No One’s POV

“Do I really have to be part of this?!” Ha Rin whined as she followed the dance routine together with her sister and her friends at their school’s dance studio Wednesday afternoon after school.

“Yes you do dongsaeng. It’s an option we have left.” Min Young told her sister as they continued practicing their dance.

“No. You should have asked someone else and not me. I don’t really like dancing very much. You know that unnie.” Ha Rin pointed out as she struggled catching up with the steps.

“We explained you the rules. Just please bear with it.” Min Young begged and looked at her sister.

“But—“

“Let’s take five girls!” Min Young announced before Ha Rin could argue more.

Ha Rin dropped the argument and quickly sat down on one corner took her phone from her bag and played with it.

“Are you sure its okay for your sister to be in this?” Jihyun whispered in worry as she, Gayoon, Jiyoon and Min Young gathered in on the other side of the room away from Ha Rin.

Min Young looked at her sister. “Yes. She’ll come around. I promise.” Min Young reassured her friends including herself.

Myungsoo’s POV

“Good one!” Hoya pronounced and stopped the music after having a go at the dance routine completely as we all had memorized the steps here at their school’s dance studio.

“Let’s take a break” He added.

I sat on a corner and fished out my phone from my pocket. A smile appeared on my face as I look at my phone’s wallpaper and stared at it for a moment.

“Here.” Sungyeol handed me a water bottle and I gladly took it with a smile as he sat down beside me.

“What are you smiling about?” He asked.

I showed him the picture and grinned. “If I may ask, how are you with Hyuna?” Sungyeol questioned cautiously.

I didn’t say anything and just shrugged my shoulders because I don’t want to talk about it, which might ruin my focus on our rehearsals.

Sungyeol understood and didn’t press on the topic further. My mind acted on its own as I suddenly dialed Ha Rin’s number.

“Hello?” She answered in a soft voice as usual after a few rings.

“Hey Ha Rin, sorry if I’m not there at my office to accompany you. I’m here at—“

“Woollim University for rehearsals, I know. Min Young unnie told me because Sunggyu informed her.” She cut me off.

From the corner of my eye, I can feel that Sungyeol’s watching me and listening to our conversation very carefully.

“Don’t be nosy!” I mouthed and shooed him away. He obeyed quickly joining the other guys, pouting.

“Oppa? Are you still there?” Ha Rin asked.

“Yeah, so where are you now?” I questioned in curiosity.

“I’m here in school. Practicing.” She stated tiredly.

“Practice for what?” I asked as I got confused.

“DONGSAENG!!!” I heard Min Young yelled loudly.

“Sorry oppa. But I have to go. Bye.” Ha Rin said quickly and hung up the phone.

“Let’s do it again!” Hoya expressed and I stood up still wondering what Ha Rin’s up to right now.

Ha Rin’s POV

“Sorry oppa. But I have to go. Bye.” I said quickly and hung up the phone.

“What’s wrong?!” I asked and eyed my sister as I stood up with all of them encircling Jiyoon on her laptop.

“According to our school’s website, participants have to send their video online because organizers have to pick one group per university to represent their school.” Jiyoon explained as she read the new post at their school website.

“What?! I thought anyone could perform?” Gayoon questioned in shock.

“I guess, rules changed because of TOO MANY participants.” Jiyoon said in emphasis.

“So you’re saying we have to send a video like now for us to know if we can perform on the night.” Jihyun said in clarification.

“Yes. And results will be posted by midnight.” Jiyoon answered and continued to read the announcement.

“Let’s do it now.” Min Young unnie muttered in confidence.

“Okay! Hold up!” I cried out and they all had their eyes on me.

“You’re saying we have to perform like now to impress the organizers for us to have the chance to be the one chosen is that it?” I asked.

They all nodded their heads at the same time. “What?! I’m not even halfway on learning the whole choreography and now this?!” I expressed in disbelief.

“We have no choice dongsaeng. You have to focus now.” Min Young unnie stated.

“Now you put the pressure on me? great!” I said exasperated.

“I know you can do it.” Min Young unnie said and pat my shoulders with a wink and they all smiled at me encouragingly as they got at the center of the studio to their respective places.

“Aiisshh!” I growled under my breath and shook my head reluctantly and went to my own place starting over again.
