Jungah stepped in the studio clad in a Balmain pantsuit and a pair of Valentino heels.

“Director Xi, this way.” She was guided by her secretary, then she met with the director and the producer.

“Nice to meet you, ma’am.”

“Yes, same here, director Park. I trust that everything is going well?”

“Of course, we just finished filming the first two scenes.”

Then Khun stepped out of the make up room.

“The boss came to check around?” He mused.

“Of course, we don’t want people to slack off.”

“Very well said.”

“It applies to everybody.” She grinned at him.

“And, director we’ll be having the filming tomorrow at Jeollado, the PR team asked if you could come” Her secretary said.

“Why?”

“It would give good publicity.”

Jungah pursed her lips.

“Fine, I’ll drive there.”

“You came alone.” Khun said as they stepped out of the building.

“Kris had to fly to Japan.” She nodded, she was about to ask for her car when Khun said,

“Have you eaten?”

“Not yet, and my cousin scheduled lunch with me and his girlfriend.”

Khun chuckled.

“Still in the process of liking her?”

“Is there even a process?”

“Tell me about it.” He rolled his eyes playfully. Jungah shook her head.

“How about you join us? That way you can see for yourself.”

“Jungah, I don’t think-”

“No, don’t think, come on. Meet me at this resto at Cheongdam. See you there, Drag Racer.”

Lay glanced up as his cousin and Nichkhun joined them.

“I came from the ad filming, I invited him, is it okay, Yixing?”

“Of course, sit down.” Lay nodded. Khun glanced at Lay and smiled. He could feel Seoyoung looking at him.

Jungah’s eyes widened.

She forgot.

Nichkhun and Seoyoung, somehow I think they know each other.

“How’s the project going?”

“It’s fine, Lay. I have to drive to Jeollado by tomorrow. I cant attend the BOD meeting.” Jungah said, careful not to meet Seoyoung’s eyes.

“Hao le(Okay), I’m glad you could come and join us, Nichkhun-ssi.”

“Yes, Jungah invited me.” He nodded.

“More like I had to drag you here.”

“Does it matter?”

“Well, it means different things.”

“How so?”

“Uhm, guys?” Lay blinked at the two. Jungah smirked and began to eat. Khun just smiled to himself and picked up his utensils.

Lay studied the two.

It was a rare thing, Jungah actually got along with someone new.

Throughout the meal Seoyoung was quiet. And of course, Jungah noticed it. And she also could feel that Khun wasn’t acting like himself.

“Mei, Seoyoung and I are going to Galleria after this, want to come?”

So that she can use your name at one of our malls again?

“Don’t even try to come with an alibi.” Lay stared at her.

“Uhmm, I have plans…with Khun.”

Khun paused and looked at her.

“I promised I’d..show him around Hongdae.” She nodded.

“Right?” She nudged the other male. Khun could only nod cluelessly.

“You got me into this mess.”

“Come on, you get to see wonderful Hongdae!”

Khun chuckled, Jungah and him were walking around the streets of popular Hongdae.

“That…girl from earlier, why don’t you like her?”

Jungah’s jaw hardened for a second. Then she shrugged.

“Well, I wasn’t born to like everyone.”

“A generic answer.”

“Trust me, you don’t want to know.”

“You’re not the type to like people are you?” Khun chuckled.

“It depends.”
