Min Young’s POV

“Are you sure you’re okay now?” I asked Ha Rin as we walk inside our school on an early Wednesday morning.

“Yes. I’m totally fine.” Ha Rin said and gave me a small smile.

“HA RIN-AH!!!” Four girls screamed and ran to where we were standing and crushed my sister with their hugs.

“We missed you! How are you feeling?” Jihyun asked.

“Are you okay?” Gayoon added.

“Let me carry your bag for you.” Jiyoon said and took Ha Rin’s bag and slung it on her shoulder.

“You got sick right after me, who is next then?” Sohyun questioned with a giggle.

“Okay. Girls! Time out! I’m here because I’m not sick anymore. I missed all of you, and thanks for your concern I appreciate it. And I’m sure I can carry my things on my own, thanks Jiyoon.” Ha Rin stated and got her bag from Jiyoon.

“Now, we have to go to class right? See you later~” Ha Rin added and walked away from us.

“She’s right. We should be heading to lessons by now.” I stated and we all went after Ha Rin on our way to our respective classrooms.

“Min Young-ah, can we talk to you?” Jihyun asked as she approached Min Young sitting under the tree at their school’s park during lunch time on a Friday afternoon.

“Of course! But where’s my sister?” Min Young questioned as she craned her neck looking for Ha Rin behind her friends.

“That’s the thing we wanted to talk about with you.” Gayoon told her as they all sat on the grass with Min Young.

“Ha Rin got detention, she has to stay back.” Jihyun began.

“They told us she wasn’t paying attention during class Sohyun added and looked at Jihyun and Gayoon as the two nodded in agreement.

“She would often stare into space, completely in a different world.” Gayoon stated based on her observation.

“She’s been like that when she came back two days ago.” Jihyun said for support on Gayoon’s previous statement.

“Is there something that has been bothering her?” Jiyoon asked in concern and they all looked at Min Young expectantly.

Min Young heaved out a sigh. “Let’s just say, she’s still isn’t feeling very well until now.” She said.

“She’s still sick? But she doesn’t have fever anymore.” Sohyun pointed out naively.

“Yes. She’s sick. Love sick.” Min Young said in plain words.

“She is? Who’s the guy involved?” Jiyoon asked in interest.

“I’m sorry girls. But there’s a limit on what things I should and shouldn’t tell you.” Min Young explained.

Her friends shot her a confused look. “Not that my sister and I don’t trust you. We do, but the thing is when its about love or other more personal matters we intend to keep it with only the two of us. I’m sorry.” Min Young added and apologized quickly.

There was a silence between the girls for awhile. “Alright, we understand. Right girls?” Jihyun said and smiled.

The three girls nodded. “Thanks girls!” Min Young expressed feeling grateful and hugged the four girls around her one by one.

“We hope Ha Rin gets better soon.” Gayoon wished and smiled.

“I hope so too. But don’t worry, she knows you care for her and she appreciates it as much as I do.” Min Young stated and smiled at her friends warmly.
