Genre: fluff Author's Note: I wrote this not just because it's Valentine's day but also because I feel guilty that I can't write for the next 3 weeks as I have revision this week and 2 weeks of mock exams. I have been experiencing writer's block recently so I hope this makes up for it (kind of)     Because Park Kyung is one of the greasiest little es I know     Park Kyung. The most competitive, egotistical, crazy and greasy idiot I ever met. Why did I bother with him in the first place? I’m not exactly sure. We knew each other quite well. Better than most people knew him. The only thing was… we had never spoken to each other. You’d assume that being cousins with Kyung’s best friend would mean that I’d get to see and speak to Kyung a lot, right? That was kind of my fault. I was too scared to say hello to that stupid face of his. Too scared that he’d scoff and ask me who the heck I was. Too scared that he’d smile and make my insides turn to mush. I was too scared that I’d end up falling for his silly pick up lines and all of his fans would attack me like a pack of wild animals. Nobody at my school knew about me and Jiho being cousins, so we’d have to meet in secret to hang out. It was easy to get away with these secret meetings; after all, me and Jiho were quite different from each other. While he had lots of fans and friends in the school, I preferred to stick around with a small group of friends. I wasn’t nearly as popular as Jiho was, but I was happy with that. As long as I wasn’t ignored or bullied it suited me well.   I picked up my books and stuffed them into my backpack. I wiped the steam from my glasses and slung my backpack onto my shoulder. As I walked past Jiho’s table, I gave him a subtle smile which he returned with a grin. As I turned my head away, that idiot had to say something that made my heart stop beating. “Jiho? Who is she?” Damn. I’d been spotted smiling at the most popular boy in my school. Now what would people think if they found out? Jiho’s reply, though, gave me relief. “Don’t you even dare tell anyone about this.” Now that a third person knew about me and Jiho being related, I felt relieved. Now we could meet up with the help of Kyung… hopefully. Kyung leant his elbow on the table where Jiho should have been sitting. There was a sly smile on his face that made me tremble. His chin rested on the palm of his hand, leaning ever so dangerously close to me. “I never knew you were Jiho’s cousin, Kim Seyeon. I should have guessed, really. He talks about you a lot. He never mentions your name, though. I reckon he’s too scared I’ll hit on you. He really admires you, you know? He tells me you’re smart and pretty. Prettier than me.” I let out a laugh. That sounded like Jiho alright. Since he only had an older brother, he would treat me as more of a sister. We were quite close and that meant we shared a lot of secrets. “You see Seyeon,” Kyung leant his face closer, smirking. “I’ve always thought you were cute.” My cheeks burned bright red. “But now that I’ve met you, I’ve changed my mind.” His smiled disappeared and he moved away from me. My heart dropped in my chest. Then, without warning, he whispered in my ear from behind me, “I know you’re cute.”   “Damn that boy! Why does he have to be so greasy and ruin my life?” I cried to myself on my bed. “What boy? Ooh there’s a boy you like? I knew it!!” My brother Yukwon rushed over and jumped on me. I groaned and wrestled with him, trying to push him off. He grinned and tickled me. “I was just watching the after show of After School Club. Jackson is killing me.” Yukwon sat up. “Oh really? Your laptop isn’t on.” He laughed and tickled me again. I begged him to stop. “That’s because I finished watching it.” I pouted. Yukwon ruffled my hair and jumped off my bed. “Jiho will be here soon, so don’t get too excited over Jackson, okay?” I nodded.
