Hanbyul, a 12 grader, falls in love with her the school's kingka, Kim Myungsoo, or should I say, L. After seeing him for the first time, she immediately was caught up by Myungsoo's charm. She then sent him letters. The whole situation was alright, until, Myungsoo caught her, putting a letter on his car. 

Characters:

Yoon Hanbyul (19) 

She's the protagonist in this story, Dear Myungsoo. She's a very unconfident girl. She lived with her mother, only her mother, since her father had left them for another rich woman. She's not that smart, as she spent most of her time working on various part-time jobs. She's kind-hearted, sometimes stubborn. She never takes care of herself, resulting her to be a stupid-nerd in her school. Her only friend is Haerin, whom is her childhood friend.

Kim Myungsoo/L (19)

He's the guy protagonist in this story, Dear Myungsoo. He's a guy full of secrets, in other words, Mysterious. He's very rich and smart. He's not a spoiled-brat, unlike other sons of the chaebol family. He somehow hated his rich family. He's hard outside but warm inside. He's very active in various kinds of activities in school. He's handsome, cool and a kingka in his school. He had a group of friends, and named themselves as INFINITE. His closest friend is Woohyun.

Nam Woohyun (19)

He's a very cheerful guy. He's smart and also very kind. He could be arrogant at times, but he's really down-to-earth deep in his heart. His father owns the Nam Corp. He's also in a group called, INFINITE. He fell in love with Haerin.

Lee Haerin (19)

She's a talkative girl, who tends to talk all the time, but that's what makes Byul and her tied to each other, they fit each other. She's pretty and popular, but not a queenka. She likes to help people and doing match-making. She's kind-hearted. She fell in love with Woohyun.

Kim Yeonsoo (43)

She's the antagonist in this story. She's the mother of Kim Myungsoo and Kim Hyunsoo. She fell in love with Yoon Jiman, her ex-driver, who's now her new husband. She's an arrogant woman, but she's a conglomerate, so there's no reason she'll not be. She is a selfish and egoist mother to both of her sons. She never care about them, she only stuffed money to their mouths.

Jung Junhye  (41)

She's the mother of Yoon Hanbyul. She's kind and patient as a mother and even as a woman. She accepted that she could not make her husband's dream come true. She worked hard to provide her beloved daughter everything, but sometimes, life isn't that easy. She loves her ex-husband, whom she force herself to separate from. She could be a little aggressive, but deep inside, she's so fragile.

Yoon Jiman (43)

He's the irresponsible father of Yoon Hanbyul, step-father of Kim Myungsoo and Kim Hyunsoo and husband of Kim Yeonsoo. He's a selfish man who only thinks about his dream of being a conglomerate. He purposely seduced Kim Yeonsoo, his new wife, to be a husband of a wealthy woman. He truly loves Junhye, his ex-wife, but both of them realized that he couldn't reach his dream if they were together.
