12 hours into labour. 7cm dilated. 6 minutes between contractions.

"I was so scared." I held onto Yixing's wrists. To think that he almost didn't make it. There was so much pain going through my entire body. But the epidural was supposed to be happening within the next 10 minutes so we were just waiting for the doctor to show up. 

As for right now, it the two of us and to be honest, I wouldn't want anything else. Yixing smiled softly and gazed into my eyes, "Me too. When I saw you sleeping on the bed, I thought you already gave birth and were resting. I had a mini panic attack but the doctor came in and reassured me of your well being." he told me.

I softened my grip on his wrists and released him. "I told the guys that I would call them when anything happens. And with the epidural happening soon, that means its going to happen pretty fast afterwords. And I bet the crowds of fans are still down there blocking the entrances."

"Yeah. That's a good idea. And when I arrived a little while ago there were still around 100 people camping out. So I had to enter through the complete opposite side of the hospital and go through back hallways so that no one sees me. Some nurses even told me that they aren't allowing anybody in the maternity ward unless they have proof that they are supposed to be here. Apparently, there was someone trying to sneak in and pretend to be a nurse so they could come see you." Yixing said. My mouth gaped open. Were they really trying to go that far in lengths to get to see Yixing and I's babies? Some people are sick.

"If I was allowed any type of social media then I would tell them kindly to leave... but I can't." I grabbed onto the hospital sheets nervously. I just didn't want people in the way so that others could get the medical help they need.

"We can use my weibo, if you want." Yixing smiled at me and I responded with a nod. Though in the middle of my nod, I felt the worse contraction I have had so far. My insides twisted and turned. I could feel the babies moving in position little by little. This was a millions times worse than a period cramp. Almost like a baseball bat straight into my stomach.

"Ow.." I whined holding one of my hands out for Yixing and the other grasping on the hospital bed railing. For a second when all this pain is happening to you, you forget to breathe. And that's what I did. All my knowledge flew out the window at that moment.

Until I felt Yixing's hand tighten around mine, "Remember to take deep breaths. And squeeze my hand as much as you want. I don't want you to be the only one in pain. Okay?" 

That was when I realized that I wasn't alone anymore. Because for the past 11 hours I had been doing this by myself but now... I wasn't terrified for once.

"Curl your back for us please." The doctor who was performing the epidural said to me. I did what she said and curled my upper body as I sat cross legged on top of the bed. Yixing was holding onto both my hands and kept whispering comforting words to me as they put the catherter in my spine. They told it wasn't supposed to hurt but I felt pinches of pain here and there.

"Okay it's in." she said after a few minutes of pressing needles in my back. Yixing helped me lie back down while the doctor started to administered the medication into the tube leading into my spinal cord. After a few minutes I began to feel the numbness that was going through out my lower body.

"I'm feeling it." I looked over to the doctor, who nodded and finally put the full amount into the tube.

"I will be back every hour or so to top up your anthesia." she finally told me and left the room to probably see another patient.

Yixing, who was still holding onto my hand, looked at me. "How do you feel? Any pain?"

I shook my head and returned a smile. "Nope but lets wait for a contraction to come and see then. But you don't know how long I have been waiting to get the epidural."

10 cm dilated. 15 hours in labour. Excactly 5 minutes between contractions.

"Are you ready to push Taylor?" Dr. Kang came into the room with three nurses following him. Everything was finally happening. The two little babies that I have been inside me for months are ready to come into this world and I was more than ready. The only thing that sat on my mind was trying to get the memories of my parents out of my head. I told them my due date when I called them but although since I'm a month early, I just wondered if they were thinking about me. 

Maybe after the babies are born and I'm rested that maybe I'll give them a call just to let them know that they are grandparents. I know they are mad at me but this couldn't be helped. Well Yixing could have used protection but how was he supposed to go out in public and buy condoms without the whole world knowing every single movement he made. And I could have gotten birth control pills but I can't be on medication with all the physical activity I do. There was even months before Yixing started going out where I never got my period for a few months at a time.

But now I'm ready. I'm ready to bring the human beings that I will always love and care for no matter what, into this world.

I nodded and turned my sight on to Yixing who looked a bit nervous himself. He wasn't ready and I could tell. He never read anything about pregnancy or parenthood. And within the next week, he is back on a plane to China to head over and do a performance for a charity event so he'll leave me
