It was really early in the morning. Taeyeon was sitting right beside you, watching you sleep. She was also scared about the surgery, the thought of losing you terrified her. No matter how old you grow, you’ll always be her little baby. The same tiny girl that used to get really excited every time she went to the orphanage and wanted to spend every single minute of the day right beside her. She smiled, remembering those days. She kissed your forehead just as Yoona walked in. She sat down beside Taeyeon and side hugged her, Taeyeon rested her head on Yoona’s shoulder.

“Everything’s almost ready, they’ll come get her soon.” Yoona whispered and Taeyeon nodded. You stirred, opening your eyes and blinking a few times. They looked at you, smiling. You noticed them there.

“That’s creepy.” You said, sitting up while looking at them suspiciously.

“What is?” Yoona asked.

“You watching me sleep. It’s really creepy, mom.” You said and they chuckled.

The doctor went to your room a while later.

“It’s time.” Your doctor said and you nodded. Taeyeon hugged you, kissing your head. You hugged her back.

“I’ll see you in a bit, okay?” She said and you nodded. She kissed your head one more time and parted the hug. You looked at Yoona.

“I’m going with you.” She said, caressing your cheek. You smiled and nodded again.

They took you to the O.R. and prepared all the machines around you. You looked terrified so Yoona held your hand, you turned to her.

“I’m here, don’t worry. Everything will be okay.” She said, caressing your hand.

Once they put you under, Yoona had to leave. She can’t stay there since you’re her daughter. She went back to your room. Taeyeon was there trying to work so she wouldn’t think about the surgery too much. Yoona sat down beside her, she wrapped her arm around Taeyeon’s shoulder and watched her work. Taeyeon kissed her cheek and she smiled.

The door to your room opened and they both looked at it. Amber was there with a bouquet in her hand.

“Good morning, is ___ in surgery already?” She asked and they nodded. “Can I wait here?” She asked and they smiled.

“Of course, come in.” Yoona said, standing up.

“I don’t know which ones are her favorite so I just picked these.” Amber said, giving the bouquet to Yoona.

“I don’t know either.” Yoona said, placing the flowers in a vase. “Tae?”

“No idea, we’ll have to ask her.” Taeyeon said and they all chuckled. “Does your dad know you’re here?” Taeyeon asked Amber.

“Yes, I asked him if I could be here today.” Amber said, sitting with them. They all talked while waiting for your surgery to be over.

Skip the surgery, I’m not good with medical terms. ^^

A couple of hours later, your doctor went to your room. Taeyeon and Yoona stood up as soon as he walked in. He told them that you were fine and explained everything they did. Amber who was still sitting there sighed in relief. Yoona went closer to her and ruffled her hair, she smiled.  

They brought you back to the room once you woke up. When you went in they all smiled, you waved your hand. They placed your bed properly and then your moms approached you.

“Hi baby, how are you feeling?” Taeyeon said as they both hugged you.

“I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck.” You whispered, your mouth was dry. “But I’m okay” You smiled. You tried to sit up.

“No, baby. You have to lie down.” Yoona said, caressing your head. She gave you some water. You drank a bit and looked around.

“You got me flowers?” You whispered.

“No, we didn’t.” Taeyeon said smiling, they moved aside and you saw Amber. You both smiled and she stood up.

“Hey…” She said, holding your hand.

“Hi…” You whispered back.

“We’ll be outside, your aunts want to know how the surgery went.” Taeyeon said, you nodded and they left. Amber sat down on the chair right beside your bed, she was still holding your hand.

“Amber is so nice to her.” Taeyeon said, once they were outside.

“She is. I’m really glad she has someone with her. I never expected that Krystal would act like that.” Yoona said, sadly.
