No Minwoo; some arrogant jerk I had the misfortune to meet, and all due to my best friend having a huge crush on some guy called Lee Jeongmin - whoever he is. I try not to get involved with those troublemakers anyway. They weren’t the ‘kingkas’, no way. They weren’t the golden boys of this school, but I guess the bad boy image attracted all the naïve female students to them. Not me. And I guess that’s why he followed me around so much. Every lunchtime he’d come over, trying to get me to ‘confess my unconditional love’ for him. Pssht, as if. I wasn’t free from him in my lessons either; he was my History partner, which meant more nagging, flirting and more arrogant remarks. To which I ignored. I rolled my eyes and whispered sharply. “What?” he tapped his finger on my pencil. “Could you lend me a pencil please, cranky?” he asked. I glared at the use of his nickname for me. I handed him a pencil anyway, making sure to pink out the girliest one. I smirked as he stared at the pencil in horror. “Now class, originally I was going to make you all write an essay for this term, but as I was planning the lesson I decided it’d be better for you to do a presentation in pairs instead.” I raised my hand, glancing over at Minwoo in disgust. “Mrs Shin? Do we get to choose the pairs?” Mrs Shin shook her head, gesturing to Minwoo. “You will be working with your seating partners.” I groaned and slumped my head down on the desk in frustration. I was just about done with this jerk. Poke. Poke. Just ignore it, Diana, just ignore it. Poke. Poke. Just endure it a little while longer. Poke. Poke. Poke. I snapped m
