“Wow this is good”

“You’ve eaten 8 mangoes already, I think you should stop and take a rest now Krys” Amber stood exactly a meter away from Krystal, somehow she already managed to calculate the right distance between them mentally that her body knows when to stop and go.

She spent almost a whole day trailing behind Krystal as the latter walked and walked, constantly buying food and mangoes, and when she say mangoes, different kinds of it. Mango shake, cake, ice cream and the kind, which she all stored inside the refrigerator. This time, she’s finishing her eighth mango fruit, quite alarming Amber.

“Shut up stupid. Give me water”

Amber sighed in defeat, moving over the counter to get a glass, filling it with water, she placed it on the table and used a stick to move it closer to Krystal.

Krystal finished it in one gulp and rubbed her belly right after, a scene that made Amber’s heart skip a beat.

“I’m full. Are you baby?” Krystal saw the small smile and those longing eyes from the other person but she immediately shook off any feeling that she was about to feel.

“I’m going to sleep stupid. Remember the rules”

“What rule?”

“The 13^th rule, I’ll never hesitate to lay my hands on that next time she hits on you”

“She’s just being friendly Krys”

“Really? Looking at you like she wanted to eat you alive is being friendly huh? Talk to my hand Liu, You wanted to play as your brother so get the consequences” Krystal never forgot to leave a deadly glare before she stomped her feet back to her room.

Amber sighed in defeat and quietly cleaned the table both on the dining and kitchen, sometimes she asks herself why she needs to these things for someone else but still…

She sat on the couch, contemplating whether to give Seulgi a call or not, she’s sure it’s already morning in there and she can’t be busy.

“Hello?” She smiled when she heard Seulgi’s voice on the other line.

“Hey, Seul. It’s me amber”

“Yeah. What’s up?”

“Just checking on you. Woke up early?”

“Uh… Actually I got no sleep. Me and Irene have been doing the draft since yesterday”

“Are you okay? I think you should get some sleep.”

“Nah, I’m fine. Irene’s cooking anyway. I need to go now, She’s calling me.”

“Oh, Okay. Talk to you sometime?”

“Sure. Bye ber”

“Bye Seul”

And she hung up.

Then and there Amber knew that she’s gone, but there’s a part of her that urges her to give it a last shot and she’ll be doing it right after this hellish so called honeymoon.

Yawning, Amber stretched and dragged herself to the couch, somehow she bought mattresses so she’ll not curl up in the cold. She pulled the blankets and closed her eyes but in another minute or so, she felt another presence coming near her.

“Oh god please, if Sadako’s gonna kill me now atleast don’t makeit too brutal”

“ she’s near, I hope her head’s not rotated 360 degrees”

“Oh good lord, she just reached my mattress”

“Will she dug my eyes out?”

“No please don’t strip off my – “

“Krystal?”

There she saw Krystal curled behind her, pale, sweating, grasping her shirt and pain written all over her face.

“Are you okay?” Panic started to seep in into Amber’s whole mind.

“My… tummy – hurts… so much…”

“Oh my god,  is little Amber gonna come out? Should I get the keys? Carry you? Water? Basin? Umbilical cord? Wait, what am I even saying? Oh god Krys I should – “

“I’m not giving birth stupid”

And then her stupid reaction hit her. Right, someone who is just few months pregnant cannot give birth this early and the baby is definitely not little Amber.

“Then don’t tell me that he’s..she’s…he’s… what’s the gender anyway? Forget it. Are you having miscarriage? I’ll bring you to the hospital now.” Amber was literally jumping up and down, running to and fro trying to find the keys which she definitely doesn’t have. She smacked her head and dialed Tiffany’s number on her phone.

“Hwang speaking”

“Uh…”

“Tippany! Come back here” That was Taeyeon’s voice…

“Uh… yeah. Uh…”

“Stupid!” Amber flinched and tried finding the words she need to say.

“I’m not disturbing right? I’m going to bring Krystal to the hospital she’s having tummy aches.”

“What?! Wait I’ll put on my underwear… you don’t really have to hear that. See you later bye”

 Amber sighed and rushed to Krystal, carrying her bridal style.

“We’re going to get there baby, You’ll be fine” And she unconsciously kissed Krystal’s forehead.
