Worlds Collide: The Collision
“Both of them are seeing girls already.” Jungah grumbled as they walked towards the dining room.
“”Over protective mei mei” mode?” Kris smiled.
“But, this girl, she’s not like Jinhee unnie, she didn’t give me that, “I like her from the first meeting” feeling.”
“Well, that takes time, Feilin.”
“I don’t think so.”
“Look at you now, judging people.”
“It seems to be rubbing on me.” She grinned. Kris smiled.
“Come on and…be kind.”
“Am I ever anything-”
“Be kind.”
“No.”
Kris smiled and just gently pushed her towards the door.
Khun bit his lip while reading the newspaper. He was enjoying lunch inside a restaurant.
“You’re back, it’s amazing that I didn’t have to drive to the nearest drag strip to see you.”
“Taec.” He grinned and bumped fists with the other male.
“I saw it on the news, working for big companies now, huh?”
“Look who’s talking, chaebol son.”
Taec chuckled.
“I could say the same.” He replied.
“But, have you met them?”
“I did, Kris Wu and Xi..Jungah…..?”
“Oh….Jungah.” Taecyeon grinned.
“What does that “oh” mean?”
“You’re dealing with one of Seoul’s famous chaebol daughters.”
“Famous?”
Then they saw a small group of people step in the restaurant.
“Well, she’s here.” Taecyeon glanced at the crowd.
Khun noticed a very familiar figure dressed in pair of grey sweats and a black hoodie.
“Chaebol daughter?” Khun looked at Taecyeon questioningly.
“She’s…famous for being different.”
“Like seriously, why does he drive like that?” Jungah rolled her eyes as they strolled in the restaurant. Youngjae grinned and wrapped one arm around her.
“Temper, dude.” Daehyun shook his head, then Himchan stepped out from the back.
“Jungie baby!” He grinned and opened his arms to her.
“You would not believe this, Himchan.”
“Why, what made my baby sad?” He cooed, Jungah swatted his arms away.
“Like, seriously, why the would he drive slow in a highway?”
“She’s….well?” Taecyeon grinned.
“She curses well.”
“She’s different from the others.”
Khun just nodded and looked away.
“Ya, Ok Taecyeon.” Jungah was looking at their table.
“You know her?”
“Chaebol community.” Taec grinned. Khun rolled his eyes.
“Jungah.” He grinned back at the girl. Then Jungah’s eyes landed on Khun.
“Drag racer.” She greeted.
“Have you eaten?” Taecyeon asked.
“Not yet.”
“Then, join us.”
“It’s fine, really I-” She looked up as a Murcielago pulled over outside.
“He’s here, see you around Taec and Nichkhun-ssi.” She slapped Taec’s shoulder in a friendly way before heading back to her friends, then she went to the car.
“She’s casual for a girl.”
“Well, Jungah’s like that. She’s very different from the others.”
Kris stepped on the gas.
“I feel wasted.” Jungah murmured.
“In the sense?”
“I’m not drunk, I don’t drink.”
Kris smiled and reached out to squeeze her hand.
“Where does Tao want to eat?” She asked.
“At their place, his parents just arrived.” Kris nodded.
“Can I at least change into something-”
“I passed by your house earlier, I asked butler Jang for some clothes.”
Jungah smiled. As always, reliable Kris.
“Thanks, Li Jiaheng.”
