“Hyungdeul! You need to see this! Come on! Quickly!” Sungjong shouted from his room and the three of us; Sunggyu hyung, Hoya and I ran immediately to see what’s up.

L the Heir of KimShin Corporation spotted with a young lady and his son Hyunsoo at the zoo. Could she be his wife?

The Heir’s date revealed to be Ms. Shin Ha Rin, one of the Heiress of KimShin Corporation.

L and his missing in action wife spent the day together with their son Hyunsoo last weekend.

“Ha Rin-ah…” Her name was the only thing that I had managed to say since this didn’t surprise me that much knowing that it’ll happen sooner or later and it did.

“I knew something’s going on between them! I was right all along!” Hoya expressed and read the article on Sungjong’s laptop.

“Its actually beyond the brother-sister relationship that he told me.” Sunggyu hyung said in realization.

“Although, they look good together, I must say.” Sungjong commented and browsed through the pictures with Hoya beside him.

“I have to go see her.” I decided and walked out Sungjong’s room.

“Its already late! Give it a rest and talk to her tomorrow!” Sunggyu hyung yelled out.

“No! Matters like these can’t wait. Don’t bother waiting for me, I have my spare key.” I said and stormed out of our apartment.

“I hope you’re alright Ha Rin.” I thought out loud as I was driving on my way to her house.

No One’s POV

“Good night unnie!” Ha Rin yelled out as she entered her room and closed the door before her afterwards.

“Are you okay Ha Rin-ah?” A voice asked in worry.

Ha Rin widened her eyes upon hearing it and slowly tilted her head in fear to confirm where it really came from.

She gasped. “What are you doing here? How did you…” Ha Rin trailed off still in bewilderment and looked at the person standing by the end of her bed.

“I came from the back door, the main door was already locked but that wasn’t. I sneaked past your maids and so, here I am.” He explained quickly.

“You. What do you want from me?! With what you’ve done, I can acuse you of trespassing! Are you that desperate Woohyun?!” She snapped.

“Desperate? I just wanted to know if you’re okay because I’ve seen the articles on the internet. I was sincerely worried about you.” Woohyun said in a serious yet very calm tone of voice.

“After the attitude you had shown me, do you really expect me to believe what you’re saying right now?” Ha Rin told him disappointedly.

“Is that how bad I am to you right now? After all the things I’ve done for you? My intention was to make you understand that I’m not giving you up and I’m willing to—“

“But you’ll get—“

“Will you please let me explain myself first?!” Woohyun demanded which made Ha Rin silent and pressed her lips into a thin line.

Woohyun took a step closer to her and grab a hold of her hands. “I didn’t waste I day of finding out the truth myself so please just hear me out.” He said.

“About that, can you tell me how you knew about everything?” She asked curiously.

“Ever since I met you and L, I felt something between you two. But I didn’t let my suspicions run over me. The trip we had gave me the urge to find out more about you, L and Hyuna.” He started.

Ha Rin was listening intently. “When you were in Japan I grabbed the chance to investigate on my own, even my friends don’t know anything.” He pointed out.

“I came to Hyuna’s house and asked their maid myself. And from then on, I knew the whole truth.” Woohyun elaborated.

“If you knew then, why didn’t you stop and still pursue me instead?” Ha Rin questioned him.

“That’s simple Ha Rin-ah, and I’ve said this to you many times, I can wait for you.” He began.

“And when I found out about the news just now I thought of coming here putting on a great risk because I have a proposal to make.” Woohyun said.

“What are you talking about?”

“Rather than always getting hurt, this is better. I’ll make you comfortable; at least I can for you.” He said in full honesty.

Ha Rin didn’t say anything and gave him a look of confusion. “Come to me, I’ll love, care and protect you more. Just please be mine.” Woohyun said in a hopeful voice.

“What—“

“You’re better off with me and not him Ha Rin. Can’t you see that?” He interrupted her with a question.

“But I don’t love you Woohyun!” Ha Rin exclaimed at the verge of crying.

“You can learn to love me! You already did it before, you were on your way on that and you can still do it now.” Woohyun mentioned.

“No Woohyun, that’s what I thought too but I was wrong all along. He’s the only one I love, and nothing can change that.” Ha Rin said in almost a whisper but Woohyun heard every word of it.

There it goes again, the pain that aches each day that never left his now scarred heart winced so much.

“I’m sorry Woohyun.” Ha Rin apologized because she can see how hurt he is and as a friend she can’t afford to see him like that.

Woohyun was staring at her intently and in a snap, he crashed his lips onto hers. Ha Rin was shocked and had her eyes wide open.

With all the strength in her, he pushed him away and glared at him. “What the hell was that for?!” She yelled out in fury.

Woohyun was silent. “You know what, its getting late! Leave now and don’t show up to me if you’re still like that! You’re not the Woohyun I knew! Leave!” Ha Rin shooed him.

“If you change you mind, I still want you to be mine. Good night Ms. Shin.” Woohyun said avoiding her gaze in guilt and walked off.
