No One’s POV

“He’s at the conference room at the moment Ms. Shin.”

“He left to have lunch with a client today.”

“Mr. Kim will be working overnight at the mall Ms. Shin.”

These are the things Ha Rin would hear either from her secretary or Myungsoo’s secretary for a week now and it has driven her mad for not seeing him not knowing the real reason why.

“What the hell is going on with you Kim Myungsoo?!” Ha Rin asked out loud late at night at their suite sitting on her bed alone.

“He said he likes me too right? Then why am I resisting like this if I know how I truly feel about him?” She went on.

“But there are a lot of consecquences that could happen with just one action of ours. Can I handle all of it?” Ha Rin asked in worry.

“If he said he’s serious about it, he’ll do something to protect me from being hurt right?” She questioned in defense.

“And there’s a saying that life’s too short to hide your feelings…” She said in a whisper as a conclusion.

“Is this my answer?” She asked herself again and gave herself a firm nod after a moment.

Ha Rin stood up and walked to the door to look for Myungsoo. But then when she opened the door there revealed the guy he’s been looking for, for the whole week.

“Oppa…” Ha Rin whispered and a small smile formed on her lips pleased to finally see him.

“Ha Rin-ah, I was just about to—“

Ha Rin cut him off by hugging him real tight as her tears started to fall. Myungsoo got confused by her sudden action and led the two of them inside the suite not letting go of Ha Rin and locked the door.

When they’re finally inside, Myungsoo let go first. “What’s wrong Ha Rin-ah?” He asked softly and lifted her chin up to meet eyes with her.

Ha Rin wiped her tears away herself. “Why didn’t you show up to me for the whole week?” She questioned him back and frowned.

“I did that because I wanted you to have space and a distance from me would do for you to think about things over. It was hard on my part too but I had to do it for the two of us.” Myungsoo explained truthfully without hesitations.

Ha Rin smiled. “That was a very intelligent move and it was the right thing.” She praised him.

“So you didn’t want to see me?” Myungsoo asked feeling a little upset and lowered his head.

“Of course not, you silly boy! It was the right thing because now I know what my answer is.” She said shyly.

“And that is…” Myungsoo said feeling kind of nervous on what the outcome would be and let his heart beat run fast on its own.

Ha Rin took a deep breath as the same time as her own fragile heart started beating at a very quick pace.

“The truth is… I never stopped liking you, I tried my very best to put an end to it but I always fail when it comes to you. Maybe that’s how much I’ve grown to like you oppa.” Ha Rin confessed in full honesty.

There was a pause between the two for some time as Myungsoo let her words sync into his system and Ha Rin just kept her gaze on him with a smile.

“And I like you too Ha Rin. I like you very much.” Myungsoo spoke up and smiled back at her in happiness.

Ha Rin heard it clearly and it was like music to her ears. They stared at each other for a moment until Myungsoo held onto her neck tenderly and tilted his own to the right and started to lean in.

Ha Rin closed her eyes automatically and waited until their lips collided to each other for the very first time.

Myungsoo her stained cheek lovingly as she encircled her arms around his neck letting the moment go on with their hearts happily racing together.

The two of them broke off almost at the same time and they faced each other both smiling from ear to ear and hugged each other without a word.

Myungsoo let go first upon realizing what the day’s occasion was and just smiled at Ha Rin wiggling his eyebrows together leaving her the confused one this time.
