“It’s not funny ok? Stop joking around.” I told him. I struggled to break free but I couldn’t even budge no matter how much strength I exert. Damn, he’s strong. Physical harm won’t do him any good. Heck, he might not even feel a thing if I punched him in the face. If only I knew how to use my powers then he might not be so high and mighty. Wait, that’s it! Tamer powers. How did I do it with Thunder again?

“I told you already, I’m not fooling around. I’m serious.” He whispers sent shivers down my spine. It’s giving me goosebumps. Does he intend to make my already bomb-ticking heart explode?! He smirked at my reaction. I could see from the corner of my eye that he is enjoying this.

“Get off me!” I yelled at him.

“Make me.” He teased back.

“You asked for it.” I concentrated all my thoughts into pushing him back like how I did to Thunder on impulse. I don’t know if this could work, but better try than not trying at all right? To my surprise, I succeeded. Joon was thrown back the moment I did it. His impact wasn’t as awful as Thunder’s but I’m certain that would leave a mark. He hit the wall but managed to break his fall.

“You’re starting to get the hang of it huh? Impressive.” I’m not sure whether he meant that as a compliment or not.

“Out! Or I’ll force another one on you.” I threatened him.

“Fine, fine… As long as you don’t keep anything a secret from me, I won’t try anything funny.” He smiled and left before I could do anything else.

“Jerk!!!” I yelled. Aish, whatever! Just go to sleep, everything will be just fine tomorrow morning.

“Hey, you better wake up now if you don’t want to be late for school…” I heard someone waking me up. I could feel his or her hands on my shoulders shaking me to wake me up.

“Mmmm.. Five more minutes…” I mumbled and stuffed my face in to my pillow.

“I might not be here after another five more minutes.” I started to recognize the voice speaking to me now. I immediately got up.

“Junhyung! I need to talk to you!” The words came out of my mouth on impulse on seeing his face. He’s back.

“I know. I need to talk too.” He added and sat down on the chair next to my bed.

“Me first. I’m sorry for the other day. If it was something I did, I didn’t think that you would be that mad… Please forgive me.”

“What are you talking about? You didn’t do anything wrong…. Kind of… You made me remember some things when you put me to sleep, that’s all…” He said.

“Was it that bad of a nightmare?” I asked.

“It wasn’t exactly a nightmare. It has been a long time since then. I never think that I would remember the memories that sealed away.” He said as if he was reminiscing something. I didn’t need to ask him what he was babbling about. He could tell how confused I was just by looking at my expression.

“It started a very long time ago, a hundred years ago perhaps? Lynn was my girlfriend. My first and my last.She was the first person ever to understand me so well, not ever questioning about my questions. That sweet smile of hers would make me forget everything just by a glance of it. I fell immediately for her. She did for me too. People say its fate, but I thought I must be the luckiest man alive that time. However, I was stupid. I didn’t think about Lynn’s welfare…”

“What do you mean?” I asked him when he paused the story.

“I was a newborn vampire that time. Despite knowing about my secret, Lynn still accepted me. I thought I could control my hunger well enough, but I was dead wrong. We were out on a date one day and Lynn tripped herself and fell. She started bleeding. I was ok at first but the smell of blood started to intoxicate my whole body. Temptation grew stronger and stronger till I wasn’t capable of controlling myself anymore. Everything went black after that. When I finally found my sight again, the other members of Beast were there pinning me down.

“Junhyung! Get a hold of yourself!!! Stop this!!!” Kikwang’s words still rang clearly in my mind till today. And also that bloody scene before my eyes.

“Lynn!!!” I ran towards her whom was lying in a pool of blood. My legs grew numb and I fell right before her.

“I’m so sorry Lynn, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.” I cried hysterically. My vision blurred as tears welled up in my eyes. I took her into my arms and hugged her seemingly lifeless body.

“J…Junhyung… Don’t blame yourself…” She tried her best to speak and struggled to wipe away my tears with her hands.

“..I’ll always be with you….” She coughed up blood as she struggled even harder to squeeze the words out of her breath.

“Lynn!!!” Screaming her name was all I could remember.

“I love you.” Her last words were carved into my heart. Her hands fell as she passed on.

“I’m sorry to hear that… I didn’t know…” I tried to console him but was cut off.

“It’s ok. Actually, I’m thankful to you.” He said.

“What?”

“The memories of that bloody past. I sealed it away and the other members were careful not to say anything that would make me remember. But after so many years, only you were able to break my seal. Rather than feeling remorse over what happened I now feel grateful. Maybe it’s thanks to that that I’ve got these new powers. I now understand why blood has the least effect on me than other vampires.”

“Really? That’s great then!” I couldn’t help but smile. I just love happy endings don’t you?

“I would be lying if I said that I don’t regret what I did. I didn’t believe in Lynn’s final words till now. She really is still with me…”

“She is? Where?” I asked curiously.

“Here. It’s you.” His smile dazzled me. Who knew he could pull such an expression. He was all solemn before.

“You’re smile is an exact replica of hers. The way you talk resembles her a lot too. Not to mention you’re capable of unlocking the dreaded memories I’ve locked away. It’s time that you’re here, Tamer.” His last sentence made me blush.

“Don’t just say empty words. I was just a normal human being a few weeks ago…” I said and tried to change the topic.

“Ah, and you better watch out. Joon already knows about you being here.” I continued.

“Really? It’s about time he found out!” Junhyung said.

“Huh? You wanted him to find out?” I stared at him. Is he bipolar?

“Well, I don’t really have a problem with him finding out. But he hesitates too much on what he wants to do…”

“Huh?” I’m even more confused now.

“He likes you, isn’t it obvious?”

“No! He’s just joking around… That idiot…” I blushed again.

“Ya~ He did something to you when I wasn’t around didn’t he?” Junhyung question caught me off guard. He popped his face in front of me anticipating my answer.

“A…Ah! Look at the time! I don’t want to be late for school!” With that I grabbed my stuff and scrambled out of my room.
