It’s cold. Very cold. The temperature dropped a lot. I don’t know how and I don’t know why. But I’m pretty sure I’m practically freezing to death. My body has already froze and it seems every single muscle in my body has gone limp. I could only feel something warm trickling down my neck. It dripped on the floor. I tried to look at it with the corner of my eye. It’s blood.

“…..!!! Are you alright?!” Joon asked me when he got by my side. I didn’t respond. Or more precisely, I can’t. I only stared at him motionlessly.

“She lost a lot of blood. The venom might have already taken effect.” I heard Seungho said.

“Damn! Yoseob, how could you do this?! Are you intending to break the Covenant ?!” Mir shouted at him as he zoomed from one corner of the room to the next, holding Yoseob by the collar.

“Yeah, I see you’re forgetting you’re in our territory now. Your Fire element won’t work here. It’s futile to start a fight.”

“You better hurry. She doesn’t look good to me. She’ll freeze to death at this rate.” Du Jun smirked.

“You and your Ice element!” Thunder shouted.

What? Covenant? Territory? Fire? Ice? Great, I’m even more confused than I was seconds ago. I would have started shouting asking for an explanation if I wasn’t here lying on the cold floor. I tried to speak. I forced my mouth to open but no words came out. I merely jerked.

“Don’t speak. Mir, G.O, you guys head back and treat ….  first. We’ll take care of things here. Hurry!” Seungho told me and commanded them instantaneously .

“Right, Mir let’s go.” G.O. picked me up and carried me. I blinked and the next time I opened my eyes, we were already dashing pass the forest. Probably already miles from Beast’s manor.

“Argh! I knew I should have kept an eye on them!” I heard G.O. said.

“Sorry, it’s probably our fault that you’re like this. But, don’t worry you’re gonna be fine.” Mir assured me and moved my bangs to the side of my face so that they wouldn’t cover my eyes. He had that puppy pout look on his face again. Sorry? Why should he be? I’m the idiot that walked myself into the den of vampires.

Who knows how many minutes passed and I found myself back in MBLAQ’s dorm. G.O. and Mir dashed in and layed me down on the couch. Mir pushed aside my hair and inspected my bite wound.

“Aish, its deep. And it looks like that jerk used his ice powers too. It’ll take some time to get it healed.” Mir ran his fingers down my neck and examined it more closely. He brushed his hand against the wound gently. I knew it was gentle, way too gentle. But still it stung. Hell, it felt like people were stabbing daggers into me. I couldn’t help but wince and scream.

Her screams pierced my ears and shattered the dorm’s dead silence. She started to tear up and winced again when I spaced myself from her.

“We need to start now. The venom’s already spreading. She won’t be able to handle the pain. Put her to sleep.” I told G.O.

“Got it.” G.O. acted promptly and squatted down so that she could see his face.

“Sorry. It’ll be over soon.” He put his hands on her head. Moments later, she was unconscious.

I better start now. I won’t let her suffer the same fate we did. Hang on …..!

G.O. and Mir left with …., leaving me, Seungho and Thunder to deal with Beast.

“So, why did you do it? You’re not one to act so rashly.” Thunder asked.

“You’re right, I’m not.” Yoseob replied.

“You know you guys have broken the Covenant by doing this, don’t you?” Seungho tried reasoning with them.

“We’re not dumb.” Kikwang said back.

“Why then!? Why?!” I demanded an answer.

“You’ll find out soon. You better hurry back and check on her. Who knows? She might already be one of us.” Dong Woon joked.

“You…!” Seungho blocked me from charging at him.

“He’s right. Let’s head back. We can settle this another time.

I hissed and nodded. I doubt I could fight with me worrying about her. We left there and then.

“Looks like they finally left. Finally some peace!” Hyunseung seems relieved.

“Wasn’t that abit too much? You just made her another one of us.” I asked Yoseob.

“Don’t worry. She’ll be fine.” He laid back on the sofa and looked relaxed about his answer.

“Fine? How?” I don’t think even Mir will be able to heal her. Our Ice element will block their power long enough for the venom to take its full effect.” I said.

“Heh, just trust me. I wouldn’t do something if I wasn’t sure about it. After all, I’m Yang Yoseob!” He smiled. I was puzzled by his answer. But it’s true. He wouldn’t do something like this. There must be a reason. What is it? Was the whole revenge talk just now just a fake? What are his true intentions? Whatever it is, I’m just glad he’s still the Yoseob I know.

“Yoseob a… you’re becoming more and more mischievous recently you know?” I .

“I know.” He smiled back.

I opened my eyes. It was bright, the sun’s rays were blinding me. My blurry vision slowly cleared. I was in my room again. MBLAQ’s dorm. I looked around. I really am back! I tried to pull myself up but suddenly felt a sharp pain all over my body. I fell back on my bed.

“Urgh, my body’s still numb.” I mumbled to myself, at least I thought I was alone.

“You’re awake now?” A familiar voice rang in my ears. I searched where the voice came found and saw Joon at the corner of my room, leaning against the wall with his arms folded on his chest.

“J.. Joon.” I stuttered.

He walked towards me and I couldn’t help but hear my heart beat uncontrollably. It’s almost like it’s about to explode.

“I see you haven’t forget.” He whispered to me when he suddenly appeared by my side.

“So, are you afraid now? Now that you’re aware of the truth?”

“I..I..” I couldn’t find the words to speak. My beating heart just completely drowned my other thoughts away.

“Just face it. You’re afraid of us. Us vampires.” Joon said.
