No One’s POV

“5, 6, 7, 8.” Sohyun counted the beats as she, Min Young and Jiyoon practiced the dance routine they had to present later in class at their school’s park during lunch time.

“Min Young-ah, is your sister sick?” Gayoon asked in concern since Ha Rin has been very quiet all day and just sitting there leaning her back on the tree looking at her phone.

And with this the three dancers stopped for awhile and sat down on the grass. “She’s fine.” Min Young said simply.

“You two are weird. Are twins like that?” Jihyun questioned.

“What?” Min Young asked back in confusion.

“Let’s see, yesterday, you were the one who was acting unusual being hyped up with a smile permanently plastered on your face. Now its Ha Rin, but this time it’s the total opposite from your behavior yesterday.” Jiyoon elaborated.

“Are you two having problems with your mood swings?” Sohyun asked.

“No, nothing of that sort. We’re okay, she just got some things in her mind that’s bothering her, that’s all.” Min Young assured them.

“Don’t tell me a guy is involved in this too?” Jihyun asked. Min Young kept quiet and just shrugged her shoulders as her answer.

The day ended quickly for Ha Rin since she doesn’t have the energy to be lively at school and now she’s at Myungsoo’s office.

After two hours of working quietly from the moment she arrived she decided to keep shut but she can’t take it anymore.

Ha Rin walked towards Myungsoo’s desk and sat on the chair in front of it. “Oppa…” she called out softly.

Myungsoo kept his gaze on his laptop and didn’t dare look at Ha Rin. “Are you mad?” she asked cautiously feeling nervous.

“So what if I am?” Myungsoo muttered in a serious tone with knitted eyebrows.

Ha Rin stood up and kneeled by his chair. “Oppa, don’t me mad please? Please~” Ha Rin pleaded like a child.

Myungsoo looked on the other side as he can’t help not to smile on how Ha Rin is begging like a child that is quite amusing for him.

“Fine, I’ll just leave. It seems like you don’t want me here.” Ha Rin said in loss and stood up.

Myungsoo stood up and held onto her wrist. “Don’t.” he said simply and Ha Rin turned and look at him.

“I’m sorry if I agreed on being friends with Woohyun, I just figured maybe he’s not a bad person as we thought he is and about him accompanying me at home it was Min Young unnie and Sunggyu’s idea he was already there when I arrived at home. And—“ Ha Rin explained everything quickly but Myungsoo stopped her by placing a finger on her lips.

“Okay, I’m fine with that explanation. I just thought you would have told me earlier.” Myungsoo said with disappointment in his voice.

“Alright. I won’t do it again. I’m sorry.” Ha Rin apologized again and lowered her head.

Myungsoo lifted her chin up. “Apology accepted.” He said and smiled warmly.

“Really?!” Ha Rin asked with her face lit up.

“You promise he didn’t do anything to you when you were alone with him in your house?” Myungsoo asked.

“Of course! And don’t worry; I won’t be in a room with him alone ever again. That I promise you.” Ha Rin assured him.

“I like the sound of that and I agree, but what for exactly?” Myungsoo questioned in curiosity.

“For returning the favor, since you approved on my friendship with him.” Ha Rin clarified.

“When did I say that?” Myungsoo asked raising an eyebrow at her.

“You said you’re fine with it just now!” Ha Rin pointed out.

Myungsoo knitted his eyebrows together. “Fine. I’ll stay away from—“

“No need. I’m okay with it as long as you know that he won’t do anything inappropriate to you. Understand?” Myungsoo cut her off and smiled.

Ha Rin nodded with a smile. Myungsoo smiled back and hugged her, without hesitation Ha Rin hugged him back in content that he’s not mad at her anymore.

“Dude, we have an emer—“ Sungyeol cut himself off as he had barged inside Myungsoo’s office and found him hugging Ha Rin.

Myungsoo and Ha Rin realized Sungyeol’s presence and let go of each other’s arms and faced Sungyeol who had a shocked look on his face.

“Uh, we have an emergency meeting, now. I’ll see you at the conference room.” Sungyeol managed to deliver the message and left the room immediately and went to see Dongwoo to tell him what he just witnessed.

“I think that’s my cue to leave. Right?” Ha Rin asked and walked to the couch and got her bag.

“You go home first, and wait for me there.” Myungsoo said in a commanding tone.

“Alright. See you later~” Ha Rin said as she waved good bye and went out of Myungsoo’s office on her way to his house as usual.
