Worlds Collide: The Collision
“Kris ge texted, he said they couldn’t join us for breakfast.” Tao announced. Luhan nodded.
“That’s good then, mei’s been acting weird.” Lay said. Seoyoung smiled and sat beside him.
Jinhee furrowed her brows, then gently, she tapped Luhan’s hand.
“I have something to say.”
“Wae? Is something wrong?” Luhan asked as they stepped out of the dining hall. Jinhee shook her head, Luhan took her hand.
“About Jungah…last night,”
Luhan nodded.
“I don’t think she would act that way…just for no reason.”
“Mei…well, she can be like that.”
“I may not know her well, but I can see how much of an honest and upright person she is, Luhan. So don’t…be too harsh on her.”
Luhan smiled and planted his lips on hers briefly.
“I know. I’ll talk to her.”
Khun glanced up, the hotel staff was already preparing for the party. Drinks were being set up at the mini bars. The pool was already cleaned and it looked magnificent. He sat down on one of the lounge chairs in his wife beater and board shorts. He saw Kris and Jungah stepped out from the glass doors, they were both talking to a few men in suits.
He smiled as he saw her.
Then he remembered one thing.
Seoyoung.
Seoyoung is dating her older cousin, and knowing her, Seoyoung would definitely endanger their family too. Khun’s brows furrowed.
Should I…warn her?
“Yo Drag Racer!” Jungah waved at him. He smiled back at her.
“Brooding at this time?” She grinned at him.
“Sort of…listen, Jungah…can we talk?” He asked.
“..Yeah, sure. Give me a sec.”
Kris looked up as Jungah walked to him.
“I’ll just have a chat with Khun, he said he needs to say something.”
Kris nodded slowly and gave her a smile.
“I’ll check with the crew for the track.” He replied.
“Got it.” She nodded, then Kris pulled her back and planted his lips on hers.
“Try not to get into trouble too.” He said lowly before letting go.
“Hao le!” She rolled her eyes before turning back to Khun. Kris glanced at her before leaving.
“So, what is this expose?”
“How…long have you…known Seoyoung?” He asked.
Jungah’s eyes widened.
“Ever since my cousin introduced her to the family.”
Khun nodded.
“Listen, Jungah…I have to tell you something.” He leaned forward.
“She..She’s not exactly….who she says she is.”
“I know, she’s divorced…and you two know each other.”
Khun looked at her.
“I heard you guys talk at the Lotte party. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
“No, it’s fine, but please…just be wary of her.” He said as he patted her knee before standing up.
“Thanks.” She smiled.
“The party’s at full blast!” Chanyeol boomed.
Jungah grinned as she walked with him.
“Most of our invited guests came, it’s perfect. Right, oppa, have you seen the guys? I’ve been looking for them.”
“Are we not joining your family?” Chanyeol asked.
“No, User Girl’s there trying to kiss my brother and cousin.”
Chanyeol chuckled, then Kris joined them with a bottle of water in his hands. He handed it to Jungah.
“Luhan’s looking for you.” He stated.
“Not going.”
“I know.” He nodded.
The guest, under the name of LYJ walked around, there were a lot of people dancing, swimming and enjoying the beautiful Jeollado sun.
She smiled to herself.
Then she saw two familiar figures ahead of her, they were joined with another tall young man.
Jungah.
She took off her sunglasses and walked to them.
“Can we just head to track instead?” Jungah’s voice could be heard.
“Nothing changed. It’s been a long time, Xi.”
