Today, Wendy is excited. 

 

Not only because she woke up with her girlfriend next to her, also because she is about see her friends’ faces once again.

 

 

She energetically makes breakfast and feeds Ginger.

 

And goes back to her bed.

 

 

Although Irene is known as a light sleeper, she seems to be soundly asleep now.

 

Wendy tenderly uses her index finger to fix the messy pink tips.

 

 

The dye is going off. So does hers.

 

 

Creepy it might sounds, Wendy finds watching Irene sleep quite enjoyable.

 

Like her heart is filled.

 

 

Irene has extraordinarily long eyelashes.

 

She has the fairest skin.

 

She has rosy cheeks.

 

She has kissable lips though they aren’t that plump.

 

 

With the delicate sunray illuminating on her, it makes her even more heavenly.

 

Wendy lets out a soft chuckle, knowing that even the Sun is on her girlfriend's side.

 

 

And she thinks she will never get bored by looking at this human-being.

 

Since she has been looking all the morning.

 

Every inch of her face, back and forth, left to right.

 

Still not enough.

 

 

Until those super long eyelashes starts shivering.

 

 

She leisurely opens her eyes and immediately sees her girlfriend spacing out.

 

 

“Hey.” She calls in a slothful tone.

 

 

“Eh…Good morning ~” Wendy cheerful replies.

 

“When did you wake up ? How long have you been sitting here ?” Irene yawns a bit while sitting up.

 

“I don’t know. Long enough for me to cook breakfast and examine your face for a thousand times.”

 

“You’re weird.” Irene smiles and rubs her sleepy eyes.

 

“Ain’t this all people do when they’re in love ?” Wendy adorably asks.

 

“Only if they have the leisure to.”

 

 

“I have. I can go to work whenever I want.” Wendy proudly raises her chin.

 

“Araso, you’re the boss ~” Irene kicks the blanket away and prepares to get off from bed.

 

“You don’t have schedule today either.” Wendy stands up and steps aside.

 

“How did you know ?” 

 

“Sooyoung.” 

 

 

“You traded it with food ?” Irene laughs and walks to the bathroom.

 

“No. Tips of getting a girl.” Wendy shadows her cabbage like a child.

 

“You’re kidding me. You have tons of experience ?” Irene asks with her lips puckered a bit.

 

“NO !!! Just because I am able to get a perfect girlfriend and I did in one hit.” Wendy anxiously explains and pouts harder.

 

“You’re really weird.” Irene smiles to herself and closes the door on Wendy’s face.

 

 

 

 

 

 

*At Taeyeon’s studio*

 

 

Joy is not joyful even though she is meeting Wendy today.

 

It’s because Seulgi’s rigidness has not been improved much.

 

 

The mature 18-year-old can understand why her girlfriend doesn’t often hold her hands or have any skin-ship with her, since Koreans are conservative towards homouality. 

 

However, she can’t stand her not being that keen on showing her fondness. 

 

She isn’t asking for much, just words or little gifts are enough.

 

 

 

Joy has minimized her contact with Seulgi. 

 

She even refuses to work at the same space with her.

 

For example, when the bear is faxing documents, the giant baby would flee to the storage room sorting files.

 

 

Thus, here comes the omniscient Taeyeon.

 

 

She grabs the bear to the shooting area and does some lecture.

 

 

“Do you know what’s wrong with Joy ?” Taeyeon mutters.

 

“She is mad at me, again.” Seulgi is in low-spirited too.

 

“You know what, ‘cause you’ve failed to recognize her feelings again. Wendy told me how you two got together. Basically the same thing.”

 

“She’s my girlfriend now….. But what can I do except telling her I love her ? I can’t keep saying that everyday.”

 

“Show that you care for her, that she is important in your life. In your own way. I know you’re not a fan of skin-ship, so…..” Taeyeon finally realizes how sluggish the bear could be.

 

“I-I ….”

 

 

 

“What are you two doing here ?” 

 

 

 

Fortunately, it’s Wendy.

 

And Irene, of course.

 

 

“Having some lecture for your friend.” Taeyeon massages her temples.

 

“Stupid bear, I told you to take care of Joy !” Wendy pokes Seulgi’s temple.

 

“Wendy-ah, I’m sure that she doesn’t mean to.” Irene holds her Olaf’s hand.

 

“Look, this is what couple should be.” Taeyeon spread her arms.

 

 

“Seulgi-ah~~~ My dearest buddy. You can’t assume that Joy knows you love her. Also, even she does, relationships are meant to be maintained, by both sides.” Wendy side-hugs Seulgi.

 

She is confident to say such things since her girlfriend is a very insecure one.

 

 

“I’m glad that I have you guys. And Wendy-ah, I miss you so much.” Seulgi shyly smiles.

 

“Me too.” 

 

“As long as you have sorted things out. Now go. I bet Joy is waiting.” Taeyeon grins.

 

 

Seulgi uses her slender legs running for the giant baby again.

 

 

Then, Wendy turns to Taeyeon and smirks.

 

“Did you have a great night with Jessica-unnie ?”

 

 

“Holy mother of god, what’s in that corrupted mind of yours ?” Taeyeon gasps.

 

“I mean are you two official now ? It’s yours that is corrupted, not mine. ert.” Wendy rolls her eyes.

 

“I’m curious too ~” Irene slyly grins.

 

“Hey, there’re two of you….. 2 to 1, it’s not fair !”

 

“Answer my question or you’ll never see her again.” Wendy moves closer to Tae.

 

“Okay, okay ….. Yes, we are official now.” Tae surrenders.

 

“That’s great.” Wendy high-fives Irene.

 

 

“How about you two ?” Taeyeon asks back.

 

“We have been together for a month, unnie.” Wendy plainly replies.

 

“I mean, you two were together at my house last night.” Taeyeon shows her signature smirk.

 

“Same as you.” Wendy defends and hides her blush.

 

And Irene buries her tiny face with one hand, and fans herself with the other.

 

 

“Fine. It’s a tie for us.” Taeyeon shrugs.

 

“Anyway, I miss you too. Byuntae ~~~” Wendy enthusiastically hugs her unnie.

 

“Yeah, you kid.” Taeyeon hugs her back.

 

“So you guys are throwing a welcoming party for me ?” Wendy pulls away.

 

“Yup, it’s her idea.” Tae points at Irene with her chin.

 

“Yes. At here. Tonight.” Irene does a peace-sign.

 

“Thanks~~ You two ~~” Wendy hugs them both.

 

“Sera and your mom are coming too right ?” Tae asks.

 

“Oh that…. Let me text ’em first.”

 

 

The three continue their catching-up session.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*On Joy’s side*

 

 

Joy is sulking on a park bench, alone.

 

 

She watches people come and go. 

 

Some are children with their parents.

 

Some are couples.

 

 

She grumpily stomps the fallen leaves.

 

Letting out her frustration.

 

She feels less intimate with Seulgi after they start “dating”.

 

There aren’t much differences when they were good friends.

 

 

She awaits.

 

And something wet falls on her head.

 

 

Joy shrieks in fear that it might be bird’s droppings.

 

But when she tries to wipe it away, it isn’t.

 

 

It’s a snowflake.

 

It melts in Joy’s palm.

 

 

It’s the first snow this year.

 

 

It annoys Joy even more.

 

Since the first snow is supposed to be romantic.

 

And she ends up being alone at the park.

 

 

 

More snow. 

 

 

 

The others go for shelter.

 

 

And Joy sits still, feeling the snowflakes piling up around her.

 

 

Abruptly, she can’t feel the icy crystalloids landing on her.

 

 

She looks up.

 

 

 

An umbrella above her head.

 

And the face she’s loving and hating at the same time.

 

 

 

“Go away.” Joy is colder than the weather.

 

“I won’t.” Seulgi sits beside her giant baby.

 

“I hate you.” 

 

“I love you.” The bear suddenly becomes so thick-skinned.

 

“I don’t see that.” Joy turns away.

 

“I’m sorry, Sooyoung-ah. I’ll do better from now on, I promise.” Seulgi scoots closer.

 

“How ?” Joy moves away in return.

 

 

Seulgi throws away the umbrella.

 

She gently holds Joy’s hands in hers.

 

 

And starts singing from nowhere. 

 

 

“You'd always ask me,

“Why do you never say i love you,

Do you really love me?”

 

But you know,

I want to do something more sweeter,

I want to make it unforgettable,

I am going to confess to you like those lovers from the movies.”

 

 

Strangely, Seulgi is more convinced when it comes to singing or performing.

 

 

She doesn’t know how to express her feelings until she recalls this song from Wonder Girls.

 

It was a hit when it first came out.

 

She practiced it with her friends in karaoke room but haven’t get the chance to sing it.

 

 

Now, she has.

 

A flawless timing.

 

 

Singing to her girlfriend in the first snow.

 

 

Joy doesn’t expect her ineloquent unnie would sing to her in public.

 

Her already-round eyes widen to an extent that they would pop out any second.

 

And she is completely stunned.

 

 

“I've waited for the white snow,

And now I'm telling you those words I've been holding back.

Seulgi’s cat eyes have never left Joy.

 

 

It is the first time that the joyful 18-year-old does not have any expressions on her cute face.

 

 

If Seulgi has to choose, she would like to see her big smiling face any day, anytime.

 

 

Seulgi brushes the snowflakes off from Joy’s shoulders and hair.

 

And puts on a charming smile.

 

 

“Sooyoung-ah, I promise. I mean every word I sang.” 

 

 

Joy is speechless.

 

She just stares at her now-girlfriend unnie that she has been having a crush on for a few years and wraps her long arms around her.

 

 

“I’m so sorry that I was careless to your feelings. I should have done more things for you.” Seulgi doesn’t mind Joy is nearly choking her with her tight embrace.

 

“Thank you, thank you…… This is so wonderful….and unforgettable…. Today is the best day in my life beside the day you confessed to me and my sister got discharged from hospital.” Joy weeps on the bear’s shoulder.

 

“Anything for you. Now, promise me that you won’t run away from me again. Tell me if I am lacking. I-I’m afraid that you won’t….. come back someday.” Seulgi’s voice seldom trembles. 

 

“I promise.” Joy breaks the hug and says the words to Seulgi’s face.

 

 

A random thought hits Seulgi.

 

And she doesn’t mind carrying it out since no one is around.

 

She pulls down her red scarf and plants a soft kiss on the younger girl’s forehand.

 

 

 

The warmth emitted from Seulgi’s lips sends a tingling feel to Joy’s exposed-in-cold skin.

 

 

 

Before Joy could further react, the bear aims for the lips. A quick peck.

 

 

 

It is their first kiss.

 

 

 

Joy is crazily blushed, so does the culprit.

 

None of them could say anything.

 

 

 

As the older girl, Seulgi stands up first and pulls Joy to follow suit.

 

“Let’s go now. Wendy is waiting for us.”

 

Joy hides her face with her hair and nods.

 

 

 

The young couple strolls in snow linking arms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

*At Hyuna’s place*

 

 

Hyuna has gone for work early in the morning.

 

She left a simply note for her guest.

 

 

“I have food in the fridge. Re-heat them if you’re hungry. I’ll be back in the afternoon.”

 

 

Sera, who woke up at noon, sighs and eats the breakfast made by Hyuna earlier.

 

 

She immerses herself into her own reminiscence.

 

 

How she was once together with the redhead.

 

How they spent the youth sticking like glue.

 

How they separated all of the sudden.

 

 

Moya’s touch on her bare feet reminds she’s now back at Hyuna’s house.

 

Hoya meows at the strange-looking white substance falling down.

 

 

“Oh, first snow……” Sera mumbles to herself looking out from the window.

 

 

What a coincidence.

 

Is it a hint for her ?

 

 

Sera goes back to the kitchen and boils some water.

 

One of her forte is making coffee.

 

 

Then she takes out her make-a-living tool - her laptop and works a little.

 

Spending time, actually.

 

 

Her body tense up when she hears the sound of a key is plugged into the keyhole.

 

She manages to maintain her original position.

 

 

“I thought you won’t be awoke ’til dawn.” Hyuna casually throws her keys on the dinning table.

 

“I don’t have jet lags.” Sera tries her best to keep her eyes on the screen.

 

“That’s really nice. Hmm ? You made coffee ?” Hyuna takes off her shoes and sniffs.

 

“Making. It’s snowing outside, right ?” What Sera wants to say is, “I made it for you.”

 

“Good.” Hyuna chuckles softly.

 

 

“Aren’t you cold only wearing a coat ?” Sera finally looks at Hyuna, who is leaning on the dining table.

 

“I didn’t know it would snow today. This year’s first snow, eh ?” Hyuna cracks a smile.

 

“Y-yeah……..” Sera is startled.

 

“I remember that your coffee is really daebak. Are Canadians good at that ?” Hyuna stares at her rarely-used coffee machine.

 

“Then let me do it. You go to rest.” Sera walks up to Hyuna and gestures her to step aside.

 

 

Both of them know they still care for each other.

 

 

Hyuna happily heads to the living room and plays with her cats.

 

 

“Moon Hyuna.” Sera’s voice travels from the kitchen, through the noise of the coffee machine.

 

“Yes ?” 

 

 

“I understand that you might hate me. It’s like as a matter of course……. After I have left you like that. I thought you would live better without me dragging your feet. I always rely on you…….” A drop of tear drips down to the cup of coffee Sera’s making. 

 

“But I am so selfish….I came back and clung to you again.”

 

“It’s because my heart longs for you. It doesn’t matter whether you would kick me out. I just want to see if you’re doing well.”

 

 

“You ask me,

“What are you hesitating about ?

Is it that hard ?

I want to hear what you got to say.”

 

But you know,

I want something more special,

I want a beautiful day that we can always remember.

Hyuna seems surprised.

 

Her hands are froze mid-air.

 

 

“You should sit down first. Your leg is injured.” She resumes her calmness.

 

 

Sera wipes her tears and turns around.

 

She flounders a bit.

 

And she chooses to sit down by the dinning table. The farthest seat from Hyuna.

 

 

 

“Now I see you're alright. I will leave as soon as I can get a flight ticket.” 

 

 

 

“I am not. And I thought you wanna get me back.” Hyuna takes her turn in making the unfinished coffee.

 

 

 

“So I can stay ?” Sera’s eyes glitter.

 

“It’s …. What do you called it ?  Argh….. A probation period for you. You have to gain me back. My love ain’t cheap.” Hyuna serves a cup of coffee to Sera.

 

“Thanks. I do owe you a lot.” Sera smiles.

 

“Pay your debt wisely.” Hyuna also gets herself another cup.

 

 

 

Sera thinks maybe it’s the magic of the first snow, sipping on her never-been-so-good coffee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*At Taeyeon’s studio*

 

 

Taeyeon dully sits by her working desk, while the other two couples are in their own worlds.

 

Seulgi and Joy are whispering and occasionally laughing out loud.

 

Wendy and Irene are having a pinching-cheeks fight.

 

 

She bolts up from her seat when Jessica finally arrives.

 

 

“Sica-ah~~~~” Taeyeon the big dork greets her girlfriend.

 

“I’m late ‘cause my client have asked for some amendments on the design. Sorry~” Jessica the “warm” ice-princess sweetly replies and holds Tae’s hand.

 

 

“Never mind. So now the party is about to begin, guys !!!!” Taeyeon exclaims.
