It was another bright morning in Incheon and the birds outside were singing heartily. I smiled to myself and looked at the clock. I yawned and ate my breakfast on the sofa, stretching my legs out across its whole length. I reached over to pick up my phone and text my younger brother who was supposed to arrive in Jeju that day. ‘Hey little bro! Are you safe and well? Text me back when you arrive there, arasso?’ I walked over to the coat rack and pulled on my coat, taking the dog lead from one of the pegs. “Yoshiko!” I called out my puppy’s name and heard him running eagerly toward me instantly. My grey and white Maltese, who I bought from a dog breeder in Japan (hence the name), was always eager for walks. Honestly, it was nice to have his company whenever Jaebum wasn’t around. Jaebum, my boyfriend, was an idol. He was a member of GOT7; the leader to be exact. Because Yoshiko reminded me of Jaebum sometimes, it was like having my boyfriend around. Especially when Yoshiko was excited. He’d jump about and my face.
