No One’s POV

“Appa~~” A baby’s voice cried out from a distant room and Ha Rin looked at Myungsoo instantly.

“Is that—“

“Yes. Come, it’s time for you to meet him.” Myungsoo said with a wide grin.

They went together inside the room where Hyunsoo was sitting on the bed with pillows on either of his side that acted like a barricade to protect him from falling of the bed just in case.

Myungsoo approached Hyunsoo and carried him. “Aigoo~ Appa’s here now, stop crying. Its okay, sshh.” He said softly trying to stop him from crying and after a moment he did stopped crying.

A smile appeared from Ha Rin’s face as she watched Myungsoo looked at his son with so much love and care. Myungsoo then gestured her to come closer and she did, “Hyunsoo-yah, meet your noona. Ha Rin noona.” Myungsoo told Hyunsoo and smiled.

Ha Rin didn’t know how to react at first because she doesn’t have a love for kids as much her sister does but Hyunsoo gave her a different feeling, a happy feeling. She unconsciously took Hyunsoo from Myungsoo carefully and carried him.

“Hi Hyunsoo-yah~” Ha Rin cheered and pinched Hyunsoo’s chubby cheeks lightly and he responded with a big smile.

Myungsoo chuckled, “He likes you~” he said a bit surprise as how Ha Rin handles his son because he knew that Ha Rin isn’t the type who would go along with kids that quick.

“Of course he does~ I’m as cute as him, why wouldn’t he like me? Right Hyunsoo-yah?” Ha Rin said and kissed Hyunsoo’s cheek. Hyunsoo then squealed and clapped his hands together.

“He got your eyes, your nose and your lips oppa.” Ha Rin stated as she got a closer look at Hyunsoo who’s still on her arms.

“Yeah. I’ve heard that a lot. Mom even said he looks just like me when I was still a baby.” Myungsoo said and stood beside Ha Rin looking at his son proudly.

“I don’t think so.” Ha Rin said in objection and glanced at Myungsoo with a smirk. And he raised an eyebrow at her.

“He’s much good looking than you.” Ha Rin said and stuck her tongue out at Myungsoo. Before Myungsoo could react Hyunsoo yawned and scratched his eyes sleepily.

Out of the blue, Ha Rin knew what to do. She walked and laid Hyunsoo on his bed carefully and she began to pat Hyunsoo’s side lightly humming to put him to sleep. Myungsoo sat on the other side of the bed and watched how Hyunsoo closed his eyes and finally had fallen asleep with Ha Rin’s help.

The two crept out of the room soundlessly not wanting to disturb Hyunsoo who’s now on his dream land.

“Who would have thought that you, Shin Ha Rin can put a baby nevertheless my son to sleep with a little humming and patting on the side? Are you sick?” Myungsoo asked in disbelief and touched Ha Rin’s forehead checking her temperature as they’re now on the couch in the living room sitting beside each other.

Ha Rin punched his shoulder, “I like Hyunsoo, simple.” She clarified. Ha Rin looked around the bungalow house that Myungsoo got searching for someone that should be there too. “Where’s your wife?” she asked trying not to sound irritated keeping her cool and looked at Myungsoo.

“She’s at her province for the time being because that’s where she’ll continue her studies. So we decided that Hyunsoo stays with me since she won’t have time to look after him.” Myungsoo told her.

“What an irresponsible .” Ha Rin sneered on her side in a whisper.

“What?” he asked as he didn’t hear what Ha Rin said.

“Do you have time to look after him? Aren’t you a busy person too? Much busier than her I suppose.” She asked.

“Yeah I do. And besides, Hyunsoo has his nanny. She’ll be here in a little while.” Myungsoo explained more and Ha Rin just gave him a nod as a sign of understanding.

There was a silence afterwards and Myungsoo just stared at Ha Rin as she was busy looking around the house admiring it. She then noticed Myungsoo’s eyes on her for a long time now.

“Is there something on my face?” Ha Rin asked consciously.

Myungsoo shook his head. “Then?” she questioned again.

“I just missed you. I missed you a lot.” Myungsoo uttered softly and pulled Ha Rin more closely and made her rest on his chest putting his arm around Ha Rin’s shoulder and instinctively Ha Rin wrapped her arms encircled on Myungsoo’s waist.

“I missed you too oppa~” Ha Rin mumbled and smiled.
