The next day, Ha Rin and Min Young had their first night in their own house without their parents and just their maids and butlers with them but the twins was awake earlier than usual and was now at the dance studio because they were used to wake up early in Japan.

Ha Rin applauded as her sister finished her dance routine that she made herself. “That was great unnie! I’m sure that’ll come in handy when we start school next week!” Ha Rin exclaimed as she handed her sister a bottle of water and a towel and sat beside her.

“You think so?” Min Young asked feeling discouraged.

“I know so!” Ha Rin said and patted her sister’s shoulders encouragingly.

Min Young smiled. “How was your sleep last night dongsaeng?” She asked Ha Rin but before Ha Rin could answer a maid knocked and peeked inside.

“Young Mistresses, your breakfast is ready and Young Master Myungsoo is downstairs too he was the one who told me to call you to eat.” The maid said politely and closed the door before her.

The twins looked at each other. “You said you’ll try, I still remember that.” Min Young stated.

“I know unnie, I remember it very well too and I’ll do it.” Ha Rin said with a smile.

“How?”

“Act normal.” Ha Rin said with a wink and left the room first.

“That’s my girl.” Min Young said out loud and followed her sister afterwards.

The twins had finished breakfast and while they were eating Myungsoo stayed at the living room quietly waiting for them to be done since he said he already had his breakfast before he came.

Ha Rin sat beside him and Min Young excused herself because she knew that the two should talk privately and that she had to continue practicing her routine anyway. “Why are you here so early oppa?” Ha Rin asked curiously.

“I was wondering if I can talk to you.” Myungsoo said softly.

“Shoot.”

Myungsoo then stood up holding onto Ha Rin’s hand. “Where are we going?” Ha Rin asked confused.

“My house.” Myungsoo said plainly and dragged her out of her house to his car.

“Since when did you get your own house?” Ha Rin asked as they got inside Myungsoo’s house and sat comfortably in the living room.

“When my son was born, my parents got this for me. But that’s not the thing we should be talking about right now. What happened to you last night and you walked off from me?” He asked and knitted his eyebrows at her.

“Oh, don’t you give me that look Kim Myungsoo. It was your entire fault alright. If you had told me first hand that you’re married and got a child I won’t react that way! Why didn’t you tell me anyway?” Ha Rin complained and stood up facing him with a frown on her face.

“I wanted to tell you personally because this is something important and very special in my life. I felt so happy and complete when I got married and most especially when my son was born.” He explained.

“Right. Who’s the lucky wife?” She asked a bit irritated and raised an eyebrow at him.

“Hyuna. I’ve mentioned her to you remember?”

“Yeah, the last time we talked about her was when you still think you like her and now you’re telling me that she’s the one you married?” Ha Rin questioned as she felt her anger boiling up after hearing the name of Myungsoo’s wife.

“Didn’t I tell you I wanted to tell you everything personally so hear me out Ha Rin.” He stated in a serious tone and with this the two sat on the couch beside each other and Ha Rin kept silent.

“She became my girlfriend of course, and when we were at a party with our friends we danced all night, we were drunk and there, that’s how we got our Hyunsoo, our son.” Myungsoo began.

“Hyuna plus Myungsoo, Hyunsoo. Ah~” Ha Rin piped in shortly.

He gave her a simple nod. “We decided to get married civilly since we’re still young that was the choice given to us by my parents. And when I got married, dad transferred me to an international business school and he gave me a job in our company as well and that’s how my present life is now.” Myungsoo explained more.

“So it was like a punishment then?”

“Kind of a punishment, but I’m fine with it since it made me work independently and think about things in a more practical and mature way. And it’s the only thing I could do in return because my parents still accepted me even after all the trouble I’d caused our family.” He stated.

“It was hard I assume.” Ha Rin said in sympathy.

“I had to admit but yeah. I didn’t know what to do, I’m still young, at the age of 20 when I found out Hyuna was pregnant my world fell apart, I was confused, I—“

“And you did a very good job oppa, I’m proud of you.” Ha Rin cut him off and put an arm around his shoulders soothingly.

Myungsoo then hugged her tight which took Ha Rin by surprise and what astonished her more was that her heart was pumping loudly and her cheeks that’s giving out a light shade of pink.

“Thank you Ha Rin. You don’t know how much I’ve waited for this time to come so I could let it all out to you.” Myungsoo mumbled.

“Well… I—“

“And that’s why, you’re my favorite dongsaeng.” Myungsoo said as he broke off the hug and pinched Ha Rin’s cheek.

‘Is that all I could ever be? Younger sister?’ Ha Rin thought and just stared at him blankly.
