No One’s POV

“Okay! Quit the silent treatment and tell me what’s going on.” Ha Rin demanded as they arrived inside Myungsoo’s room at his house.

“You really want to know?” Myungsoo asked monotonously.

Ha Rin gave him a look as she was sitting on his bed. “You, what’s going on with YOU?” He asked with emphasis.

“What did I do now?” She asked back in confusion.

“Let me see, last time I checked you said you were tired but how come you still had the energy to flirt with Woohyun, huh?” Myungsoo accused in a serious tone.

Ha Rin stood up in alarm. “How dare you say that I’m flirting with him? He’s just my friend for crying out loud and you know that.” She pointed out.

“I know he is. But after tonight, I’m not sure if that’s still how he treats you.” He said coldly.

“What the hell are you on about now?!” Ha Rin questioned still clueless on where this conversation is leading to.

“You’re the problem here Ha Rin. I told you, I don’t trust him and I don’t like him being around you too much.” Myungsoo reminded her.

“Woohyun’s a good guy and he’s totally harmless.” Ha Rin said in defense.

“That’s now how I see him though.” He said. Ha Rin remained silent and shook her head.

“I didn’t know you would change like this Ha Rin. How would I know if you had a lot of boyfriends you’ve flirted with back in Japan right?” Myungsoo added and gave her a cold stare.

Ha Rin widened her eyes. “Out of all people, you really had the guts to accuse me of being a flirt! You’re unbelievable!” she said in disbelief as tears started flowing from her eyes hurt from his words.

Myungsoo stared at her and regretted what he said as he watched her cry and knew from that moment that he had hurt her feelings.

“For your information, I never had a boyfriend, I don’t go on dates, and I’m definitely not a flirt.” Ha Rin began.

“I didn’t expect to say this right now.” Ha Rin mumbled.

“What?” Myungsoo asked stood up from his seat by his study table and this time he was the confused one.

“Are you that stupid? Or maybe, numb?” Ha Rin questioned and took a step closer at Myungsoo.

Myungsoo just looked at her in puzzlement silently. “Well, I was right then. The reason why I was loveless for all those years until now is because of you.” Ha Rin stated sternly and wiped her tears away.

“What are you talking about?” Myungsoo asked.

“I like you oppa, I really do.” Ha Rin admitted softly gazing at him and searched his face.

Myungsoo was silent since he didn’t know how to answer her. Ha Rin then breathed out heavily.

“You’re the only one I had my eyes on oppa, ever since we were kids. It started out as a simple crush but now… It’s different.” Ha Rin said sniffed.

“This is outrage! I’m married Ha Rin and I even got a son!” Myungsoo yelled out in frustration.

“You think I don’t know that?!” Ha Rin asked raising her voice.

“I tried to forget you oppa, I had a choice to stop this and move on. But guess what, I failed and I even chose to love you.” Ha Rin confessed delicately in almost a whisper.

Myungsoo was left unspoken for a moment as he let her words process in his mind and most especially, his heart.

“But you’re my…” Myungsoo mumbled finding the right words but immediately stopped as he meet eyes with her.

“Yes, I’m your sister. You treat me like one. I know that, and that’s a fact.” Ha Rin said in defeat.

“Ha Rin-ah…” Myungsoo caressed her face with both of his hands cautiously.

“Once and for all oppa, is that what I’ll always be in your life? After all these years, is that my role to you? A younger sister?” Ha Rin questioned and searched his face for answers looking straight into his eyes and before she knew it a tear began to gush down her cheeks again.

Ha Rin couldn’t wait for his answer any longer and took a step back away from him. “Well, I guess that’s it. Bye oppa.” She said and went of Myungsoo’s room immediately without looking back.

Myungsoo felt his whole body weakened and kneeled down on the floor. Anger filled his mind as he thought of what Ha Rin had told him was such a ridiculous thing.

But what bothered him was the fact that this confession of Ha Rin sent a different feeling to him. A happy feeling that’s holding back, unconsciously a tear streamed down from his eyes and clutched his confused heart.
