Jae’s POV

I opened my eyes and welcomed the breath-taking scenery in front of me. Tall trees and plants surrounded me. I walked around the enchanting place and that’s when I saw a girl dancing elegantly with her barefoot on the field of grass. It was beautiful. She was like a fairy with her white flowy dress and her long silky hair dancing with her. Suddenly she stopped and I thought she caught me but she only sat down looking at the flowers around her with a forlorn expression. She looked somewhat familiar. I tried to step forward but stopped when I heard the most alluring voice and my heart fluttered erratically.

She finished with a shaky breath followed by a single tear falling down her immaculate face.

“I love you…”, she whispered into the air, as if she's speaking to somebody.

I found myself walking again towards her. Then all of the sudden she swivelled her head towards my direction. ! She found me!

She looked at me, startled and stunned but I must’ve said something when she suddenly smiled shyly at me. I walked closer to her and noticed something. It’s Princess! She’s Dara! Wait, what the hell is going on?!

‘Jae?’, I hear her call me with her soft voice. I tried to respond but nothing seems to be coming out.

‘Prince Jae!’, I jumped upright so suddenly that my head started to get dizzy.

‘Prince Jae? Are you alright?’, I hear Dara ask as she pat my back. I look at her and saw her worried face.

‘Yeah…just a dream princess’, I replied as I grab her hand and starts rubbing it to give me comfort. What was the dream about again? I can’t seem to remember. I tried to remember my dream but somehow I can’t. It was just blank. That’s strange.

‘Are you sure?’, she asked while tilting her cute head and I smiled. So cute.

‘Yep’, I reassured her, giving her hand a squeeze.

‘Well… uhmm… breakfast is ready Prince’, she smiled shyly at me before leaving me.

‘Wait, why does her smile look familiar?’, I frowned as I thought of it. Damn! My head is aching!

I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up before going out of the room to the kitchen that smelled wonderful. I walk towards Dara but stopped when a soft alluring voice started singing to 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care”. I watched as Dara hummed and swayed as she cooks some pancakes. It was enchanting and amusing at the same time. I stood there just observing and I had this strong urge to just hug her and kiss her and you know what, I just did that. I marched up behind her and she squealed when I gave her a back hug before stealing a kiss on her cheek.

‘I didn’t know you can sing’, I said as I hold her.

‘I ahm heard unnie sing whenever she visited me…uhm Prince you can let go now’, she meekly replied and I couldn’t help but steal another kiss on her flushed cheek…just because I can. I smirked as I reluctantly released her.

‘So, I’m free for the whole day…what would you like to do, princess?’, I asked as I leaned back on the counter as I watch her finish the last batch.

‘Uhmm…how about you decide?’, she replied as she tilts her head at me.

‘How about recording some songs with me?’, I grinned at her.

‘Like sing with you my prince?’, she asked cautiously.

‘Yup’, I replied with a pop.

‘Oh no… I wouldn’t… I mean… I don’t think my voice is good enough…’, she mumbled as she finished the pancakes and started putting it on the table.

‘No, princess. You told me I can decide and I choose that you sing with me’, I told her with a grin as I followed her.

‘But—‘, she frowned but before she can start protesting I held up my hand to stop her.

‘No buts princess. Besides, I think you have a beautiful voice’, I told her as I brought her chin to look up to me. I held her soft gaze as I delved into the chocolate swirls of her eyes. God, she was so damn beautiful, inside and out. I thank the heavens for being the lucky guy who’s able to hold her this close. I leaned in closer and took in her scent. The smell of roses and vanilla.

‘Okay’, she breathe out softly before averting her eyes shyly. So damn cute.

‘Okay’, I breathe out as I pulled away slowly from her.

‘Now, come on, I’m famished’, I told her as I held her hand and led her to her seat before sitting beside her.

We ate our breakfast while having small talks. We also sang a bit while washing the dishes. It felt normal. It’s as if I’ve met her before. It’s as if this happened before. It felt so right and I love it. I love every single moment with her. I love that she fits in my arms like she’s my missing puzzle. I love her alluring scent. I love touching her soft skin. I love her laugh. I love her voice. I love everything about her.

I love her.
