The night was silent.  It was hours after the little commotion or discussion she had witnessed without the boys knowing.  Jung Min has long gone to the dreamland.  She was left alone watching him by the side in the dark.  The bed was no longer used ever since she’s back into his life.  He had bought a futon and slept on the floor so that he would be able to sleep by her side.  His thoughtfulness and carelessness touched whilst at the same time made her guilty.  He’s an idol and sleeping on the cold floor is not good for his back and health. 

‘So how is he going to give his best in every performances or activity if he got sick because of the cold floor?’  The thought made her shook her head.

Slowly, she put her hand inside her pant’s pocket and took out the necklace.  Looking at it, and then to Jung Min’s peaceful sleeping face, she wondered, ‘I think I have about 27 or 26 days left.  If I get back into my body, emmm…let’s say a week before the dateline, I still have ample of time to uncover the full story about my brother and spend sometime with Jung Min, for memories.  Before…before I forgot all about him,’ she sighed a bit,‘if I make it back inside my body that is…and survive.’

Soo Min slowly placed the necklace around her neck after checking on the digital watch on the table. 

4.45 am.

She waited for something to happen.  She expected some light to come out from her body or feeling of nausea or weirdness due to the change from her spirit form to normal living form but it was neither of what she had imagined.  She didn’t feel anything at all.  She felt just like she always felt before.

With curiosity building up, wondering whether it really works or not, she held her hand out, closing them towards Jung Min’s hair.  But she stopped close, taking in a deep breath and held them in before finally touching it.  And it shocked her.  She felt it.  She felt his hair.  His smooth hair.  gaped open. 

‘It’s for real!  It’s true!  But…wait.  What if I was just focusing hard enough that made me felt like I’ve touched his hair?  I need more proof…’

She stood up and walked over to the bed.  She touched it first.  She felt the cotton fiber of the bed sheet and the hard, bouncy mattress.  It was not enough proof for her.  Slowly, she sat on it and her lips crept into a smile.  She didn’t go through the bed.  And she wasn’t even focusing her energy for it.  It was an enjoyable feeling.  She can’t help to bounce around on the bed and rolled around on it.  Grabbing the bolster, she hugged it tight.  It felt real.  She felt she was alive again and it made her giggle a bit.  Giggle of joy. 

“Anyong haseyo, SS501 y charisma Park Jung Min imnida…”

Her head whipped towards the sudden exclamation from Jung Min, clasping her hand on .  It startled her but after seeing him switching his position to the left side, mumbling ‘carrot’ in between the act, she relaxed down.

His cute act in his sleep made her chortled which at the same time she tried hard suppressing the sound, not wanting to wake Jung Min. 

‘He must be dreaming.  A fanmeet? A concert?  Even in his dream he’s SS501 Park Jung Min and carrot…he sure loves his carrot even if he kept denying it.’

She moved slowly towards the sleeping boy on the floor.  Kneeling beside him, she gazed at his calm features.  Her heart beat faster.  Dugeun, duguen, duguen…

Her eyes trailed down from Jung Min’s closed eyes, to his sharp nose, to his thick lips and it stopped there.  Duguen, duguen, duguen…

Her heart beat faster than before.

She tried tearing her eyes away from it but easy as it may sound, it was hard from her.  She has no idea why but as her heartbeats ran wild under her rib cage, she leaned forward.

Inches by inches, closing the gap.

Inches by inches, nearing towards the pinkish lips as the lips pouted a bit.

Inches by inches, her eyes closed.

Inches by inches, his breath mixed with hers.

Inches by inches… the gap closed.

Lips and lips met. 

But, as long as the process to close the distance between two lips, it was faster to pull them away, as she quickly pulled away from the brief kiss.

Her blood rushed up to her cheeks, warming her face.  Her heart, though it probably was her own imagination that it beats under the weird circumstances as she was a spirit, she felt as her heart had stopped beating for a while before it leapt into a crazy, unrealistic speed.  Her forefinger went up to her lips, rubbing and caring them, unable to believe what she had just done.  She felt it.  The warmth from his lips transferred to hers.

‘I… I kissed him.’

She moved her hand away from her lips and reached out to touch Jung Min’s face.  To caress it, and that was when she realized her hand were trembling.  Her body probably in shock to what she was experiencing especially since this solid body of hers wasn’t real.  She stopped mid air and pulled her hand back.  Her eyes crawled back to the watch on the table.  18 minutes has past. 

‘2 days…’

She took the necklace off her neck and put it back inside her pocket and moved away from the still sleeping boy she had opened her heart to.  Feeling hard to be able to lie beside him due to her consciousness and embarrassment of the scenario that had just taken place.

Walking past the door, she went to the living room and sat at the corner.  Her legs propped up as she placed her head on her knees, tilted to the right, directing her sight to the balcony.  Her forefinger found its way back to her lips, tracing them as a it turned to a smile and her face went warm again.

‘I… I kissed him…’
