Chapter Five.

friday part 2

The day had gone by very quickly, it was already time for their last lesson.
Jessica cheerfully made her way to the performing arts centre excited for her drama lesson. Once she had entered, she realised that someone was singing. Turns out that the lesson had already started, and Jonghyun was on stage, singing to the rest of the class. Jessica stopped walking and listened to the sweet melody Jonghyun was singing to. She didn’t realise that the song had already ended, his voice brang her to a peaceful daydream. “Jessica!” The teacher yelled for the 3rd time. Jessica came back to reality and responded to the teacher. She realised that Jonghyun was staring at her curiously, it caused her to blush. “We’re starting rehearsals in 5.” The teacher announced and walked off. Jonghyun slowly made his way to Jessica, walking off the stage. “Hey.” He smiled. “Hey.” She greeted back. “That was a nice song.” She complimented, without realising that she actually said it out loud. Jonghyun rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. “T-Thanks.” He stuttered. “We should practice the first song.” He suggested and Jessica agreed. They went on stage together with their scripts, facing eachother to practice their first scene.
As rehearsals started, the rest of the drama class cheered for Jessica and Jonghyun, as they kept on singing in harmony. Jonghyun felt weird every time Jessica’s and his voices mixed together. It made a perfect harmony, every note they sang together seemed to tingle his skin. He liked the feeling, it made him feel happy. Jessica also sang happily, reaching her high notes perfectly. When the song had ended there was a crowd watching them, it was the other drama class. Jonghyun smiled in satisfaction and watched Jessica as she was awkwardly standing on stage, biting her lip.
Time had passed very quickly and the bell to go home had rung and the performing arts centre was already cleared, leaving Jonghyun and Jessica alone. “Are you doing anything after school?” Jonghyun questioned. “No.” Jessica replied. Jonghyun grinned widely and dragged Jessica back onto the stage. “As long as you love me, we could be starvin we could be homeless-” Jonghyun began singing. “And we could be broke.” Jessica joined in with a smile. “As long you love me, I’ll be your silver, Ill be your platinum and Ill be your gold.”  They sang, naturally harmonising.
The room was filled with the beautiful voices of Jessica and Jonghyun.

Yuri and Taemin were waiting for Jonghyun impatiently, knowing that Onew and Taeyeon were already gone and Key had detention. “Seriously where is Jonghyun oppa?!” Yuri muttered. “I don’t know.” Taemin said, concentrating on his phone. He was talking to Krystal again. “Taemin why are you always on your phone now? Who’s the mysterious person you’re texting?” Yuri asked curiously. Taemin put his phone in his back pocket and stared and gave Yuri a look. “Come on Taem! Just let it out.” She teased. Taemin sighed. “Im only telling you noona okay? Don’t tell anyone, especially Jonghyun hyung, he’ll start teasing me. Or Key hyung, he’ll be all protective, just don’t tell anyone.” Taemin said. “Alright!” Yuri replied. “Jessica noona wanted me to talk to her sister through kakaotalk. She’s  coming over to Korea next week and we’ve been talking 24/7.” Taemin explained excitedly. Yuri let out a small chuckle. “Naw Taem  you’re so cute. Are you falling in love with her?” She teased. “Noona! You’re the only person that wouldn’t tease me so that’s why I just told you!” He exclaimed. “Sorry sorry! I wont do it again.” She giggled. Taemin and Yuri’s conversation was interrupted by Minho, who had appeared out of nowhere. “Oh hey hyung!” Taemin greeted cheerfully. Yuri just gave him a smile. “Have you guys seen Sooyoung?” Minho asked with a worried look. “She’s in detention with Key oppa remember?” Yuri reminded. “Oh yeah….” Minho facepalmed himself. “Ive been waiting for her for 10 minutes and she wasn’t out so I got worried.” He mumbled.
