No One’s POV

“What’s the sudden family meeting about?” Bum asked and lazily sat on the couch beside Myungsoo, Ha Rin, and Min Young late at night at the Shin’s mansion.

“I was already in my dream land when mom called. Where are they anyway?” Min Young questioned as she yawned and nudged her sister.

Ha Rin didn’t budge at first since she was busy playing thumb of war with Myungsoo on her other side.

“YAH!” Bum and Min Young shouted which made the couple jump from their seat in shock.

“What?~” Myungsoo and Ha Rin questioned the two naively.

“Do you have any idea about this meeting?” Bum asked his brother.

“No, I don’t.” Myungsoo said simply as he shook his head and held onto Ha Rin’s hand.

“Oh you should my dear son.” Mr. Kim said in a serious tone as their parents walked to the living room from the conference room of the Shin’s.

The younger ones abruptly felt the atmosphere died down into a staid one and thought that it’ll probably be a long night for all of them with their heart beats racing fast.

The adults settled theirselves on a couch in front of their children and looked at them one by one with the same unsmiling expression on their faces.

“What’s up dad?” Bum questioned Mr. Kim casually.

“What’s up?! What’s up is this! You’re brother’s careless actions!” Mr. Kim said in a raised voiced and banged the newspapers and photos on the center table.

“What is—“ Ha Rin stopped herself as she was staggered by what she’s seeing in front of her and looked at Myungsoo who had the same expression as hers.

“OMO!” Min Young gasped with widened eyes.

“You made it to the headlines little brother.” Bum exclaimed with a smile but turned it into a frown in snap as he read the newspaper.

L the Heir of KimShin Corporation spotted with a young lady and his son Hyunsoo at the zoo. Could she be his wife?

The Heir’s date revealed to be Ms. Shin Ha Rin, one of the Heiress of KimShin Corporation.

L and his missing in action wife spent the day together with their son Hyunsoo last weekend.

“What’s the meaning of this?!” Mr. Kim shouted in anger and stood up.

“You were out and didn’t even realize that you were being followed?! Look at all the pictures!” Mr. Kim said.

It was indeed good pictures that supported the news. The one when they were walking along each other, the one where Ha Rin and pecked his cheek and the last picture where Myungsoo tasted her ice cream that day.

“Its true that we went out together with Hyunsoo, I can’t deny that now, with all of these in front of us.” Myungsoo spoke up nervously.

“Then explain this one to me, all the affection between you two. Its obvious to us that it has gone deeper, am I right?” Mr. Kim asked trying to calm himself and looked from Myungsoo to Ha Rin.

Myungsoo then laced his fingers with hers and gave it a light squeeze and nodded. Ha Rin followed him and gave a tensed nod.

The twins’ parents panted in surprise including Mr. and Mrs. Kim. “That means… You two…” Mr. Kim trailed off.

“Yes. We’re in a relationship dad.” Myungsoo confessed in a very manly manner.

“Are you crazy?!” Mr. Kim and Mr. Shin asked loudly.

“You’re committed to someone else! How can you do this to our Ha Rin?!” Mr. Shin questioned him in both fury and disappointment.

“So what if I’m committed? She’s the one I love now, and I love her more than my own wife!” Myungsoo pointed out and stood up.

“Oppa…/L oppa…/Little brother.” Ha Rin, Min Young and Bum called out for him in almost a whisper alarmed by his action towards their parents.

“Bum-ah, Min Young-ah, don’t tell me that you knew about their relationship all along?!” Mr. Kim asked and looked at Bum and Min Young expectantly.

They both nodded in terror. “And you didn’t stop them?! For heaven’s sake, you two are the elder ones here!” Mr. Shin stated factually.

“We supported them because we know that they’re happy with each other.” Bum said in simple terms.

“Please dad, I love Myungsoo oppa. I love your son uncle.” Ha Rin pleaded and looked from her dad to Mr. Kim.

“What do you know about love Ha Rin-ah?! You’re too young for this!” Mr. Shin argued and gave her a narrowed look.

“No! I know what I’m doing! You just have to let me grow and trust me dad.” Ha Rin said and looked straight into her father’s eyes.

“Honey, didn’t we talk about this already? Why are you still making it complicated for our kids?” Mrs. Shin finally spoke up calmly.

“Yeah, I agree with her.” Mrs. Kim said in a relaxed tone of voice.

“But…” Mr. Shin and Mr. Kim tried to argue more but paused quickly as their wives are already giving them deathly glares.

“Myungsoo, Ha Rin… Actually…” Mrs. Kim began as she and Mrs. Shin stood up and approached the couple.

“We had settled things already back at our conference room earlier. We don’t really object on your relationship. We even felt happy upon seeing these pictures.” Mrs. Shin said.

“Huh?” The younger ones asked in confusion with the unexpected twist of the situation.

“We wanted you to be together in the first place, but then things changed when the Shin’s left and Hyuna came into the picture.” Mrs. Kim continued on.

“So now that you’re finally together, your future would be secure.” Mrs. Shin said and smiled.

“And we don’t really liked Hyuna for you Myungsoo-yah.” Mrs. Kim revealed and giggled.

With this, the younger ones sighed in relief. “Thanks for understanding mom.” Myungsoo said and gave his mom a hug and Ha Rin did the same thing with her mom.

“What about Hyuna then?” Mr. Kim asked Myungsoo and faced him.

“We’ll think about that some other time.” Mrs. Kim said and high-fived Mrs. Shin.

“Our problem doesn’t stop there, what about the news spreading around then? I’m sure they won’t stop until they get answers from the two of them.” Bum stated and looked at his dad.

“And our real family status has been revealed now. I’m sure our schoolmates had known about it by now.” Min Young said and looked at her dad in worry.

“Don’t go to school for now, until the news had died down.” Mrs. Shin suggested.

“NO! We’re not raised to be a coward unnie, we’ll face them together. What are we afraid of? We’re the heiress of the KimShin Corporation, we should be proud.” Ha Rin stated in confidence.

“That’s my girl!” Mr. Shin cheered and walked to give his daughter a hug that made Myungsoo step back to give him space.

“Are you sure?” Myungsoo asked in concern. Ha Rin nodded and rested her head on his shoulder as they were sat back down on the couch.

“Aww! Look at them! They’re really a perfect match!” Mrs. Kim cooed.

“Aigoo! My princesses are really growing up now.” Mr. Kim sighed in loss which brought laughter to all of them.

“Wait up! So all the anger earlier was not real then?” Bum asked upon realization.

Mrs. Shin laughed. “Not really, we wanted to hear the kids out first.” She explained with a smile.
