“Why am I even invited?” The tall girl grumbled, as she puts on gown unwillingly with the help of the doe-eye girl. She stares at herself in the mirror with a frown, not liking the thing she’s wearing. She hates it when her body is exposed, whether or not it’s a little or a lot. The fact that the dress reveals her shoulders and bit of her cleavage makes her even unhappier. “It’s not exactly a formal event so why do I have to wear this…?”

“There will be important guests.” A woman’s voice sounded through the speaker of the phone. “Well known people and even celebrities.”

“Why would there be so many important people…? It’s not like she’s a major character in the country. She’s even working under Dad.” The girl rolled her eyes as she allows the doe-eye girl to comb and style her hair nicely, to make her more feminine.

“She isn’t. Her father is.”

“Oh right. Minister.” The tall girl sighed.

“Now, my dear. Stop complaining and get ready quickly. See you at the party at nine sharp, alright?”

“I know, I know… See you there, Mum.” And the line went dead, just right when the doe-eye girl finishes with the light make up for the tall girl. Looking at herself again in the mirror, Sooyoung couldn’t help but to be amazed about Yoona’s abilities. “You are seriously full of talents, Yoona… I didn’t know you could style hair and do make-ups so perfectly as well. I’m glad I chose you that time.”

“Thank you, Master.” The doe-eye girl bowed.

“You’re improving with your expressions.” Sooyoung smiles as she stands up and stares at the girl for a while. “And… don’t tell me you’re going to go to the party in that black blouse and pants.” And the doe-eye girl remains quiet. “God… You’re a girl, Yoona. Wear a dress.”

“I’m just a personal helper, Master.”

“Jeez... Fine. I don’t have a dress to lend you anyway… Wear a formal jacket over it.” Sooyoung sighed, as she ransacked her own closet for it. She soon pulls out a black one and hands it over to the doe-eye girl. “Here… Do you want to wear a tie?”

“If Master wants me to.”

“Put on the jacket first.” Sooyoung watches as the girl puts on the jacket and buttons up the only two buttons, which is near her belly button area. The tall girl helps the girl to tidy her clothes and stares for a while, deciding that the girl doesn’t need a tie. “Okay. Tie your hair up. A ponytail will do.”

“Yes, Master.” The doe-eye girl did as told. Soon, both of them are ready and heading to their destination, where the party is held. The doe-eye girl stops the car in front of the big mansion, to allow her employer to get down first.

“Come in and look for me immediately, okay? Don’t wander around on your own.” Sooyoung reminded before closing the car door and heading into the mansion. The doe-eye girl parks the car quickly and went into the mansion, looking around for her employer. But the number of people in the mansion is no joke. Yoona looks around, and notices that she’s being stared at, as people wonder about her identity. Those smiles seem to be mocking her, even though it’s not meant to mean that way.

“Look at her~! Such a pitiful girl, isn’t she? INFECTED with those ugly patches of whatever.” The group of people crowd around her, smiling at her mockingly. They start to poke the bruises on her arms, even though those are hardly healed, causing her to cry in pain. She desperately tries to run away, but they keep on pulling her back and continue to taunt her. She hates the attention she’s getting. Those attentions that are mocking her. But she couldn’t run away from it.

The doe-eye girl starts to back away without realizing it, as the people around her continue to stare at her. The tall girl heard some whispers from the people near the entrance suddenly, about how a girl came in and ran out without saying or doing anything. Sensing that something is not right, Sooyoung excuses herself from the current conversation that she’s engaged in and went out of the mansion quickly.

“Yoona…?” She called out softly as she looks around. “Are you here, Yoona?” She soon stops in front of her own car, and finds the girl sitting in the backseat in a fetus position. Sooyoung raised an eyebrow as she tries to open the car door, which is locked. She knocked on the window but the girl wouldn’t respond. “Yoona… Yoona, open the door. It’s me.”

“… M… Master…?” Yoona looks up slightly and her hand reaches towards the lock slowly, unlocking the door. Sooyoung opens the door instantly and gets in, grabbing her by her shoulders before pulling her in for a hug.

“What’s wrong, Yoona…?” Sooyoung sighed, as she pats the girl gently. It’s the only way to make the girl talk about her problem.

“Their smiles… It feels as though they are mocking me… Like those people… I don’t like it…” Yoona buries her face on Sooyoung’s shoulder, but she’s not crying.

“Yoona… Don’t worry, Yoona. They’re not mocking you. They will not.” Sooyoung continues to pat the girl. “Don’t worry, Yoona. I’m here, aren’t I? Come on, let’s go in together. I’m sorry for leaving you alone. Let’s go in together, okay?”

“… Yes, Master…”
