‘What an amazing day to walk and go get an ice cream cone!’ Luhan really didn’t think as he looked at the dark clouds outside the window. Unfortunately, it seemed that his sister wasn’t thinking the same way since she was begging him for ice cream.

‘’It’s cold outside and it might rain. Why do you want an ice cream cone so much?’’ Luhan asked again, just wanting for his sister to go watch a movie or something and stop whining.

‘’Because it’s good~ Besides, Mom and Dad never have the time to go with me and they never buy ice cream! I’m craving for ice cream today! Please~?’’ Eunhee was totally enthusiastic at the idea and she looked at her big brother with eyes that held so much hope that Luhan couldn’t do anything else but agree. ‘’Fine, go grab your jacket because it’s cold. But you better not whine if it starts raining.’’ The little girl totally beamed at him and jumped out of joy, running to get her coat as Luhan took his cellphone and his wallet.

As they started walking toward the nearest ice cream store they knew, Eunhee tugged on Luhan’s shirt, ‘’Let’s ask Sehun oppa to come with us!’’ Luhan widened his eyes at the request.

‘’We can’t just go to his house and bother him, he might be busy.’’ He tried to make his sister forget about the idea but stubbornness was running in the family.

‘’And he might not be! Come on, we won’t force him, just ask him. I miss him~’’ Luhan once again made the mistake of looking at his sister’s cute face and he gave in. ‘’Fine, let’s go!’’
For some unknown reason, Luhan felt nervous knocking on Sehun’s door. Why was that? It’s not like he was a stranger! And he came yesterday dressed as a girl, that was definitely more normal to make him nervous than this time, no? Well Luhan was probably just weird because the thought of seeing Sehun made his stomach churn and that was most probably from nervousness… Stupid stomach.
Even after knocking some times, there were no answer and Luhan felt kinda relieved but disappointed at the same time… He couldn’t understand why though.

Eunhee pouted and both siblings continued their way and after a while finally saw the deserted ice cream store. Well it wasn’t really deserted since there was someone inside, but apart from the cashier, the place was totally empty. It wasn’t a surprise on a day like today, who would want to go buy an ice cream when it was this cold outside? Nobody else than Eunhee, obviously.

Finally, they made their way out of the store with each an ice cream in their hands. But as they walked to get back home, rain started falling, at first lightly but then it started pouring. The two siblings started running to get under a roof and they waited a little, then ran under another roof, and then another. It was ridiculous and not really effective since they both were soaking wet already, so they decided to just enter a store to wait for it to pass because they still had about ten minutes to run home.

As they entered the store, Luhan realised it was the one Sehun entered so many times, the one his step-father owned. Oh maybe Sehun was here! And there’s that weird nervousness in his stomach again! Still, Luhan couldn’t help but be curious about what kind of store this was.
Turns out he was pretty disappointed, seeing it was just a normal little store selling every kind of little cute useless things. Luhan didn’t know why but he was expecting something special, a store selling magical potions or Kpop girl groups’ albums or a shop or something… Actually he didn’t know what he expected but… something less ordinary.

The cashier looked very handsome but… kind of dangerous? Yeah he had that intense gaze that was almost scary. When he saw them enter though, he smiled at them and became the cutest person on earth right there. His smile was so sweet! Luhan couldn’t help but smile back and he bowed. ‘’It’s raining pretty hard, isn’t it?’’ The cashier asked and Luhan nodded, ‘’Yup, and running home isn’t the most appealing idea right now… Mind if we stay here for a while? We’ll just wait for the rain to stop a little.’’ The cashier gave them another one of his sweet smile and nodded, ‘’Of course! Stay here as long as you want! Having some company is always nice, even more on a day like this.’’

‘’Thank you very much! Oh and I’m thinking.. Is Sehun here?’’ Eunhee’s head perked up at the name and the cashier tilted his head, looking at him with questioning eyes, ‘’No… why would he?’’

‘’Well isn’t it his step-father’s shop? I know he comes here often  so…’’

‘’His step-father? I’m sorry to disappoint you but I am the owner of this shop… But it’s right that Sehun comes pretty often though, we kinda became friends, though the kid doesn’t talk much.’’ It was Luhan’s turn to be confused now: Why did Sehun lie to him about that? That was a pretty stupid and useless lie if you ask Luhan. Still, Luhan just decided to shrug it off and started a joyful conversation with the owner/cashier.

Luhan and Eunhee finally got back home after the rain stopped pouring, but they didn’t enjoy their ice cream cone that much, seeing as it pretty much all melt while they were running under the pouring rain. Luhan had learned that the shop owner’s name was Zitao and that he was younger than him but they didn’t go to the same school. He was really nice and funny and sweet and Luhan was happy to have met him; even though he only met him once, he considered him almost as a friend. There was still something bothering him though… Why did Sehun lie to him about the shop? Okay this wasn’t a big deal but the fact that it was so insignificant seemed to make Luhan even more curious. Damn curiosity!

Luhan groaned and turned in his bed as his alarm started ringing. Why doesn’t school start later? Or why do human beings even need sleep in the first place? Waking up is not nice. Luhan pouted but got up anyways. He went to open his curtains with still half opened eyes, ready to get blinded by the sunlight, but his eyes were met with something a whole lot more beautiful and nice… There, right in front of Luhan, was… Sehun. But not just normal Sehun, oh no… Sehun… shirtless. And that, I can tell you, is one of the most beautiful sights you can wake up to. Luhan just stood there, his eyes wide opened now and every bit of sleep leaving his body and mind. He was totally in awe in front of this perfection called Sehun’s abs and Sehun’s chest and Sehun’s skin and Sehun shirtless. He even had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming, but no, this was totally real and Sehun was really that well built. How can dance make a body so nice? Maybe he went to the gym too… Or maybe it really was only because of dance. Or perhaps Sehun’s just half-god and was born with a six pack. Yeah that definitely was the last one.
Luhan’s mind didn’t even bother to realise that he was standing right in the middle of the window and that if by any bad luck Sehun decided to turn and look outside, he would see him staring in awe at him looking for a t-shirt somewhere in his room. And Luhan would certainly look like a ert. He did realise that though, when his sister entered the room and asked what he was doing (not that he really heard anything), and then she went to the window and saw just the same sight as him – Sehun was going to change his pants, he was going to change his ing pants -, but as the childish little girl she is, she started waving and jumping and shouting ‘’Sehun oppa!’’ for the other to notice her. Which he did by the way… and Luhan immediately rolled on the wall to become unseen – not without using the back of his hand to wipe the drool away and cursing under his breath because he missed the gorgeous sight already; he could have stayed there all day looking at that window.

‘’Eunhee! What are you doing in my room?! Get out! And stop being embarrassing like that!’’ Luhan couldn’t think of anything else to say as he tried to hide his embarrassment.
‘’But I was only asking you to make me breakfast, I’m hungry~ And you really are not subtle, you know that? I’m sure even from his room he could see the amount of drool you have on your chin.’’ And with that she turned around and headed downstairs.

Woah what did Luhan do to deserve having this evil little girl as his sister? He didn’t know but he sure would like to find out.

Finally! It was lunch time! Luhan was happy but nervous at the same time. He did his best to avoid Sehun during the whole morning because he was still unsure if the other had seen him staring at his flawless, perfect, hot, y body and he was scared the other had. Because that would definitely mean awkwardness... and Luhan looking like a ert. Yeah, both weren’t so appealing so Luhan had decided that he wouldn’t see nor talk to Sehun… which was hard since he had History class in the morning and got to look at his back for the whole period, seeing the defined muscles under that shirt in his head. No, Luhan wasn’t obsessed with the younger’s body ok… he was just very well appreciating it. Like really, it’s not bad to always imagine someone shirtless when you’re looking at them. Not bad at all… (or that’s what Luhan says to convince himself it is true).
Still, now it was lunchtime and Luhan really wanted to eat with Sehun. That was a weird feeling – to want to avoid someone but to want to be with this person at the same time. So he was walking toward the dance studio and surprisingly, he found Sehun standing in front of the door, looking inside the room but not entering.
‘’Hey.. What are you doing?’’ Sehun turned his head toward him and nodded – his way of saying hello, it seems – ‘’There’s already someone…’’ He seemed to not know what to do, this place had been where he ate since the beginning of the year; he had nowhere else to go. Luhan though, had something in mind.
‘’Why don’t we go eat in the cafeteria? You could meet my friends properly!’’ Luhan saw the unsure look on the other guy’s face, ‘’Come on, it will be fun! And Kai won’t be there – I’ve noticed that you seem to tense up in his presence. Besides, there isn’t really another place to go, is there?’’ Luhan was really hopeful and it could most definitely be heard in his voice. Sehun looked at him and sighed. That was the sign he gave in and Luhan joyfully grabbed his arm and dragged him to the cafeteria.

On their way, they met Kyungsoo and he really didn’t seem well. ‘’Kyungsoo? Are you okay?’’ was the first thing Luhan said. Doe-like eyes looked up at him and the blonde haired man could see the tears glistening in them. He immediately went and hugged his friend, trying to comfort him the best he could although he didn’t know why the other was crying. ‘’Hey, what’s wrong?’’ Kyungsoo only shook his head and Luhan stopped asking. He then noticed Sehun standing awkwardly beside them, not knowing where to look or what to do. ‘’Come on, we’ll go sit with Baek and Chan and you can explain to me after ok?’’ Kyungsoo nodded and Luhan smiled, dragging him to their usual table in the cafeteria and he looked at Sehun, giving him an apologetic smile with a movement of the head telling him to come. The guy seemed unsure but followed anyway; it wasn’t exactly the best circumstances to meet Luhan’s friends. 

‘’Hey guys! You won’t be alone to eat today! And you better acknowledge our presence because we don’t sit with you if you’re going to be disgusting!’’ Baekyeol looked up at them with interest and Baekhyun seemed offended, ‘’When are we disgusting?!’’ Kyungsoo and Luhan rolled their eyes, ‘’Always! You’re so annoying and in love with each other that it becomes disgusting!’’ Baekhyun’s eyes widened while Chanyeol was totally neutral to the accusations – just like every time their friends told them that. ‘’We are NOT in love! He is my annoying giant best friend ok!’’ Baekhyun pouted. Yeah, always the same reaction. Luhan was starting to think they were hopeless.
‘’Oh and I know you’ve met before but you weren’t introduced properly. Guys, here’s Sehun and Sehun this is Troll Chanyeol and Diva Baekhyun and you’ve already met Kyungsoo!’’ It seems like Baekyeol only then realised the presence of the younger and they looked at each other with a knowing smile, then bowed to Sehun. They all sat at the table and only then did Baekhyun realise their friend had been crying. ‘’Kyungie! What happened?! Are you okay??’’ And now there is caring Baek – a lot nicer than Diva Baek.

Luhan turned to his friend, waiting for the explanation he was dying to hear. He just couldn’t stand to see his friend hurt and sad.

‘’I’m such a cry baby to cry over this but I can’t hold it in anymore when it’s about Kai… So, you know how he’s been avoiding all of us since.. the incident at the café? Well he came talk to me just now… And he told me ‘’Kyungsoo~ I like you~’’ and just went away without saying anything else.’’ Kyungsoo looked over at his friends to see their reactions, then went on, ‘’It probably just meant something like “I’ll stop avoiding you” but... it’s just really hard to hear him say he likes me when I know it means absolutely nothing to him, you know?’’ Luhan and Baekhyun – each of them on a different side of Kyungsoo – hugged their friend tightly. ‘’It’s alright, Kai is just really stupid. I’m sure he means it though, he might just didn’t realise it yet…’’ Luhan tried to comfort him although he knew there wasn’t anything he could say to bring his friend to smile. ‘’Yeah and I promise you it’ll be alright soon, okay? Just stop thinking about it.’’ Baekhyun added. Chanyeol and Sehun just stayed beside without saying anything. Chanyeol had never been good to comfort someone – other than Baekhyun – and Sehun didn’t really feel like he could do anything. Kyungsoo nodded and sighed, letting all his emotions escape his mind and he even managed to smile, ‘’Thanks guys, I don’t know what I’d do without you.’’ They all smiled and just like that, all the sadness was left behind and the lunchtime became a lot more joyful. They talked happily with each other – even Kyungsoo managed to do that – except for Sehun who, like usual, didn’t talk much. But at least he answered when someone asked him something and he listened to the conversations. Luhan wasn’t sure if he knew him enough to understand his behavior but he was pretty sure that he was actually enjoying the moment.

Chanyeol stood up and went to get a juice at the cafeteria while all the guys kept on talking and joking. To be honest, they made a pretty good job at taking Kyungsoo’s mind away from Kai and the wide eyed boy smiled a lot and talked with enthusiasm. Chanyeol then came back and placed a finger on his lips, telling Sehun, Luhan and Kyungsoo to keep quiet.

‘’WAAAAAAHHH!!’’ Baekhyun jumped out of his seat and let out a not-so-manly scream. ‘’Mothering ! ing Chan I hate you! You scared the ing hell out of me!!’’ … Let’s say Baekhyun’s words became a bit vulgar when he was scared… just a bit. He tried to regain his breath, his heart still beating too fast while everyone were laughing their off. Luhan immediately looked at Sehun, ready to see him chuckle – a laugh would be too much to ask for – but was disappointed as he didn’t see it. Sehun kept his usual pokerface on, but Luhan was still able to see an amused glint in his eyes. At least that was something. He was disappointed that Sehun still felt the need to hide every emotion from him – well from them – but he was aware that it was his first time meeting his friends and he shouldn’t be expecting too much.

When he regained his breath, Baekhyun rested his head on Chanyeol’s shoulders, ‘’Don’t ever do that to me again, I hate you.’’ It only made everyone laugh more since Baek was so bipolar. When the laughter finally died down Luhan turned to Sehun, ‘’They’re always like that those two, always arguing and annoying, but they just love each other at the same time.’’ Sehun nodded and had that very subtle lift of the lips that probably no one noticed beside Luhan and that managed to make the latter smile brightly.
‘’YAH! I told you: we are NOT in love! Besides, I hate him.’’ Everyone snorted and rolled their eyes – even Chanyeol did – and Baekhyun decided to start another conversation to change the topic.

The bell rang and Luhan and Sehun went to their next class together. As they were walking toward the class, Sehun kept on looking at the older. The blonde haired man, curious, finally looked at him and asked, ‘’Is there something on my face?’’ Sehun half-chuckled, ‘’No it’s just that… I was thinking about something. I’m not sure but… were you watching me by your window this morning?’’ As he heard these words, Luhan’s mind went blank. . He totally forgot about that! They saw Kyungsoo and as soon as he saw the tears on his friend’s face, he forgot his own worries. So Sehun really did see him… well that was another awkward situation.

‘’Hum… No? What are you talking about?’’ Maybe playing innocent would work?
‘’Yeah you know, this morning. Your sister waved at me and all… and well I saw you before that. And you seemed to be… pretty much staring.’’ Luhan was only more nervous as seconds passed. He was an horrible liar and he was totally aware that he looked like a ert... What to do?
‘’You probably just hallucinated… I was probably only opening my curtains and I wasn’t awake yet so I tend to look everywhere when I’m still sleepy.’’ What was he even saying?
‘’Well your eyes seemed pretty awake… And you seemed to be looking only at one place. Well you seemed to like the sight… I guess I’ll take that as a compliment to know someone cute like you likes to stare at me when I’m half-.’’ And with a smirk he went to his classroom, leaving Luhan in the hallway, totally dumbfounded. Sehun was actually teasing him? And he saw him staring?! Holy . That was bad. So bad. And what was with that smirk? Didn’t he know what it did to Luhan?! And ohmygod he actually just called him cute didn’t he?!

Luhan sighed. It seemed that getting closer to Sehun meant being embarrassed often. Oh well, it was worth it, wasn’t it?

Here's an update for you all! :) I have to say.. I'm not quite pleased with this chapter, but I hope you don't hate me too much for not being a so good author? 
Oh and were you as disappointed as Luhan when you knew the store was totally normal? Yes? No? Ok xD
I have only 4 days left to school before holidays.. So I'll have a lot more time to write during that time ^^
