Genre: Angst, dark Requester: JulietCheng     Running at the speed of lightning, breathing wildly, searching for my boyfriend Hakyeon. I stopped in my tracks, hands on my knees, panting. I ran a hand through my hair and looked around. The night sky was an indigo velvet cloak that hung over my eyes, blocking me from seeing all but my steamed breath and silhouettes of tall trees ahead of me. The moon hung high in the sky, almost as if it was smiling down at me, mocking me, saying ‘you’ll never find him out here’. My heart raced like a greyhound on a track, making my head spin as if I was tossed into a violent tornado.   “Hakyeon-ah!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. I heart pounding in my head as everything began to spin in circles. My hands clawed at the tree bark, desperate for something to hold on to. The dry leaves on the ground began to rustle and crackle as if I was being followed. I wasn’t alone. “H-Hakyeon oppa? This isn’t funny anymore!” I cried, covering my mouth to capture my escaping sobs of fear. I heard a heartbeat ring through the seemingly empty forest, only getting louder. A wind circulated through the clearing, twirling leaves around my head like millions of tiny bats.   “Eunwoon-ah!” a cry rung out loud and clear, yet somehow distant. I ran in the direction I thought it came from, only to find myself standing in the same clearing minutes later. I dropped to my knees.
