“Cheers!” Sungyeol and Dongwoo clicked their glasses together at a bar late at night.

“Finally! We had the time to enjoy a night like this.” Dongwoo exclaimed with a big grin on his face.

“I know. But it’ll be better if we have L with us right now.” Sungyeol stated in disappointment and pouted.

“We told him didn’t we? But said, “I’ve got work to do”” Dongwoo imitated how L had said it earlier back in his office when they asked him to come.

“I don’t even know what’s been bothering him lately. He’s been very workaholic all week.” Sungyeol said.

“Yeah, I’ve noticed that and he started acting weird since he got off with Ha Rin last Friday night.” Dongwoo muttered.

“And speaking of Ha Rin, she didn’t come to his office all week too.” Dongwoo added.

“Oh yes! I just realized it just now when you told me. I wonder what happened to her and L. what do you reckon?” Sungyeol asked in curiosity.

“I don’t know. We shouldn’t be jumping into conclusions right now because we don’t have the facts. But at least its obvious to us that he’s been miserable.” Dongwoo told him.

“Alright, You have a point. But I hope he’ll be back to his normal self soon.” Sungyeol hoped in worry.

“So, what brought you here late at night?” Ha Rin asked Woohyun as they sat on a bench by the twins’ garden at the back of their house.

“Well, Sunggyu hyung wanted to visit your sister. I just tagged along.” Woohyun told her.

“Why?”

“So I can see you.” Woohyun said plainly. Ha Rin just sighed and look up to see the stars shining in the sky.

“I heard you’ve been sick. I wanted to visit when Min Young told Sunggyu hyung what happened to you.” Woohyun began and Ha Rin looked at him.

“Are you okay now?” He questioned in concern and met eyes with her.

“I’m okay.” Ha Rin mumbled and lowered her head.

“Tell me, where did L took you last Friday night?” Woohyun asked cautiously.

“What?” Ha Rin asked as she was caught off guard by this question.

“Apparently, when you two left, your sister told us that there’s no need for us to fret about it because he might have just took you home and advised us to go home too.” Woohyun explained.

“So that’s what happened to you guys that night.” Ha Rin muttered in understanding.

“Yes party pooper. So, he did took you home?” Woohyun asked in interest.

“He did. At his house.” Ha Rin whispered and the side.

“What?”

“Oh! Yeah. He did.” Ha Rin lied and leaned on the bench and played with her fingers.

“You’ve been crying are you?” Woohyun questioned and gave her a look.

“What?!” Ha Rin sat up straight in alarm.

“Your eyes disappeared. See.” Woohyun stated his observation and tried to open her eyes larger with his fingers carefully.

“Did something happen?” He asked intrigued.

Ha Rin took his fingers away and sighed. “Nothing.” She denied.

“If you need someone to talk to, I’m just here for you, alright?” Woohyun reassured her with a smile.

“Why are you being so kind to me? even if I act like a brat whenever we’re together?” Ha Rin asked and gazed at him.

“I can live with it, don’t worry.” Woohyun said and laughed.

“Yah!” Ha Rin cried out and slapped his arm and glared at him.

“Alright. Don’t kill me.” Woohyun said in fear.

“Just answer my question.” Ha Rin demanded.

“I like you, simple.” Woohyun said delicately in a straight forward attitude.

Ha Rin was shocked by his sudden confession. “You do?” She asked.

“Yes, I know it came out of the blue but do I have a chance with you, Young Mistress?” Woohyun asked in confidence but inside, his heart was beating nervously.

Ha Rin thought for a moment as Woohyun waited he inched his face closer to hers. “I’ll give you a chance—“

Woohyun hugged her instantly. “Really?! You—“

Ha Rin pushed him away lightly as she was taken aback by his action. “Yes. Under one condition.” She said in a serious tone.
