No One’s POV

“I couldn’t believe that your friends would be easy to fool and let us pass that quick without even explaining ourselves.” Ha Rin stated and giggled.

As they were in the living room at Myungsoo’s house who’s laying down on her lap on the couch after they had dinner.

“I told you, we just have to act as we usually do and see what it does. No problems.” Myungsoo said and pinched Ha Rin’s cheek lightly and Ha Rin chuckled heartily.

“By the way, where were our parents earlier? It slipped my mind that they’re based here now.” Ha Rin said in realization.

“No worries, they said you don’t have to bother and to their own offices because they were out with a client when you arrived at the office this afternoon.” Myungsoo told her with a smile.

“Alright, is Hyunsoo asleep already?” Ha Rin asked.

“Yes, didn’t you see his nanny leave and said she had already put him to sleep while we’re eating dinner in the dinning area earlier?” Myungsoo questioned her.

Ha Rin shook her head. “No, I was busy eating.” She said factually.

“Yes and you filled up your stomach very well.” Myungsoo assumed and chuckled remembering how Ha Rin had eaten a lot during their dinner together.

“And that’s thanks to you initiative of telling Hyunsoo’s nanny to prepare dinner for us. Thank you.” Ha Rin expressed gratefully and smiled.

Myungsoo smiled back in response. “What? That’s it? Just a simple thanks?” He asked in a demanding tone.

“What? Am I supposed to say something else? Ha Rin questioned in puzzlement.

“I don’t know. Think about it.” Myungsoo told her and pouted.

Then it clicked in her mind, she shook her head and eventually started to lean her face closer to his.

Myungsoo smirked in content. “That’s more like it.” He whispered.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!” They both heard Min Young’s loud shriek and stood up in a snap.

“Unnie…” Ha Rin mumbled nervously and tensed up. Myungsoo felt it and held onto her hand giving it a light squeeze of reassurance.

“Look what we’ve got here. What a perfect timing, don’t you think little brother?” Bum teased and smirked at Myungsoo.

“What you just saw… Its…” Myungsoo paused and think hard.

“Yes please. We’re kind enough to give this chance to explain.” Min Young said and gave her sister a disapproving look that made Ha Rin hung her head down low.

“I’m not going to deny anything, its how its supposed to be.” Myungsoo said as calm as he could.

“Oppa…” Ha Rin whispered in a pleading tone.

“No Ha Rin, they’ll know about us eventually. So there’s no point of hiding it now if we’re busted like this.” Myungsoo said factually.

“You’ve figured out that well little brother. Good job!” Bum praised Myungsoo and smiled at him.

“Oppa! Now’s not the time for compliments!” Min Young snapped.

“Oh, sorry.” Bum apologized quickly and pressed his lips into a thin line and stood in silence.

“How long were you planning on lying to me about this Ha Rin?! Huh?! Tell me!” Min Young yelled out in anger and walked towards her sister.

Myungsoo stood immediately in front of Ha Rin defensively and encircled his arm around her shoulder protectively.

Ha Rin breathed out heavily. “I wasn’t lying about anything unnie, I just wasn’t ready to admit everything to you yet because I know you’ll be this way. I’m sorry.” She said sincerely.

“I’m only reacting this way because all of us couldn’t deny the fact that the two of you…” Min Young began and glanced from Myungsoo to his sister narrowedly.

“Aren’t supposed to be this way, you’re flippin’ married L oppa! You should have been responsible enough to know this!” Min Young said sensibly.

She then glared at Bum. “Will you please help me here?! You’re the eldest among us. You should be the one telling these two off and not me.” Min Young said and sat down on the couch feeling exasperated from the situation.

“Okay, Min Young got a point about you being the responsible one Myungsoo…” He began.

“But—“

“I’m not done yet little brother. Let me finish first.” He hushed Myungsoo.

“Putting the “Myungsoo being married bull” aside. They can’t always hide what they truly feel for each other. We can’t control our feelings, and we all know that.” Bum went on.

“Our siblings had a choice, its either they give up, forget and regret when its too late or fight and face the consequences together.” Bum elaborated.

“And what they had chosen is quite obvious to us. Don’t you think?” Bum asked Min Young in conclusion.

“Its still not right.” Min Young continued on her disagreement.

“Nothing’s ever right when it comes to love Min Young-ah.” Bum pointed out.

“So you’re saying we should let them be together, is that it?” Min Young questioned him and looked at the couple standing closely beside each other both tensed.

“We just have to accept, support and wish them their happiness.” Bum stated and smiled towards his brother and Ha Rin.

“No! I won’t! This is impossible!” Min Young argued more.

“We don’t expect you to see and understand this quickly Min Young-ah. We’ll wait for the right time when you’re ready to accept what your sister and I have right now.” Myungsoo said in a composed tone.

“And I’ll be willing to wait forever for that time to come unnie.” Ha Rin exclaimed with determination.

Min Young glared at Myungsoo and Ha Rin and went out the house without uttering a word and banged the door.

“Let her be, she’ll come around soon. But for me, what I can say is this, I’m proud of the both of you.” Bum said and hugged Myungsoo and Ha Rin at the same time.

“I have to go and drive your sister home. You guys take care!” Bum stated and went out of the house.

When they knew that its just the two of them left in the house they pulled each other in for a hug with a word.

Myungsoo then felt his shirt got wet and he broke off the hug quickly and saw that Ha Rin had broken down into tears.

He cupped her face and wiped her tears away with his thumb. “Stop crying Ha Rin-ah, please. It hurts me more to see you like this.” He pleaded softly.

“No, this is all my fault! I betrayed my sister’s trust, and all I did was disobey her. I’m such a useless sister. I should be punished for this.” Ha Rin put all the blame on her and cried even more.

Myungsoo hugged her again. “No, no one’s at fault here, its all about acceptance Ha Rin. That’s just it. and that’s where Min Young is lacking but I don’t blame her for that. She has the right to feel that way.” He explained evenly making her feel better.

“I should go home and see how she is. I’m worried.” Ha Rin expressed in concern and put her crying to stop.

“Are you sure? You can at least spend the night with me. let your sister cool down on her own for tonight.” Myungsoo advised.

Ha Rin shook her head. “No oppa, things will get worse if I don’t go home tonight. I’ll make her more furious than she is now.” Ha Rin said in a matter of fact.

End of No One’s POV

Min Young’s POV

“Young Mistress, your sister has arrived and she went straight to her room.” One of our maids notified me politely and went out.

I walked out of my room and in three big steps I was here inside Ha Rin’s room and I found her standing by the window.

“We’re not done yet Ha Rin.” I told her arrogantly and knitted my eyebrows at her. She turned and looked at me straight in my eyes.

“I know unnie. I know.” She said and gave me a sad look.

“What’s got into you huh? I know you had my support before but I told you to forget didn’t I?! And I even thought you already did, but what now?!” I questioned her.

“I did my very best unnie. But I just couldn’t…” She trailed off and started off crying.

“He’s married Ha Rin-ah! He’s got a wife and a child! Who are you in the picture?! A mistress?!” I told her straightforward.

Ha Rin widened her eyes by this and there I knew that she was hurt by my words.

“Its not being a mistress unnie! No one wants to be born and be called a mistress! I love him! Why couldn’t it be that simple?!” She reasoned out.

“Its not that simple Ha Rin! Being in love with someone who’s already committed to someone else will always be complicated!” I began once again.

“You’re smart Ha Rin. You should know better and not let yourself be someone’s other woman!” I yelled out harshly.

Ha Rin continued on crying. “All I want is for you to open your mind and accept us unnie. Please.” She begged.

“That’s not going to happen. Your situation is bull Ha Rin! Its not always about love! You should have thought about this first before you let yourself sink in this hole! Are you that stupid?!” I said as loud as I can.

“Call me what you want, a mistress, the other woman, and stupid! All that crap! If that’s the only way you would feel better then go on unnie! Throw all the harsh words that you can think of. But that won’t stop me from hoping that one day, you’ll understand me.” Ha Rin exclaimed in a raised voice.

“This is going nowhere. You’re hopeless. I’m so disappointed in you, Shin Ha Rin.” I said as a wrap up and banged the door again behind me as I got out of her room.

“That was the most terrible fight we ever had.” I thought out loud in a sad tone as I walked back to my room.
