    Zico stared at the girl as she sat on the roof with her lunchbox that was untouched. He could easily smell the pork and rice; however, even the delicious aroma couldn’t stop the sadness leaking into his heart as he saw the lonely girl staring out the landscape with blank eyes. She was so lost that she didn’t even noticed that Zico was watching her from the side. 

Hana thoughts were clouded by Luhan as she leaned back against the rooftop wall. Doubts concerned her as she noticed that none of the boys were in class even when half of the school day is over. 

While growing up, her parents always thought Hana not be judgmental and she, to this day, always followed that teaching. Even though she was judged after the incident by her peers, that didn’t stop her from following her parent’s lesson; in a way, it become her promise.  

Yet from yesterday’s memories Hana couldn’t help but feel like she broke it.

Yes, Hana was able to accept the fact that Luhan and the others are werewolves, but she wasn’t able to accept that she was Luhan’s mate. 

She judged Luhan by not hearing the whole explanation. 

She judged her own feelings.

She judged his feelings. 

Hana thought that she would just like Luhan from the back and never tell him because she knew that he would never see her like how she saw him. However, that was crushed when Luhan told her that he loves her. She could have been happy right now, but the word ‘mate’ made it so hard to accept his feelings. 

Does he like me because of his true feelings or is it because he was suppose to; like it was his destiny. 

Hana brought her legs up and put her forehead against her knees and took a deep breathe as she tried to calm to her emotions down. 

Zico sighed quietly as he smelled sadness, doubt, and hurt from the silent girl who still haven’t touched her lunchbox. 

He silently walked towards her and sat down next her with a small thud, “If you aren’t going to eat your lunch can I have it.” 

Hana jumped from the sudden intrusion. She looked up to the source and easily show the blonde hair shining because of the sun.

“I wasn’t stalking you, if that is what you are thinking.” Zico said while leaning back against the same wall. 

Hana eyes widen in shock as he was easily able to read her. Is he reading my mind? Werewolves were only in fairytales, but now Hana knew that they are living in the same world as humans so maybe there are people who have abnormal powers. 

“I can’t read minds.” Zico chuckled little at Hana’s expression, “You’re just easy to read.”
