Genre: angst Requester: Coolhalla Note: Although SeiuolodrajaF's request was first, since my laptop died, I wrote this on my iPhone and finished it first.     It was another Friday afternoon, and I was once again sitting at the front of my Maths class, watching the second hand tick by, getting closer and closer to the third hour of the afternoon. All around me, I heard my fellow class 'mates' talking amongst themselves - probably about last night's football scores or the newest hottie that had joined our school. I didn't care about any of that mumbo-jumbo; I just wanted to get out of this hellhole and sleep in my bed, letting everything float away. I mentally plugged in my iPod, letting my head fill with imaginary music intended to block out every word that was being said, except the occasional kick to the back of my chair.   I didn't even dare to turn around anymore; I knew that it would please them if I did. That was what they lived for - feeding off vulnerable classmates' weaknesses. My weakness? I guess you could say I was a little fleshier than the average girl here. That was the thing that made staying around difficult. It was about the only thing I despised about the whole city - that I was an outsider. I liked the small forests by the school field, even though they were fenced off, were littered with broken decaying branches and smelt of fox pee. I even liked the toilets and my dad's old van, though both were broken and smelly.   By the time Monday morning rolled around, I just wanted to run away and seek peace in my bed once more. I was lucky enough to skip past the first three lessons without my name passing by anyone's lips. It was now lunchtime, and I was once again standing by the fence of the forest, holding out meat for the foxes. Two small foxes ripped apart the meat like it was the easiest thing in the world. The mother fox looked up at me before her cubs' heads affectionately. The peace was broken when a small conker hit my shoulder. The foxes scurried away and left me feeling lonely all over again. "You shouldn't be hanging around there." One of the boys scowled, looking into the forest. His brown hair sprawled across his forehead as the wind blew it.   I folded my arms over my chest. "Why should you care, Wonshik?" I mumbled. "He doesn't." Someone answered from behind me. To my surprise, it was my ex. My ex best friend I mean, the one I caught spreading rumours behind my back; and paying her brother to pretend to date me. "We're all tired of you, Hala. Why are you even still here?" I hung my head. Why was I still here? Was it my family, getting good grades, my love for the foxes? Or was it my unrequited crush on Wonshik that kept me anchored to this city?   Eventually even the foxes had stopped visiting me, and now I was truly alone. I had no friends to go shopping with or gossip with, but then again I was never much of a gossip girl. The bullying ame to a stop. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad, because now I was invisible to everyone. No one noticed that I no longer spoke, probably because nobody cared enough to notice me. I sat at the back of my maths class, jotting down notes silently. There were no kicks to my chair, nor any scrunched up paper balls hitting my head.
