Kris clamped his hands together and let out a deep breath as he looked from side to side. He had finally mustered up the courage to ask Jieun out on a date.

Now he here was, nervous to death, waiting for her arrival outside a small cafe.

"Oppa!" His head snapped up, turning to the source of the voice. A bright smile lit up his face as he saw Jieun walking towards him. "Sorry, did I make you wait long?"

He shook his head, happy to see her. "Not at all. Are you hungry?" She put a hand over her something and slightly nodded. "Just a little."

"Here are your orders. Enjoy your meal," the waiter said. After a curt bow, he walked away, leaving Kris and Jieun in silence. 

Kris picked at his sandwich, glancing up at Jieun who was doing the same with her salad. "So... How was your day?"

Jieun cracked a smile as she looked up at him. "It was... as good as any other school day I guess. We saw each other a few hours ago, oppa."

"Oh.. Right. Sorry. Forget I asked." He sunk lower in his chair, mentally scolding himself for not being able to act cool.

"It's okay," she smiled. "How was your day?"

"Great. Because you said yes."  

Jieun laughed and pressed her palms onto her reddening cheeks. "I'm glad I was able to make your day. You could've asked earlier you know? I'ved liked you for a while now, but haven't had the courage to confess." Kris widened his eyes and tried to supress a huge smile.

He nervously gulped down his water, spilling it in the process. He jumped back in his seat, his face turning red as he heard Jieun stifling a laugh. "Here." She handed him a napkin, which he timidly accepted.<
