legs and arms were numb and hurting and she’s terribly worried for her.

“Please calm down”

“Sorry”

“Please take seat first. I’ll call you when everything’s fine”

“Thanks”

Amber kept on bouncing her legs up and down until she saw the same nurse came out of the emergency room. She removed her mask and flashed a smile at Amber who somehow felt relieved.

“She’s fine now, they think it was just because of too much mangoes but the doctor will come see you in a while after she’s delivered to the room”

“Thank you. Can I visit her now?”

“Sure. She’s a very lucky girl to have a husband like you… wife I mean”

Amber dismissed the statement and rushed to the door, of course she’s a nurse. She knows who is a guy and who is not.

“Hey” Amber gently spoke as she approached Krystal who gave her a faint smile.

“I told you not to eat that much right? Are you okay now?” Maintaining that one meter distance though she wanted to come closer, she asked.

“Sorry” Seeing Krystal like that broke her heart, she still prefers that killer look she always give her, not this weak, tired ones.

“Please recover and be scary again? I prefer that.” Amber pulled a chair from the side and sat.

“Why are you there?”

“Rules remember?”

“Scratch that rule now”

“Gee… Thanks”

Amber moved closer to her and immediately her hands went to her small baby bump, caressing it like it was a precious gem.

Krystal, on the other hand tensed, there was an unexplainable feeling that was brought to her with just that simple touch, she felt longing… and care. She admits they really got off the wrong foot, she judged her immediately without knowing her fully, sure she lied. But it was because of her love for her parents and even her stupid twin. She sacrificed almost everything just for her family and even for her, she was the only present all this time, even if she constantly growls and threatens her, she never left… Maybe she can give them another chance to be friends…

“You know I thought your mom was Sadako earlier”

Or maybe not…

“I thought she would kill me” Amber chuckled, but immediately shut when she noticed Krystal gripping the sheets who saw the tear that slipped from Amber’s eye.

“I was worried you know” she hastily wiped that tear off, feeling embarrassed by how these emotions affect her, she’s not even the legal parent of that child, she’s just the aunt.

“I’m getting more attached to her” Amber said in a-matter-of- factly tone.

“Thank you”

“To the baby only though, Sadly” Seeing Krystal’s reaction which immediately turned from appreciative to I-want-to-kill-you-now made her suppress a laugh.

“The moment I get out of here, I swear your life would be hell”

“Isn’t it not?”

“Yah!”

“Oh… Sadako Jung is back”

“Seriously Liu I – “

“Krystal!” Both of their heads snapped to the direction of the voice, seeing Tiffany banging the door open followed by Taeyeon who was wearing an improperly buttoned white longlseeves and back skinny jeans with hair tousled same with the other who just wore a loose shirt and denim shorts.

“How’s Krystal?” Taeyeon worriedly her sister’s hair.

“Too much mangoes”

“Mangoes?”

“Yeah, she ate tons of them and turned to Sadako an hour later”

“What’s with you and Sadako?”

“Well that was the horror character that made her into a scared puppy and not be able to sleep right for weeks” Tiffany giggled.

“Should I live to that unnie?” Krystal playfully glanced at Taeyeon, a plan embedded to her brain in an instant.

“what did you guys do anyway?“ It was Amber’s turn to tease and her eyes didn’t fail to see the sudden flush in Tiffany’s face

“Tiffany made me drink hard liquor and forced me to dance with her… now my head aches like hell”

“I din’t know you’re an alcohol intolerant”

“I swear you just tried to me”

“Wha - ? why would I do that?”

“You forgot your bed playlist on until I woke up!”

“You’re so full of yourself Kim Taeyeon! You puked on me!”

“Good for you”

Come here!”

“Uh – can you please continue outside?” Amber spoke softly since she knows how Tiffany is when she’s angry.

The two followed suit, exchanging glares at each other. Leaving Amber and Krystal laughing together.

“I’ll get you food and a couple of clothes okay?”

“Thank you… and I would like to apologize.”

“For what?”

“For my attitude. I think we got off the wrong foor…say, should we start over? I’m Krytal Jung” Krystal extended her hand a sincere smile seen on her face.

“Sure. I’m Amber Liu”

“Friends?”

“Friends.”
