Narrator's POV

Taylor sat on the top of the roof, staring off into the bustling city. Lights shined from different directions and the sound of cars filled her ears. The thought going through her mind was nothing. Nothing at all. She just stared. The weather was even worse up on the building then it was on the ground. The cool fall breeze was very strong. 

Nobody would ever think to find her up there, considering that nobody was ever allowed to be there. It was dangerous during the fall and winter. But something in Taylor urged her to go up. Maybe to be alone and be able to think without a bunch of people talking in her ear telling her what to do. 

The first thought Taylor finally had was how was everybody reacting floors down, were they looking for her? Was Yixing still yelling at Tao? But it wasn't Tao's fault, he was only speaking his mind. And the truth. The fact was, that the truth hurt Taylor. That she was only being used to make money because of her condition. Condition? It wasn't a condition is was something different. 

There was a fold up chair that was usually used for workers coming upstairs to have a smoke so it remained alone. Taylor sat down and rested her hands on her small baby bump and hummed. Hummed a sweet melody of a song she was writing only for the ears of her children. She figured the first couple lines but that was it.

Come stop your crying, 
it'll be alright.
Just take my hand,
hold it tight.

"I want the best life for you. And if that means, that I get used to provide you guys with the very best then I'll let that happen." Taylor assured the bump, letting out a small sigh. I'm going to be on for this.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

20 minutes passed when the door burst open with a bunch of loud voices coming through onto the rooftop. Taylor instantly opened her eyes from the daze she had. She was now freezing and shivering. Her lips turning purple and her skin pale. Everything was coming back to her now, how she got up onto the roof and what she ended up saying to herself. But what she said was true.

Once Taylor snapped out of the daze, she quickly turned around to see who disturbed or managed to save her from worse happening to her. It was dark so she couldn't see but she made out that it was a bunch of people. One of the figures ran to her side and fell to their knees once they reached her.

"Don't ever do that to me again." the figure said. Taylor still in shock, couldn't register the voice. And the night made it hard to see who it was. Until the figure pushed their lips onto Taylors, and thats when she knew. Yixing.

He pulled away and laid his hands on her cheeks, "You're freezing." he said then turned to the others, "Guys help me get her up and somewhere warm."

More people ran to her as Yixing pulled her up off the chair. Everything was still trying to register in her mind of what was happening. It was a late November night around 12 AM and the temperature was around -7 degrees celsius. Yixing and somebody else lifted up and carried her back into the building.

With a blanket wrapped tightly around her and a cup of tea, Taylor was beginning to warm up. Yixing sat infront of her, making her that she was going to finish the cup of tea. It was important that she stayed warm especially with her being pregnant. 

"I'm fine. You can stop worrying. You are going to get wrinkles." Taylor said between sips of tea.

"I know, I know. Once you left, I got worried and we looked everywhere for you. We found Hana and she said that you went back to us and I told her no. So everyone was running around her their head cut off trying to find you. It was scary." Yixing adjusted himself to be behind Taylor and have his legs on either side as he wrapped his arms around Taylor and placed his hands on her stomach. She laid back to have her back against his chest.

"I'm so sorry." she silently weeped.

16 weeks. And it's the day before Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve's Eve to be exact. And there is an SMTOWN concert for the night. Then they have time off for the next 3 days. But tonight, Taylor just sits at the side of the stage while she admires Yixing's dance moves as they perform MAMA. Taylor only has to sing one song tonight then be out for the final number. She gets to sing 'All I Want For Christmas' and considering how she is fluent in English, she was pumped for the shot to sing. Though it was another 3 weeks before she has her comeback.
