Epilogue

So you're probably wondering what happened to Kris and Kyungsoo and everyone else, right?

7 years later

Well, Kyungsoo followed his dream of becoming a chef and after a while, together they started up a small cafe of their own.

How you ask?

You see, in the meantime Joonmyun has become the head of his family's company and saw to make a small investment in the couple.

While Kyungsoo and Minseok are making small miracles in the kitchen, Kris is waiting tables with Tao.
Chanyeol waits tables from time to time as well when he isn't busy teaching kids music. His parent didn't approve of his choice of becoming a teacher at first but now they are nothing short of proud of their son.
Baekhyun was hired by Kyungsoo to take care of the cafe´s finances, salaries and budgets. Baekhyun is still not 100% comfortable talking about his uality but he is no longer deep in the closet. Seeing how happy Kyungsoo was with his stupid significant other, Baekhyun couldn't help but...  start to respect Kris. And so believe it or not, Baekhyun came to accept Kris and his curious ways.

Every night at the café, Kyungsoo leaves the kitchen in order to sing on the small stage Joonmyun insisted on building. Chanyeol then grabs his guitar and believe it or not, Joonmyun appears from time to time to play as well.

Now... How would he have time for that?

Well, Sehun got his together, entered school and as it turned out, the kid had the smarts. Especially in the manipulative department. Surprise, surprise.
Oh but there's more. When Luhan graduated, Joonmyun hooked him up with a job in his father's firm and through a whole lot of effort, Luhan climbed his way up the ladder to a top-position.
Together the three of them share the responsibilities and through combined strength, the company is now stronger than ever.  

Jongdae you ask? Believe it or not, the guy is still head over heels in love with Luhan. Which is surprising... Because they still bicker like an old married couple way into their 80's. But you know... Apart from that, the couple has lived together for almost 6 years now. Even thinking about adopting a kid.

Speaking of kids. Minseok is a dad now! Yup. Two baby girls and one on the way. Hopefully a boy this time. Who would've thought the baby crazy person had been Minseok and not Sarah? After having dated for a few years, Minseok had gone down on one knee and popped the question. And she had said yes!... Well the first few times she had said no because apparently she had been the one not ready for the whole: man and wife with baby on top but she certainly was now.

It hadn't been easy for Tao to trust his father again but he slowly started to see change and after a looooot of 'couple' therapy, they had finally worked out the kinks in their relationship. Actually it had been Lay who had suggested the couple therapy just before he had embarked on an amazing journey.
Lay is now dancing on stage 5 nights a week in New York, America, living out his dream of dancing. Oh and also, his ex-girlfriend is no longer an ex. After having seen Lay realizing his dream, she had been encouraged to do the same. Finding each other again, Lay had never stopped loving her and welcomed her back with open arms. What a smock. But a romantic one at that.

Now Jongin... Jongin can honestly say he is no longer in love with his hyung. He has a girlfriend now, that Minji girl he met at Lay's dance class. He'd been too shy to talk to her though but luckily Minji wasn't your average type of 'theboyhastomakethefirstmove' kind of gal. He still sometimes helps at the cafe when it's busy but having taken over Lay's dance classes and even started some of his own left little time for anything else.

Krystal had found a new dream of acting and is now a common face on the big screen along with her husband, Lee Taemin. The couple caused quite the uproar when they announced their relationship but in the end people cheered them on.

Kyungsoo's mother is still a major pain in the but they still love her. Even if she keeps asking for a granddaughter she can dress up when Kris doesn't have the time.

And Kris? Kris couldn't be happier.
Waiting tables might not sound like your average dreamjob but Kris love it and the regulars and new faces all love him aswell.    

And I think that makes full circle.

Of course there has been a lot of ups and downs in Kris and Kyungsoo's relationship but the two always found a way to work things out.
Kris is still naive and childish and Kyungsoo still scolds him. But they love each other. So Kris takes the scolding and Kyungsoo softens at the sight of Kris's puppy-eyes.
It had been an easy decision for the two to settle down in Seoul but Kris still missed his family back home. That's why every year, the two and Mamma D.O. pack their bags and go to spend Christmas with the Fan family.

It's Christmas day.
Kyungsoo and Kris are spending their evening at the VanDusen Botanical Garden to see the many colorful lights.  A tradition if you will, only, tonight seemed slightly different.

"Come. There's something I want to show you."

Kyungsoo took Kris's hand and lead him thought the maze of colors. Before long, a small path illuminated by hundreds of lit torches came into view. As they walked, the sound of classical music could be heard in the distance.

"Kyungsoo? What's going on?"

"You'll see."

The end of the path lead them to the Korean Pavilion where a small orchestra played a lovely melody that sounded awfully familiar. The moment the two entered the pavilion, new torches were lit surrounding the  marquee in flames.

"Are they playing 'Speak Softly L...' Oh no."

"Kris."

Kyungsoo slowly went down  on one knee to present Kris with a red rose wherein a silver band resided beautifully.

"Kyungsoo... Please no. This is..."

"You... Are now a part of me. And I will never let you go..."

Kyungsoo then started to his jacket when Kris fell to his knees to stop him.

"Kyungsoo! I was kidding when I told you about that proposal!"

You may recall Kris having made up some insane proposal to distract Kyungsoo from... Whatever. How the hell could he have thought he had been serious?!
The smaller man's mouth formed an o, as did his eyes before regret invaded his face.

"... I really wish you had told me that sooner."

Even though it was freezing and cold as balls, Kyungsoo opened his jacket to his shirt, revealing a... tattoo with Kris's name on his chest.
In that moment, hundreds and hundreds of paper butterflies attached to strings were pulled up, surrounding them in all the colors of the rainbow.

"...You didn't."

"Oh I did. I thought it'd be too gruesome to actually carve you're name with a knife, so I had this made instead. And now I really start to regret this whole thing."

Kris laughed at his boyfriend's flustered face.

"Hey... Don't give up now. I still might say yes." 

Scoffing, Kyungsoo took Kris's hands, flashing a dazzling heart-shaped smile.

 "I love you Kris. And I don't ever want to stop because... you're the one. And they can beat us up and call us names but it will always. Be you and me. So... Kris. Wu. Fan. Will... You. Marry me?"

"... Can we name our first born Dragon?"

"No."

"Then I will not. Bye-bye."

As Kris rose to his feet, Kyungsoo quickly grabbed hold of his pants legs.  

 "What if it's a girl?!"

"Then we'll name her... Dragolina. See? problem solved."

"...Why do you hate our child?"

"Hey, I'm not asking for much here. Minseokie got to name his girls Luke and Leia."  

"... He named his baby girl, Luke. Luke. It's no wonder they keep producing. All I ever hear in the kitchen is how Minseok hyung wants a boy so he can get a Han Solo. It's ridiculous."

"But at least Sarah let him decide their names... Because she loves him. A Lot."

Kyungsoo slowly rose from the ground, keeping a stern look on his face.

"I'm leaving you."

"No you're not. Remember? You're stuck to me like an STD. So get back down on one knee AND LET ME NAME OUR FIRSTBORN, DRAGON!"

"YOU !"

"That's what you said last night. And you liked it."

"I!... Middle name?"

"...Deal."

The two men shook hands before breaking into a hysterical laugh. Kris cocooned his husband-to-be in his arms, letting joy overflow his heart.

"I love you Kyungsoo," he whispered into the black curls tickling his nose. Kris gingerly lifted up Kyungsoo's chin to envelope the beautiful man's smooth lips in a kiss. Even after all this time, Kyungsoo's kiss could still make him weak in the knees and every time it would confirm to him the ever-lasting love he felt for the strange boy from the airplane. Kris sighed in content as he held Kyungsoo against his chest.     

"Now we just need to figure out where to get a kid... "

Contemplating a second, Kris let go of Kyungsoo to pull out a coin from his jeans pocket.

"Here. I'll flip you for who gets to impregnate the girl. TAILS!"

"... How. Are we still together?"
