Not My Choice Part 1

Silence

"Hey, have you decide about tomorrow?
Lunch or dinner?"

Jimin gulped his saliva as he reread the message he just received. Truth be told, he don't really look forward to go out with Yoongi. Not that he did not enjoy the other's company, but because he had to make up lies to Jungkook if he want to out tomorrow. He sighed slowly, glancing at Jungkook beside him, whose eyes were fixed on Toothless at the screen of his laptop.

"Erm, about that.
Can we not go out?"

Jimin pressed the send button and sighed, before he tried to focus on the dragon battle scene on the screen. Not long after, he felt a soft vibration coming from his handphone.

"So, no dinner then?
How about lunch?"

Jimin shook his head, before he replied.

"Well, what I mean is we are not going out tomorrow."

Jimin put the phone away, and kept on watching the movie with Jungkook until it was finished. Yawning, he glanced at the watch. It was almost midnight, and he was not up for another movie since he felt sleepy already. He took his phone and signaled 'good night' to Jungkook before he went out and into his room. He wanted to set up the alarm on his phone when he noticed the unread message.

"Oh...Okay then.
Lunch it is.
Wear something nice. I'll pick you up at 10."

Jimin rolled his eyes. 'This guy sure is trying hard.' He thought, putting the phone on the night stand before he lie down on the bed and soon enough fell asleep.

**********

Jimin felt a soft nudge on his left shoulder. He just grunted slowly before he brushed the hands off his shoulder. A soft chuckle followed after, and Jimin recognized the voice very well. He just signaled '5 more minutes' to his mother, before he heard his mom said something that made him sat up straight.

"There's a boy outside your room, who keeps on calling your name and throwing pebbles at every window we have up here." His mom chuckled, looking at Jimin.

"Really? Oh my God! What time is it? Where's Jungkook?" Jimin asked, as he looked around in panic, trying to find his phone.

"Jungkook is out, and it is almost 11." His mom said, looking at the flustered Jimin and gave Jimin his phone. "Finding this?" His mom smiled playfully, before she got up and went out. Jimin took the phone and fumbled through it, finding three new messages.

"I'm going over to your house.
See you."

"I'm outside, won't you come and get me?
Or you want me to come and get you???"

"Jimin, don't you want to see me?"

Jimin get off the bed quickly and rushed to the window. There in front of his house, stood a boy in checkered blue and red shirt, with a denim skinny jeans and a beanie. Jimin waved towards the other, before he went back in and rushed himself to the toilet to take a very quick shower and brushing his teeth. He was ready in a few minutes, and he just took some random clothes from his wardrobe and wear them.

Glancing to the mirror one last time, he sprayed some perfume on his body and rushed out his room, walking straight downstairs, only to meet Yoongi and his mother talking to each other on the living room.

"Oh hi Jimin. That is fast. I guess I don't want to bother you both. Please have a nice day, and don't come back too late." Mrs. Jeon said, more to Yoongi than Jimin. She gave a soft smile at Jimin, clearly happy that he had another friend beside Jungkook though he was surprised when the boy first came to knock the door just now.

Jimin nodded, before he took Yoongi's hands and dragged him out the house. He let the other's hands go as soon as they were out of the door, scolding Yoongi with the sign language. Yoongi frowned, and interrupted Jimin.

"Hey, wait up. I don't learn sign language yet, okay? Can you type what you want to say as usual?" Yoongi said, taking his phone and handed it to Jimin, who was huffing and pouting.

"Didn't I told you I don't want to go out today?" Jimin typed, a little harsh.

"Um...But I don't seem to see any problems though." Yoongi frowned, looking at Jimin, clearly confused. Jimin sighed as he began to type on the phone.

"Well, what will Jungkook say if he knew I was going out with you?" Jimin retorted, looking at Yoongi.

"Well, that's not a problem. I don't see why Jungkook won't be happy if you are happy going out with me. Besides, I don't understand why are you being difficult." Yoongi said as his voice rose a few note high. He don't want to argue with Jimin; not when he was planning and looking forward on having wonderful day with Jimin. Without letting Jimin having the chance to reply him, he took Jimin's arm and dragged Jimin into his car.

"I'm sorry. Let's go and eat. I have something very important things to do with you today, so I don't have time to argue. Whatever it is, you are already out, and Jungkook isn't home either." Yoongi snapped. He revved the car, and started to drive to his favourite noodle stall. They stayed silent in the car, as Yoongi focused on the road while driving, and Jimin still pouting, though he took this moment to look into Yoongi's phone.

He was a little bit surprised to see how many messages Yoongi left unreplied, mostly coming from girls saying that they had fall head over heels at Yoongi. Jimin smiled over the messages he'd read.

"What are you smiling at?" Yoongi asked, still not looking at Jimin. Jimin just shook his head, and put the phone on his lap.

After another moment of silent, finally Yoongi parked his car right in front of a shabby looking stall, before he went out. Jimin looked around, a little bit puzzled before he too went out.

"This is my favourite place. This Auntie's noodles is the best!" Yoongi said, smiling at Jimin as Jimin looked at the stall in front of him. It looks small, and a little old and shabby. Jimin quickly followed Yoongi as he entered the stall, when they were greeted by a plump, motherly looking aunt.

"Yoongi, what a surprise. It's been some time since you came here. We miss you!" The aunt said, before she hugged Yoongi tight as Yoongi smiled bashfully. She released Yoongi from her grip and turned towards Jimin.

"Your boyfriend?" The aunt asked, making Jimin flinched at her sudden question.

"Not yet, aunt. His name is Jimin, and he can't talk. But he is a really kind boy." Yoongi said, smiling at Jimin, before he looked at the aunt and took her hand. They walked hand in hand towards one of the table while talking together, with Jimin silently following beside Yoongi.

"How are you aunt? You look happy. Did you eat well?" Yoongi asked politely.

"Oh, Yoongi. You know I am a noodle maker. Of course I ate everyday. It is I that should ask you that question. Don't work too hard Yoongi-ah. Jimin, please look over my child." The aunt said, before she asked them to sit down and went away after taking their order. Yoongi then looked at Jimin, and couldn't help but chuckled when he saw how awkward Jimin was.

"Hey, relax." Yoongi said, smiling.

"You seemed to know the aunt." Jimin typed, and flashed it to Yoongi.

"Yeah. I used to live here, you know. When I was small. I am close to the aunt because usually I came here after school everyday to eat the noodles. I really like it." Yoongi said, giving Jimin the sweetest eyesmiles. Jimin just nodded and scanned the stall. Form inside, the stall doesn't look so bad. It was fine, decorated with a few pots of flowers at each corner and it was definitely very clean.

"Jimin, if I ask you something, can you please tell me the truth?" Yoongi asked, looking at Jimin with the most sincere eyes, making Jimin blushed a little as he tried to avoid their gaze from meeting together. Jimin just nodded, giving Yoongi permission to continue.

"I felt like you didn't really told me the truth about why are you being a mute." Yoongi said, looking at Jimin hopefully.

"Oh that again? Why do you want to know so much about it anyway?" Jimin replied.

"You don't want to tell me?" Yoongi asked, to which Jimin immediately shook his head. Yoongi sighed and muttered a soft "Okay" before he slumped down against the chair, and pouted a little. Silence began to fill the air again, before the waiter finally came with two bowls of noodles, to which Yoongi just took it and eat it up, without acknowledging Jimin. Jimin looked at Yoongi awkwardly as the guilt started to surface. He took the noodle that just arrived and slowly he took a sip of the soup; eyes still looking at Yoongi when he felt a burning sensation on his lips. He dropped the spoon and hissed, before he took the water and gulped it, trying to ease the pain.

Yoongi looked at Jimin in shock, before he let out a few chuckles.

"Be careful okay? What were you thinking, shoving the hot soup down your throat like that?" Yoongi said, before he took his bowl of noodle and slide it across the table, before he himself stood up and moved towards Jimin, and plopped down beside Jimin. Jimin gave him a peculiar look, and he just took his noodle and eat it.

"Stop looking at me, or else your face will become warmer than the soup." Yoongi remarked, making Jimin quickly turned his face towards the soup in embarrassment and ate the noodle without glancing towards Yoongi again.

As soon as they finished eating, Yoongi went to pay for the noodles and got caught up with the aunt when a small cute girl greeted Jimin.

"Oppa, are you Yoongi oppa's boyfriend?" The girl asked, to which Jimin smiled and shook his head.

"I see. But Yoongi oppa seemed to like you. A loooottttt!" The girl made a gesture of what Jimin understand as 'a lot' and she smiled back at Jimin. Jimin couldn't help but chuckles a little, then she came and hugged Jimin.

"Yoongi oppa never bring someone here before. I hope you come again soon. I like you a lootttt toooo!" The girl exclaimed, making Jimin smiled wider. Jimin signalled 'I like you too'  to the girl, to which surprisingly the girl nodded.

"Oppa, you cannot talk?" The girl said, her expression saddened. She then pulled Jimin's hand and Jimin just leaned forward until Jimin's face was the same level with the girl, and the girl touched Jimin's neck.

"Are you sick? I hope that you will get well soon, because I like this oppa a lot, and I want this oppa to talk to me when he come again soon." The girl said cheerfully, tapping softly to Jimin's neck as if she was talking to his neck and not to Jimin himself. Jimin mouthed the word 'thank you', before suddenly the girl was lifted upwards by Yongi.

"Soo Ri, did you bother this oppa here?" The girl just shook her head cutely and hugged Yoongi lovingly.

"Oppa, next time you must come again and play, and bring this oppa here too, okay?" Soo Ri exclaimed, smiling as she pulled out her pinky finger to Yoongi. Yoongi chuckled and put his pinky finger out and intertwined his finger with the girl, and pecked the girl's nose.

"Okay, dear. Next time, you have to come and eat with oppa too, okay?" Yoongi said, to which the girl nodded before Yoongi put her down.

"I'll see all of you soon. I'll come again!" Yoongi said, waving to the girl and the aunt, before he took Jimin's arms and went out of the stall. He glanced towards his watch, and frowned a little.

"Come, I have a surprise for you." Yoongi said, before he led the puzzled Jimin back to his car, letting Jimin in before he went to the driver's seat and get in, and quickly revved the engine and drove away.

Chapter 32: I probably shouldn't have read the extra chapter. I'm back to disliking Yoongi XD But seriously, Yoongi should understand Jiminnie a little better! What's more important to him: job or Jiminnie? The answer is obvious. But I'm sure that from now on Yoongi won't make the same mistake again! ^o^ thanks for the extra chapter!

Chapter 31: Wait, Yoongi proposed to Jimin? Weren't they already engaged at the beginning of the chapter though? XD
Oh my God, Suga and his swag XDD it was so funny hahaha I'm very glad that everything ended happily! As much as I adored all the pairings, Yoonmin was my favourite one, even if I didn't like Yoongi at the beginning :3 he makes Jimin happy, so I think he's not that bad after all haha
You wrote a nice story here! ^^

Chapter 28: Wait... When Yoongi and Jimin got together? Did I skip some chapters? O.o Not long before Jimin was quite reluctant and a little cold when it came to Suga, and now they confess their love to each other? Oww, I wanted to see them getting together. I wonder if Suga was cheesy when asking Chimchim to be his boyfriend haha
I really really really hope that Jimin will be okay T^T

Chapter 27: Seunggi threatened Jimin with a knife on his throat and expects from him to not be scared? What the hell? XD When he tipped the straw hat I couldn't hold back a snicker leaving my mouth. After he said that he was a gardener, I imagined him as a Scarecrow haha
